The one human who is the Christ loves the One True God who is spirit, and the One True God loves the Christ, His Son. The One True God gives knowledge and wisdom and all things to the Christ. This giving and this love causes the oneness between them. The real oneness between Father and Son comes from the teachings the Father gives to the Son and the steadfastness with which the Son holds to those teachings and lives by them. This is how the Father is manifested in the Son. It is also how the Son is manifested in his true disciples and how that discipleship is manifested in the love between them. It is all about the love: God’s teachings and the love in keeping them.
