We do not see in Science today—at least not yet—much explanation of the three-way spiritual interactions between humans, higher intelligence, and Nature. Science is starting to tackle controversial issues such as telepathy, but stops short of including telepathic interactions between humans and higher intelligences: ‘gods’. Maybe future Science will include such things. But there is reality in how God, and other non-biological spirits, and even humans of spiritual power such as the resurrected Jesus Christ, can and do communicate with humans and act with spiritual agency on behalf of humans. If we believe in God, the God who sent Jesus, we can cause effects with such agency by letting God act for us. Jesus taught how this can be achieved by first believing in God with zero doubt, then speaking to Nature with belief that God will bring about what we say. Jesus demonstrated it in various ways: Commanding a storm to stop still such that it obeyed, cursing a fig tree so it withered before the next day, and even bringing dead people back to life by speaking authoritatively to them. He taught that his believers would go on to do greater things still, because he goes to the Father out of sight. So indeed, it is even possible to command not merely a storm to stop but a hurricane to calm down, say from mortally dangerous Category 5, down to something less destructive such as Category 3, and it will do so, if the accompanying belief in God is without tinges of doubt.
