Science and Atheism

Since Robert Boyle a supposedly Christian alchemist (can there be such a thing?) started in seventeenth century England and Ireland the presumably European strategy of turning alchemy into chemistry to sidestep English witchhunts modern science has given purpose and power to atheism. Science was based largely on hermeticist sorcery but witchcraft was made illegal punishable by death so science needed a disguise to gain acceptance by Christians and ironically atheisn provided that disguise because by claiming to be atheists the scientists could deny spiritual aspects of alchemy and sorcery to produce chemistry and modern medicine. This has meant that even Christians who want to get careers in science had to be friendly in a symbiotic relationship with atheists. Atheists got to do science by Christians accepting it and getting it past the witchtrials. Christians got to do science by atheists making science look indifferent to matters of spirit so it looked unlike sorcery. Atheism has prospered ever since. But Wikipedia is here and wool pulled over eyes is getting pushed aside. Atheists beware!

The Good Message

What are the big benefits resulting from what Jesus Christ did when He was here? His name gives clues. Jesus means deliverance. Christ means someone who has an anointed head because he has no need of repentance and has full approval from God to take important office and fulfil a vital work. Because of this, hope is a major benefit from the sacrifice His death on a cross provided. The demolishing of guilt is now possible if you find you can hope for it. The cross death was long known to be payment for sins. This means God needed a sacrifice because of human wrong doings. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross provided this. The subsequent raising of Jesus Christ to life again after that death gives hope because it proves God was satisfied by the sacrifice and accepted it and also because it means God will raise others too, which could be you, and also because it means the work of Jesus Christ can continue - deliverance work. What is the deliverance work? Helping to free hoping believers from ongoing sins and guilt by bringing about a change of status from compulsion to do wrong to freedom to stop doing wrong and start just doing right and keep on like that all through life until purity results. The prospect is therefore very real now of being saintly and adopted by God as a potential permanent son or daughter forever and being made eternal. The hope this can produce in receptive people makes way for growth into loving members of a family of faith along with others like yourself, putting off lying and hating and speaking to eachother truthfully with willingness to admit sin and help eachother get free. To support those who are becoming part of this family God sends the Holy Spirit into their hearts.

Don’t Ignore a Major Referendum

What if politicians and sovereign ruling classes who call themselves Christians or Jews or Muslims ignore the result of a major, high-participation national referendum? Well then this happens; they must be shunned as national traitors (publicans) and as the heathen:

Why trust medics?

Medicine, like other sciences, avoids witchcraft allegations by denying spirits exist and blessings and curses work but true religion says such denials are disinformation. So why should religious people trust medics?

Ebola

EBOLA

The current Ebola virus outbreak in East Africa is doubling every four months. It has reached 1000 already so if it continues at this rate of growth it will reach Europe and USA by mid 2021. The last most major outbreak reached Europe after claiming 28,000 victims in Africa. God very mercifully gave grace to end it when it reached Nigeria, thanks to the power of the blood of the Son of Man to intercede for humanity. Has anything changed since then? There is now more awareness of the need to protect airports. Yet the best protection last time did not prevent a lying aid worker getting through checks. Will the plagues promised to the Babylon the Great empire (Rome’s legacy) now see a new fulfillmemt? Coming out of her and being separate is important to help prevent spread through airports in 2021 to 2023. Ceasing from the guilt of sharing in her sins is vital lest the Ebola spread be deserved and intercession be in vain. God might take this incident as means to counter the destruction of the global environment by the indistrialised countries. Less people means less cars, less pertroleum, less plastic waste, less air polution, less distress and bombings. Will God be so merciful this time around? The Son of Man’s sacrifice prevails but ignoring the truth incurs a cost.

Following the Lamb wherever He goes

Revelation 14:4 “These are they who have not been defiled with women; for they are pure, these following the Lamb wherever He shall go. These have been redeemed out from men as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.”

I always wondered what it means ”following the Lamb wherever He shall go”. Once I thought it means physically where the Lamb of God, the Son of Man, goes, going there physically too. Of course the Lamb is physically mainly in the vicinity of the throne chamber of God as described by Enoch. So no, not physically. You cannot physically go to His actual location. Nor does He allow people to accompany Him when He goes anywhere physically or by spiritual means. No it must mean more a metaphysical following as a turn of phrase, an idiom like when we say in conversation or debate, when reasoning with someone “I know where you are going with this”. Can we follow where Jesus is going today? Yes if we learn from Him as a perpetual teacher and leader: If we let His actions be part of our lives. We can let Him make His workings evident to us and let Him guiide our ways and thinking and as we realise what He is doing we can go along with it and welcome its outcomes and fit our plans to these.

