More Certain

If your scriptures do not include the Book of Enoch you might not understand why Elijah appeared alongside the Messiah and Moses when the Messiah, Yeshua, the Son of Man, was transfigured. Moses, well he interceded and mediated between God and the Israelites because  they knew they could hardly bear immediate contact they were experiencing encountering Yahweh, God. Yeshua, Jesus is like a continuation of that mediation, one like Moses, promised by God. Even greater than Moses and God the Father called him “My Son” at the transfiguration. The Book of Enoch has a dream vision of Enoch called the Dream of Beasts which foretells Israelite history before it took place (Enoch predated even Noah). In it Elijah is taken into heaven, but years later the Assyrians invade Israel and Elijah alive in heaven intercedes earnestly with Almighty God, yet God will not relent of allowing the invasion. Israel was so blind, spiritually. So the three in the transfiguration event recorded in the gospels, as Jesus’ face shone like lightning and Moses and Elijah appeared alongside him and the voice of the Father boomed from heaven “This us my Son, my chosen one listen to him”, these three are the sequence of successive intercessor mediators who plead for Israel and say words from God to them. Now Jesus Christ who knows God as Son and chosen ine is mediator between God and humankind,. The Book of Enoch makes it more clear and assures us to greater certainty.
