What behaviour in each and every individual leads to final condemnation as described in the Book of Revelation? A drug lifestyle. Violence which involves murder. Lying. Prostitution both male and female. Idolising inappropriate things. Poor moral backbone and a dismal lack of faith and real courage (perhaps using drugs or alcohol as an alternative to actual courage and faith). Really it boils down to the kinds of behaviour we see in the world of vice and criminality, or complicity in them. What answer does the Book of Revelation offer? Jesus: Belief in him and permanent acceptance of his teachings. Where is he? Where are his teachings? He is hidden, except when he occasionally shows himself to one, and not to another. (It depends who loves him by obeying his sayings.) He is alive from the dead, as genuine flesh and bone, but hidden among spirits. His teachings are everywhere in the light of words incorporated into many sayings, such as the ‘good samaritan’ concept, doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, practising what you preach, and emphasis on the ten commandments of not stealing, not killing, not bearing false witness, honouring father and mother, having no other god before God, and the like. Believing Jesus is true light from God for all, means honouring those kinds of teachings and duly endeavouring to put them into practise. He ever lives to help those who in this way make themselves his disciples, and in all this it helps to rid from life those wayward behaviours that lead to ultimate condemnation.
