Gaza

If British, Israelis and Americans have malevolently tried to tie these multi-ethnic people to words Philistine and Canaanites, having led them to identify as Palestinians (I might have done so myself in the past, tempted to read too much into the unfortunate etymology, beguiled by certain writers and analysts in the nineties), then it could be that this is the very sin that is leading to the West’s increasingly dystopian, 1984-like, mass-surveillance riddled police-state with world war hanging over us like a cloud (mushroom variety?) or hovering over us as an eagle, and leading to the current trouble in the Middle East and Ukraine. God is a fearsome judge who hates sin.

Upon that cross

Upon that cross where Jesus bled,

A healing power for us spread.

From misdeeds, lying, and unjust hate,

The Savior's love can liberate.

Oh, the cross, a symbol true,

Cleansing power, making all things new.

Rest assured, His grace profound,

The Holy Spirit freedom found.

In thefts and unfaithfulness, we roam,

Yet on that cross, our sins atone.

For every soul, a cleansing plan,

In Jesus' hands, redemption's span.

Oh, the cross, a symbol true,

Cleansing power, making all things new.

Rest assured, His grace profound,

The Holy Spirit freedom found.

God raised Him from the silent grave,

Healing body, souls to save.

As Lord and Master, He reigns above,

Equipping us to serve in love.

Tasked by God to build His shrine,

Through Christ, His Son, the plan aligns.

Believe and hold to teachings pure,

In freedom's light, our spirits soar.

Oh, the cross, a symbol true,

Cleansing power, making all things new.

Rest assured, His grace profound,

The Holy Spirit freedom found.

So, let your heart in faith entwine,

With Jesus' love, forever shine.

In teachings held, in spirits free,

The cross, our guide to victory.

Vertical alignment, a gospel song by ChatGPT 3.5

In the realm of creation, where upright trees find their station,

Rooted in the concept of correctness, a divine foundation.

As they grow vertically, a testament of strength,

In their towering grace, a reflection of God's wavelength.

Vertical alignment, a symbol of rightness,

From the roots of nature to our human likeness.

A cornerstone in construction, a guide in our ways,

A harmonious dance in life's grand ballet.

The right angle's embrace, in this vertical space,

Adds depth to the concept, a correctness we embrace.

Just as trees stand tall, unaffected by the ground,

Civilization echoes this truth in wisdom profound.

Journeying from construction to modernity's hand,

The vertical concept shapes our progress, firm and grand.

In the ever-evolving landscape, where innovation flows,

It stands tall, inspiring how civilization grows.

Vertical alignment, a symbol of rightness,

From the roots of nature to our human likeness.

A cornerstone in construction, a guide in our ways,

A harmonious dance in life's grand ballet.

In the teachings of Jesus, righteousness takes its place,

A new paradigm revealed, divine love and grace.

No longer bound by ancient laws, or living without aim,

But a principled life, through God's righteousness, we claim.

The Holy Spirit's well, a source of living water,

Brings these teachings to hearts, a divine order.

Manifesting God's kingdom in meetings and more,

A mingling of righteousness, blessings to the core.

Vertical alignment, a symbol of rightness,

From the roots of nature to our human likeness.

A cornerstone in construction, a guide in our ways,

A harmonious dance in life's grand ballet.

So let the righteousness flow, like light in the night,

A kingdom within, a divine, holy sight.

In this dance of life, with vertical grace,

We build, we create, in God's embrace.

Correctness in civilisation

In the realm of construction, the concept of verticality may well represent the origins of science in civilisation. Its roots might trace back to the early biological study of trees, their inherent strength derived from growing straight up, vertically, even on sloping ground – a testament to the significance of being upright.

The notion of the right angle, a key element in this vertical paradigm, further adds depth to the concept of correctness. Just as trees stand upright, unaffected by the angle of the ground, civilization adopted this analogy, giving rise to a broader understanding of correctness. The alignment of vertical with correctness introduces the concept of rightness, laying the foundation for its application in various facets of our civilization.

As a software developer I know that this has seamlessly transitioned into software development, mirroring the way civilization approaches tasks. Testing for correctness, a fundamental practice in software development, is a direct extension of this alignment, reflecting how our civilization does things. The adoption of this concept in software development is not a coincidence; rather, it's a reflection of the deep-rooted connection between our scientific understanding and our civilisational ways.

So, the vertical concept, probably originating with the study of trees and their upright growth, has transcended its roots to become a cornerstone of correctness in civilization. Its journey from construction principles to software development methodologies exemplifies the harmonious alignment between science, civilization, and the pursuit of correctness. The vertical concept stands tall, much like the trees it draws inspiration from, shaping the way we build, create, and innovate in the ever-evolving landscape of our collective progress.

