Potential side effect of expectation of a pre-tribulation rapture could be that leaders take advantage of this idea by thinking they can stir up worldwide troubles, thinking it will result in themselves being raptured before it becomes tribulation, and then the unbelievers will be left to pick up the pieces. Such adherents to this view of the rapture could think they are keeping the faith and obeying the command to speed the day. A word of warning: Getting it wrong and not actually being raptured before things go awry, could mean you are still around to deal with backlash from the angry world when it realises you did this to them. They might sue. Or worse. The day will bring it to light. Christ really will come back after the terrible times and if you are still alive on earth, he might judge you for this. The same will go even for angelic leaders. A lake of fire could be their end too, if they went too far in stirring up trouble. Leaders, angels, voters, they all come to the judgment by Christ Jesus.
