Revelation 6:12-17 tells God’s people that trouble is looming. God gives His word too, that all this surveillance we see is indicative of trouble growing around us because of sin. It is the eagle overhead. The eagle sees prey on the ground. It is building up to serious war and bombings and chaotic strife. Revelation tells us this is because of persecutions of God’s people, and because the world God made is being destroyed. I believe the persecutions are manifested particularly in various divergences of Theology away from the truth given by Jesus Christ’s anointing. These variations are not anointed. Some deny the anointing of the Christ Jesus. In the lead up to the terrible events described in Revelation 6, the close of that chapter, there is a heavenly sealing of faithful ones to protect them from the even worse disasters to follow. Then angels go forth with power to smite the trees, the grass, worldwide, with fire as a first stage of similar literally apocalyptic global catastrophes. We could, it seems to me, be on the very verge of seeing this unfold. Those who are faithful have protection from heaven. Perhaps the protection seals have already been given. Is there still time to repent? There is time but repentance will not be widespread. The anointed Jesus will preside over it, and is alone worthy to open seals triggering it all from heaven. Maybe thirty years or more and he will start to reign it all in to subject all things, all people, all beings except the Father, to himself. He is anointed to do so. Then he will hand the kingdom to the Father and subject himself to the Father, himself and all things and all people and all beings under him, forever. That is his anointing. Then the Father, the one true God, will be all in all forever.