In the teachings of Jesus Christ and his earliest apostles we find this concept of rightness, correctness, takes prominence. In particular, we find the righteousness of God is prominent in the outcome of their teachings. Instead of living haphazardly on one hand, or tied to ancient laws on the other, we find a new righteousness is revealed, allowing those persuaded about it to live principled lives with principles of rightness, correctness, originating with God Himself, as brought close to us in the teachings of Jesus Christ and those earliest apostles. If these teachings are taken on board and adhered to, they enter into us as the kingdom of God within. The Holy Spirit continues to bring them to those who are persuaded by the teachings and this is like a well of living water welling up. The Holy Spirit manifests this kingdom of God in meetings of these people and brings it near to those who hear and see the overflow of these manifestations. Thus righteousness from God is mingled into civilisation, as light versus darkness and salt versus corruption, and everyone is blessed.

The Kingdom of God

 The Kingdom of God.

“The kingdom of God is within/among you.” IS - present tense. This is in line with Jesus’ teaching: “you know him [the Spirit] because he is among you and will be in you”. Along the same lines, the kingdom does not come visibly. This corresponds to the saying of Jesus: “the world does not know [the Spirit]”. When the Holy Spirit visits a meeting of believers, the kingdom is among them. When the Holy Spirit visits a believer and then becomes a welling up within them on an ongoing basis, the kingdom is within them. As Jesus told the woman at the Samarian well of Jacob, the Holy Spirit would be as water welling up within believers. It had not yet happened when he said it, but it happens now. It is manifested in blessed, visited meetings right now, on an ongoing basis for some, but even in social media we exchange interactions blessed with it. The Holy Spirit brings the things of the fountain of water on God’s throne of David and gives it to us. The Jerusalem site is not our home any more. This Spirit is our home, his throne of David.  Only rebirth allows someone to see this kingdom of God. You need birth from the Spirit to experience the Spirit. Otherwise it can sometimes be near to you even if it is not in you. To those who heard the gospel preached in Jesus’ name the kingdom was near, even if they did not accept it. To those who heard and accepted teachings of Jesus the kingdom was within them because those words are words of spirit and of life. To those who on Pentecost heard the tongues in their own languages, the kingdom was near. To those speaking the tongues it was among them, within them.

The Lord over the judicial acts of God in the world and among the people of this kingdom is human. He knows the rights and wrongs, the complexities of human predicaments behind the causes of such punishments from God, so he can represent us as he presides over it all, present in the heavens as the heavens pour down floods. He is present in the realms of heaven as heavenly angels are appointed to distribute plagues and punishments with authority God gives them to do so. He presides over it all with mercy and yet his clothes are drenched in the red fluid of the winepress of God’s sovereign wrath. This Lord of justice is Jesus Christ. The same risen lord seen on the shore as his apostles finished a night of vainly fishing and who told them to put down their nets on the other side of their boats. “It is the lord”, they said when they caught a huge catch of fish on obeying him. They knew Jesus is this lord. Some today see him coming in heaven’s clouds, no longer standing on a sea shore. He shows us it is indeed him who is the lord and he is the same Jesus now as he was back then, shortly after rising from the dead. He teaches the same lessons and shows the same righteousness and faith. The kingdom is near. It is already among those who minister to each other by the Holy Spirit, learning from the Lord Jesus this way; Jesus who in turn learns from God.

Gospel song by ChatGPT 3.5

 Gospel song by ChatGPT 3.5

On the shoulders of a heavenly Lord,

Government rests, in justice restored.

Untimely floods and catastrophes unfold,

A hidden lord, a story to be told.

Jesus Christ, the unseen guide,

Presides with mercy, justice beside.

From heavens high to the winepress of wrath,

He's the same Lord, leading our path.

In the face of disease, a plague's cruel art,

Angels appointed, playing their part.

The wicked smitten, a curse to bear,

Yet justice events reach those in despair.

Jesus Christ, the unseen guide,

Presides with mercy, justice beside.

From heavens high to the winepress of wrath,

He's the same Lord, leading our path.

Drenched in red, the winepress of fate,

Yet compassion flows, not fueled by hate.

Understanding the rights, the wrongs we face,

He stands as a symbol of redemptive grace.

Seen on the shore, as apostles fished in vain,

Jesus appeared, breaking through the mundane.

"Put down your nets," his command they heeded,

A bountiful catch, a truth revealed.

Jesus Christ, the unseen guide,

Presides with mercy, justice beside.

