Thomas called Jesus his god. But Jesus called the Father his God. The Father will be God over all forever.
The Father is forever the God of all gods, the king above all gods. Even the Lord over all, Jesus Christ, will forever be subject to the Father, his God. Through Jesus we can belong to the Father and have the Father as our God. The Father is the the one true God, even if we recognise Jesus as our lord and our god, because Jesus regards the Father as his God and will forever be subject to the Father, even after all things are made subject to Jesus.
