The Book of Enoch starts: "The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed." So who was Enoch? Sumerians recorded in their Sumerian King Lists that the seventh king in succession from the first man (who we call Adam) was called Enmenduranki also known as En-men-dur-ana (meaning 'ruler bridging between heaven and earth) and was first king of Sippar in Mesopotamia and was taken into heaven to be taught by angels.
