The weak point of the Trinity dogma lies in the idea of "same essence," "shared essence," or "one being." This notion can be seen as a philosophical sleight of hand. According to Hebrews 1:3, the Son embodies the qualities or essence (Greek: hypostasis) of the Father. However, if these qualities or essence existed independently within the Son, separate from the Father, they would cease to be a reflection of the Father's qualities. Thus, they cannot be considered "shared" or singularly the "same essence."
