To be a follower of Jesus, people must actually follow Jesus, learn his teachings and adhere to them, and keep adhering to them (which is what ‘adhering’ means). Running ahead and not continuing in his teachings results in loss of any fellowship with God. Trinitarianism, Oneness, Unitarianism, all in vain if people ignore the teachings of Jesus Christ. We need fellowship with the Father and the Son.