From heavens high to the winepress of wrath,

He's the same Lord, leading our path.

In clouds of heaven, his presence proclaimed,

Teaching timeless lessons, faith unchained.

The risen Lord, yesterday and today,

In justice and mercy, he guides our way.

The heavenly lord who is Jesus

The government is on the shoulders of a heavenly Lord. There is a lord presiding over the events of natural justice today: An untimely flood; A natural catastrophe, disease outbreak, a curse smiting the wicked, even justice events like this afflicting ordinary people no more wicked than average but neglectful of the needy. Justice events reach out to avenge the needy. There is a lord hidden from most who presides over these acts of God. He is human. He knows the rights and wrongs, the complexities of human predicaments behind the causes of such punishments from God, so he can represent us as he presides over it all, present in the heavens as the heavens pour down floods. Present in the realms of heaven as angels are appointed to distribute plagues. He presides with mercy and yet his clothes are drenched in the red fluid of the winepress of wrath. Spiritual Gospel Song worded by ChatGPT 3.5

In the book of John, a tale unfolds,

A story of grace, of truths untold.

Believe in Him, the Savior divine,

Hold to His teachings, let your light shine.

Believe and follow, hand in hand,

A dance of faith, across the land.

Discipleship and belief, a sacred bond,

Break free from sin, in His love respond.

Those who believed, in Jesus' name,

Were urged to follow, not stay the same.

Discipleship blooms from the seed of belief,

Together they bring abundant relief.

Believe and follow, side by side,

In His teachings, let your soul abide.

For faith without deeds is an empty plea,

Together they lead to eternity.

Discipleship without belief is dim,

A flickering flame, a vision so grim.

Belief without discipleship is weak,

A voiceless faith, unable to speak.

Hold to His words, let them guide your way,

In discipleship's embrace, darkness will sway.

Neither alone can set you free,

Belief and discipleship, the path to victory.

Believe and follow, in unity,

In His love, find sweet serenity.

For freedom from sin, and life anew,

Belief and discipleship will see you through.

So, let your heart echo the truth,

Believe in Him, in the days of youth.

Follow His teachings, walk in His light,

In this sacred dance, find eternal delight.

Christology clouded by Western thinking

The expression of will, the plan, the creation of a personality with a set of attributes, can exist as an entity, as a spirit, and it is possible for this existence to be animate, living. While this is true, those with Western thinking tend to reject concepts associated with animism, yet in doing so, they suppress a certain amount of truth about existence, ontology, spirit: how a set of characteristics, attributes, properties, can be a living spirit. The spiritual existence of the Christ came into existence before any thing else. God brought it about. This spirit of Christ, the predetermined attributes of what Jesus Christ would be, was spoken into existence by God as first of all the works of God and creation of all things followed on from this. All this long before the Christ came in the flesh, the Jesus Christ in history and today and forever.  This spirit of the Christ there in the very distant past before becoming flesh was in some mysterious way a living entity. This is very mysterious and Western thinking clouds understanding of it in the cultures influenced by the West, where concepts of what exists and what is alive are restricted in a way that clouds the truth.  The Word became flesh, but this is clouded by Western thinking.

The Christ spirit

I think every being has a set of characteristics. Some have a negative, impure set of bad characteristics. Demons have especially impure characteristics, properties of their existence. Their very existence came about by bad events very much against the will of God. We could call the set of characteristics of a being its spirit. Everything which defines the being, characterising it, you could call this the spirit of that being. When a being is directly brought into existence by the sacred, elect will of God, when God choses personally for that entity to exist, and the set of characteristics of that being as a result is very good, then we can say that it has a very good, pure spirit. The Christ is such a being. God chose that there would be a Christ and chose all of the characteristics of what that Christ would be. God personally caused the spirit of the Christ, the set of characteristics defining the Christ, to exist. This means it is exceptionally good that this Christ is what he is. God determined it personally and did so before He determined anything else and made the spirit, characteristics, defining properties of this Christ the basis for everything else He created and planned and determined. So the spirit of this Christ although not preceding God Himself, does precede everything else and everyone else. So although this Christ is not God Himself, he is greater than everything else, while God Himself is greater than him. That is why the Jews hated Jesus. He made himself similar to God by identifying as this Christ and Son of God and therefore identified as greater than everything else almost like God is greater than everything else. Similar enough to God but not actually as great as God, but so similar that by truthfully confessing himself to be this Christ, this Son of God, it resulted in the Jews thinking he was blaspheming. They tried to stone him when he stated it truthfully and plainly. They knew what he was saying. They just did not believe it was true and instead were greatly incensed by it, because it seemed like blasphemy to them. Indeed if it were not true, claiming it for oneself would be blasphemy.