Mutual Feeding

Taking the Book of Enoch to heart you kind of know when the Son of Man comes into the world He and all His deeds were always going to be food for the righteous to live on. So He admitted pointedly (John 6) “My flesh is real food and My blood is real drink”. Yet in Revelation the fuller picture emerges that we who believe Him are food for Him too. What kind of food are we? Easily eaten food is usually served hot or served cold. It is not easy to swallow and enjoy when it is luke warm. You tend to want to spit it out and find a better meal. Here is what He said about some:

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

His deeds are so utterly wholesome we can be thrilled to dwell on thoughts and memories of Him. How thrilling His warmth and the vibrancy and appropriateness of His deeds. What about our deeds? We can focus on seeking that our deeds thrill Him too. He will be feeding on us like He wants us to feed on Him. 

Covenant Drift

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” (From Deuteronomy chapter 6)

The people who know God loves them dearly - those to whom God makes this known - have drifted away from the kind of covenant this love established with them. This problem is not unsolvable. It just takes a well-heeded reminder that there is a way to renew and maintain this love again by setting God’s words in full view where we will frequently see them and learn to obey them and having learned obedience, teach them. What better way to love the Creator who made you than to write words from Him and put them up in your house and use your internet voice to publish them on social media. He has said things of special value to you as an individual if you love Him and you can love Him more by teaching these words to your children and putting them on your social media wall or profile. There are several kinds of commands of God which can be written out for a constant reminder and aid to understanding: 

- the commission kind (such as to build eachother up and thus build His kingdom and temple); 

- the direct kind (such as when He is intending to do a miracle and tells someone what to do to achieve it); 

- the general kind to all such as to love Him and eachother; 

- the truth kind such as when He reveals to us truth and implicitly commands we live by it.

How to love God

What better way to love the Creator who made you than to write words from Him and put them up in your house and use your internet voice to publish them on social media. He has said things of special value to you as an individual if you love Him and you can love Him more by teaching these words to your children and putting them on your social media wall or profile.

The Formula and the Person

THE FORMULA AND THE PERSON

The Son of Man is the healer of souls. He is a person so it is not about formulas alone. It is about the person too - this Son of Man and God who sent Him. What He has spoken and still teaches does include formulas to apply in practice. What His servants teach does include formulas. But these formulas include the Son of Man personally and God the One who sent Him. “Forgive and you will be forgiven” - that is a formula but also a person - God who will forgive you if you forgive others. Healing can come with forgiveness and that too is a formula taught by the Son but including the person who is God who heals. “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed” is a formula and there is the Person God who will heal you. “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” is a formula but involving the One who will forgive us and cleanse us.

John the Baptist

I went a few years ago on a business trip to Rome and was reading the guide book and was surprised to find John the Baptst mentioned in it as a historical famous person. I had not realised his existence was known as fact in the secular world. Then some small bones possibly of John the Baptist were scientifically tested by atheists and found to quite possibly be his. It all helps my faith intellectually because it is just a small step of thought from John the Baptist to Jesus Christ and His baptism by John as an accepted historical event.

The Roman Empire and its EU successor has always maintained power using ‘publicans’. Today we have outsourcing companies for comparison but a more political comparison is becoming apparent in the UK where remainers have maintained EU hold on power even despite a democratic referendum held by the EU in the UK a few years ago.

Bye bye Rome

ROME IS TO BE FORSAKEN 

The Apocalypse wriiten by John says:

“Then I heard another voice from heaven say: ‘Come out of her, my people, 

so that you will not share in her sins,

so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

for her sins are piled up to heaven,

and God has remembered her crimes.

Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup. Give her as much torment and grief as the glory and luxury she gave herself.

In her heart she boasts,

‘I sit enthroned as queen.

I am not a widow; 

I will never mourn.’

Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:

Yet we in the British Isles who believe in God and want to continue as His people with Him as our God are being frustrated by a luke-warm government system and this is of course welcomed by the European masters who are fully united with Rome. Yet we can be separate completely in our hearts and God will see our hearts and make Himself real as our God in daily life until He delivers us. Even if He doesn’t deliver us we will not bow to this Babylon the Great of Rome. 

