The spirit of morality, its underlying intent, is that we neither abuse, nor suffer it be done by proxy or by agency of gangs on our behalf. We must change. The gangs take advantage of our immoral tendencies. Charitable love for our neighbour demands better. So God honours marriage. Even a marriage not quite right is still more honourable than living by abuse and immorality. God gives marriage to uphold morality among us. We too must honour it as God does: It is the Father who is God and who teaches charitable living by the spirit of what is right. If we abuse, or even if we suffer it being done on our behalf, we sin and incur God’s watchful eagle eye overhead. Such abuse can even be behind these wars we see today. God’s love is still there, and can be relied on to honour our faith in works of His power, as our Lord Jesus teaches. But beyond the miracles, there is still that watching eagle eye. Even Nature honours the name of Jesus and its power by letting the name inspire obedience to God’s ordinances. Likewise we too should let the name of Jesus Christ the Lord inspire obedience and adherence to God’s commands. We don’t. We sin. This goes against us and the wars loom. Fear God. His angel surrounds those who fear Him to deliver them in times of trouble.