The gospel eliminates sin

Sin is behaviour devoid of principles (laws). So once the word of God is set within you, you do not act without it. You let it influence your behaviour, therefore you are no longer behaving without good principles (sinning). The message of the cross of Jesus Christ hardly needs words to convey its meaning. It is sometimes simply presented to us as a depiction of a cross. It nevertheless speaks into us a message that God has seen our deepest need for some good principles to live by. He has reached out and met that need at huge cost to Himself, the body and blood of Jesus His beloved son. The principle is inserted that needs of others should be met by actions from us to meet those needs and that God cares enough about us that He helps and will teach us. When we believe it, we find there is a Holy Spirit sent from God in Lord Jesus’ name to teach us by powerfully working within us. When words of teachings do then come to us, they find fertile ground in our hearts. We receive the teachings of Jesus having had our hearts prepared for them like this. We try to understand the teachings and work with others to do so. These teachings make us all the more principled, with heaven-sent principles we find in teachings from Jesus Christ and from the Holy Spirit who persists Jesus’ ministry among those of us who believe. We learn to live by the Holy Spirit’s ministry conveying Lord Jesus Christ’s teachings and beliefs and actions and all things God has given him for our building up together into a temple for God. We learn to put off lies and speak truthfully to each other, recognising we are all together in this. We do not let ourselves in anger lose our principles. We exercise faithfulness in our relationships, in marriage especially. We work hard instead of stealing. We look out for one another lovingly. God’s righteousness and love grows among us. We start to fulfil the will of God and become a people of God, with the risen Lord Jesus as our head. We persist. Principles based on the teachings of God through Jesus Christ His Son become embedded permanently within us. We cease to reject principles such as these and we let our lives be affected by them constantly, day to day. Sin ceases from among us in this way.

No more sinning

Sin is behaviour devoid of principles (laws). So once the word of God is set within you, you do not act without it. You let it influence your behaviour, therefore you are no longer behaving without good principles (sinning).

Enoch's Revelation: Unveiling the Realm of Seventy Shepherd Angels and What it says about Our Times Today

Within the domain of religious and philosophical writings, the ancient Book of Enoch occupies a distinct position. This intriguing text, credited to the biblical figure Enoch, presents a distinctive idea — the existence of seventy shepherd angels tasked with overseeing events that impact the righteous and the people of Israel on behalf of the Lord God.

There are seventy periods foretold which tie in to certain points of history after certain numbers of these periods. From these historic points, it is possible to predict that the final period will last from around 2020 to 2060 AD. This is because the previous periods map well to historic events if the period length for each angelic term of office.

In the last twelve periods, the prophecy foretells that an angel will record more violence committed against the righteous and the people of Israel than in any of the previous periods. The last period is no exception. This sadly foretells such violence in our times.

The good news in the prophecy is that the Lord of the righteous and the people of Israel (the Lord of the sheep, in the terms used in the prophecy where the righteous and the people of Israel are characterised as the sheep) returns at the end of this time. No further angelic shepherds are given authority to preside over them. Then the judgement of these angelic shepherds will begin. Then the righteous and the people of Israel will also be judged like the division of sheep and goats foretold by Jesus Christ himself.

Song for our times (worded as a song by ChatGPT 3.5)

In the land of promise, Joshua led the way,

God's words were clear, but some chose to stray.

"Israel has sinned," echoed through the air,

Incomplete obedience, a burden hard to bear.

Oh, Israel, heed the call,

Listen to the words that still enthrall.

Incomplete obedience, a solemn plea,

Seek out the sin and set it free.

In battles fought, the price was high,

Loss of life, a mournful cry.

God's glory tarnished, the victory lost,

In the shadows of disobedience, the true cost.

Oh, Israel, heed the call,

Listen to the words that still enthrall.

Incomplete obedience, a solemn plea,

Seek out the sin and set it free.

In our days, the message holds,

Incomplete obedience, our story unfolds.

Defeat in battles, a consequence clear,

Seeking out the disobedience, drawing near.

The words of Joshua, a timeless guide,

To redeem God's glory, we must decide.

Find the disobedience, make it right,

In God's forgiveness, we find our light.

Oh, Israel, heed the call,

Listen to the words that still enthrall.

Incomplete obedience, a solemn plea,

Seek out the sin and set it free.

The message echoes through the years,

Incomplete obedience, our deepest fears.

In seeking God, redemption's key,

For His glory, we must set things free.

