Church leaders together: You cause so much confusion, muddying the crystal clarity of the counsel of God, if you tell people on one hand, from scripture readings, that they must have the Son in order to have life, while on the other hand telling them to adhere to Church Council doctrines and decrees which contradict the very teachings of Jesus Christ himself. The two messages do not mix. Pure gospel teachings tell us the teachings of Jesus must come first if we are to have him and the eternal life that is in him. This must override what Church Councils decree. Otherwise you are depriving your hearers of eternal life. (See 2 John 9).