As Daniel’s friends told the king of the original Babylonian superpower:

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

The Location of God and the Book of Enoch

The Book of Enoch encourages us to think of an actual place with fire and crystals where God is enthroned. It might be inside a real high mountain somewhere visited by Enoch and possibly even known to others who were around at that time, perhaps hearing of it from Enoch. We might struggle with it. A psalm might be translated: “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?” It might be an expression of this struggle to ponder God when the geographical location of His throne is no longer well known. The answer seems to be for the psalmist the same as it can be for us: “My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth”. We might falter to think where the help we need comes from. The answer is to be certain WHO it comes from.

The Millennium and the Book of Enoch

Without the Book of Revelation the endtime prophecies of the Book of Enoch would be obscure and unclear about the Millennium. It is not clarified by Enoch as far as the Book of Enoch is concerned that there will be a time of the Son of Man lasting a thousand years, hence “Millennium”. It is there in the less attested book called Second Enoch. It is most clear in Revelation which has more certainty for many than 2 Enoch, having been dictated and shown to John by the Son of Man Himself. The Son of Man once told His earthly mother “My time has not yet come”. He was being expected by Mary to sort out a bad situation using power to do what nobody else could do. But it was not time for Him to take that crown. It would come later - in the future a time lasting a thousand years called ‘His time’ in which He will put the world to rights.

UK Reconstruction

Now that the UK has quite possibly left the EU legally strictly speaking (High Court might have to decide if that is legally what has happened) it is likely there will be ongoing attempts by the EU to use its ties in the Houses of Parliament to keep up the current antics as long as possible. Getting the UK out of the EU was just the first step. Getting the EU out of UK politics will be tougher. Reconstruction could be painful. We need God as our God.

Leaving London

All the time in Parliaments they judge passing of a law by voting Yes or No. Not Maybe. One vote extra for Yes makes the law the law. Yet when a Public Referendum goes that way all hell breaks loose.

Two Peoples Two UKs

They say in the quantum universe multiple realities exist in the same space and time. So too in the UK. There is a population of those who regard themselves as having left the EU according to the referendum result. Then there are those who do not and think of themselves as still a part of the EU.

Daniel 11:18 “Then he will turn his attention to the coastlands and will take many of them, but a commander will put an end to his insolence and will turn his insolence back on him.”

The Corrupt Bargain

They were lying about 29th Match. What did the Christ say about liars? “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” What does the Christ say now? "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;”

Love God and keep words of God

Words from God - write the words and put them up around the house and teach them to your family

I notice how the command in the Law of Moses to love God is accompanied by commands to write out His words and put them around the house and teach them. This is a perfect way to exercise love for God. So I decided to write down words the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit has given me over that time of visitation in my life. Now I wrote them I notice they look so symmetrical and planned.

“Consider the trees how they put out buds and leaves. They do so by the authority/power of the name of Lord Jesus Christ.”

The first was the Holy Spirit when I asked to receive Him.

The second was the Father when I asked to see Him (in a dream). It resulted in a lesson on loving my neighbours at work.

The third was Lord Jesus out in the pouring rain. The rain stopped as soon as I obeyed.

The fourth was the Holy Spirit in church through tongues and interpretation.

The fifth was a word of the LORD that came to me as a prophecy with a sign.

I wrote them on a whiteboard in my bedroom so I see them every night. They so encourage me and warm my heart towards God.

“Let him who has a dream tell his dream but let him who has the word of the LORD proclaim it.”

“What is whispered in your ear shout from the rooftops.”

Things that existed before the Universe

The Book of Enoch helps to elucidate things that existed before the Universe existed and continued to exist while the Universe was being produced and will continue to exist apparently forever. There was the righteousness and the faith and the authoritative name of the Son of Man and there was the Ancient of Days Lord of Spirits His Father and there was the Son of Man Himself and there was the Spirit. These were all in existence before the clock of cosmic time started ticking. They transcend time therefore.

What does the knowledge of ancient history found in the Book of Enoch mean for interpretations of findings such as the Lascaux painted caves? The Book of Enoch tells how Azazel introduced to humans the art of using pigments for painting and analysis shows it was around 3500 BC and archaeology shows it was the exact same kind of pigments as were used in the caves of Lascaux. The Book of Enoch also shows that the main science of the calendar were likely introduced by Uriel and taught by Enoch (Enmendurana) around 3000 BC. The caves in Lascaux in France show pigments used to skillfully paint dots and pictures of animals which are believed to represent a working calendar. The understanding gained from the Book of Enoch implies that either these cave paintings were painted long before 3000 BC but not by descendants of Adam (Adapa, Alulim) or they were painted after the 3500 BC introduction of pigments and possibly after the 3000 BC introduction of the accurate calendar.

