It seems to me that the Ethiopian church has been especially blessed in that they have preserved a rather unique and special extra book of scripture called the Book of Enoch, most of which, apart from fragments of it, was lost from the West’s churches. Special and a blessing for them because it contains insight into the nature of the Son of Man, the Christ, before he came as Jesus Christ. Here is found the description of the angel-like human-like being called the Son of Man among the angels but before coming in the flesh. This Son of Man being, who God calls His Son, is chosen from all heavenly beings to be set aside and to stand forever in the very presence of God, and thus to help the righteous humans to stand firm, even though angels fall. And all Nature stands firm with him too, enabled by his name. The Holy Spirit says this too, as I have witnessed first hand, which is how I know it is such a blessed book of scripture to have been preserved by the Ethiopians.