In the whispers of today, God's voice remains,

"Incomplete obedience," the truth sustains.

The eagle of war soars high above,

A sign from God, a message of His love.

Oh, Israel, heed the call,

Listen to the words that still enthrall.

Incomplete obedience, a solemn plea,

Seek out the sin and set it free.

In our days, the eagle flies,

A reminder from the heavenly skies.

Incomplete obedience, our path made clear,

Draw near to God, cast away the fear.

The eagle of war, a symbol true,

Overhead it hovers, in skies so blue.

God's words still spoken, crystal clear,

Incomplete obedience, we must revere.

Oh, Israel, heed the call,

Listen to the words that still enthrall.

Incomplete obedience, a solemn plea,

Seek out the sin and set it free.

The eagle's shadow, a solemn sign,

Guiding us to obedience divine.

In seeking God, redemption's key,

For His glory, we must set things free.

Spiritual Song (worded as a song by Chat GPT 3.5)

In the days of old, in Babylon's hold,

Three faithful hearts, in a furnace bold.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,

In the fire's glow, where God's grace would show.

Angel of God, in the flames so bright,

Walked with them through the darkest night.

In trials fierce, in the furnace hot,

The same angel guards, forget-me-not.

Nebuchadnezzar's rage, a fiery stage,

But God's own hand turned the fiery page.

The furnace roared, but couldn't consume,

For angelic wings dispelled the gloom.

Angel of God, in the flames so bright,

Walked with them through the darkest night.

In trials fierce, in the furnace hot,

The same angel guards, forget-me-not.

Fear not, oh believer, in trials you face,

The angel of God, in every place.

Just like in Daniel's ancient tale,

God's protection, it shall prevail.

Today we stand, in faith so grand,

Facing trials, like shifting sand.

But the angel of God, ever true,

Guides us safely, me and you.

Angel of God, in the flames so bright,

Walks with us through the darkest night.

In trials fierce, in the furnace hot,

The same angel guards, forget-me-not.

So let our hearts sing, a song of grace,

In God's embrace, we find our place.

For in the furnace or on life's broad sod,

The angel of God, our constant guard.

A song of the Spirit

In the forest where the trees stand tall,

Buds and leaves unfold, a divine call.

By the power in the name of the Lord,

Nature's symphony, a creation adored.

Consider the trees, the planets in their dance,

In the name of Jesus, they find their stance.

Holy Spirit whispers, "Build the temple strong,"

In the night's vision, the Father's voice, a sacred song.

Planets spinning 'round their radiant stars,

Guided by grace, beyond the cosmic bars.

In the stillness, a whisper in the night,

"I am God," says the Father, bathed in light.

Consider the trees, the planets in their dance,

In the name of Jesus, they find their stance.

Holy Spirit whispers, "Build the temple strong,"

In the night's vision, the Father's voice, a sacred song.

Amid the rainstorm, fierce in might,

The Lord Jesus speaks, a voice right.

"Put down your umbrella," He powerfully implores,

And as you obey, the rain no longer pours.

In the tempest, His words command,

Umbrella down, at His voice I stand.

The rain subsides, a miracle so sweet,

In the name of Jesus, storms retreat.

Consider the trees, the planets in their dance,

In the name of Jesus, they find their stance.

Holy Spirit whispers, "Build the temple strong,"

In the night's vision, the Father's voice, a sacred song.

So let the gospel of nature proclaim,

In Jesus' name, creation's endless flame.

Build the temple, heed the divine call,

For the Lord's power reigns, inspiring all.

Christ Jesus, crucified for you

 Christ Jesus, crucified for you

In the shadow of the cross, where redemption's story begins,

Christ Jesus, crucified, took away our stains and sins.

Died for you and me, on that rugged tree,

To reconcile our souls with God, setting our spirits free.

He's alive, risen from the grave,

Guiding us, mighty to save.

Learn from Him, let your faith revive,

For His promise of eternal life, in Him we thrive.

He arose, victorious, breaking death's binding chain,

To keep us reconciled, His love will never wane.

The judge of all, both living and the dead,

In His mercy, let His words be widely spread.

Oh, embrace His teachings, let His wisdom be your guide,

In every step, with Him, confide.

Hold on to the promise, eternal and true,

For Christ Jesus leads us to life anew.

He's alive, risen from the grave,

Guiding us, mighty to save.

Learn from Him, let your faith revive,

For His promise of eternal life, in Him we thrive.

So, let the gospel melody resound,

In Christ's words, eternal life is found.

Keep learning, growing, and stand strong,

For in His promise, we forever belong.