A Modern Hermon?

Do the events on Mount Hermon and God’s response recorded in the Book of Enoch foreshadow the 17th century alchemist Robert Boyle’s introduction of the revolutionary idea you can dress sorcery up with religious arguments to make it look acceptable to Christians? Boyle’s influence for the following centuries till today has drawn millions of Christians into the practice of arts formerly considered to be magic arts. So we have modern science. This was done against the knowledge that in Revelation both God the Father and Jesus say with assurance of its truthfulness that all sorcerers will be cast into the lake of fire.

The Healing Son of Man

We need tp be set free from bad attitudes and ways which enslave us and the Son of Man does this but we need to let Him do it and this means we need to trust Him as He does it. If a doctor or nurse tries to lance  a badly infected sore to relieve the pressure and let out the poison we need to let them do it by trusting them and as they advise us how to keep the wound safe from getting worse we need to trust them and keep in mind what they said and carefully do as they advise. The Son of Man similarly needs our cooperation and trust as He deals with our enslaving sins and the Holy Spirit and servants of His do the same. We need to trust the Son and let Him guide our ongoing treatment and healing process. We need to trustingly keep truthful records of His words. The gospels record His words and we need to also keep in mind what He continues to say and the Holy Spirit continues to pass on to us. He sends people too: We need to receive them if we are sure they are coming faithfully in His name and we need to have the attitude that says “Blessed is he who comes in His name”. This faith is essential to get the healing we need from our bad ways. The faith we need can be given as God opens our hearts to the fact that the death of the Son of the cross was an act of God’s genuine desire to see us cleansed. The powerful acts of God in our lives strengthen this faith and can be depended on much better than philosophical dogmas. Believe the Son can save and heal and trustingly recieve it from Him, now and throughout your life.

Dominion by the Holy Spirit

The Apostle Paul noted in Romans 8 that a new dominion had arisen among believers. No longer were these people sovereign over their own lives nor slaves to a system of the power over lives of the human nature. The Holy Spirit comes into the lives of true believers known by God and brings His dominion with Him that can dominate their lives. Look inside a church of true believers and look at the Holy Spirit occassionally becoming manifested there. This presence and instrumentation there has power to dominate not only the proceedings but also the ongoing lives of the believers after the assembling is dispersed. Each recipient of such grace takes that grace away with them to ponder but it is not only pondered conceptually but it takes over aspects of the recipient’s life. This continues through the years and should really never be fogotten or abandoned. God does not take on temps. His children are permanent. Satan on the other hand does not give holidays or vacations. He keeps his servants as slaves. So to be set free from Satan’s enslaving ways we should welcome the domination of the works of the Holy Spirit in our lives once we believe in the Son of Man. 

Why the Book of Enoch is not in the Bible - Revisited

It seems to be that the Parables were actively removed from the Book of Enoch around 50 AD because they proved the identity of Jesus of Nazareth. Concurrently the original content of the Parables were being preserved in general knowledge orally. Perhaps there were not enough complete written copies of the Book of Enoch to make it feasible to canonise it when around 100 AD canonisation started.

Death of the god

When looking at analyses of archaeological religious finds from the time of Enoch (3300 to 3000 BC) and later textual developments of beliefs from that time you often come across the idea of “Death of the god”. Interestingly Wikipedia articles about this fashion of analysis show it was common a century ago but has been debunked more recently. The analysts took stories such as those about goddess Inanna deacending into the Underworld which seem to come from the time of Enoch or at least relate to that time and they characterise them as part of a supposed religious theme continuing right up until the death and resurrection of Christ and feasts like Easter. However the idea of there having been such a theme through religious history has been debunked because tales such as those about Inanna descending into the Underworld are not a matter of the death of Inanna who as a goddess or high angel is considered immortal. It goes to show that in studying the archaeology of Enoch’s time and analysis of it we need to look at how that analysis changes over time. It is often tinged by ways of thinking in other areas of society such as higher criticism of the nineteenth century. Fortunately such trends go just as they come and taking a long term view of archaeological trends can sometimes sort the chaff from the wheat. However the feast of Easter does have parallels between Christian and ancient Mesopotamian beliefs at its heart. It seems to be named after Inanna by her later name variant Ishtar. It occurs at the time of year of the feasts of Ishtar. It looks at how the cycle of the dying and rising sun in winter then spring has a lesson for our lives that death or descent into the Underworld is not the end but a beginning of another phase when the dead will return for this new phase. The philosophical religious leaders of the Roman Empire saw fit to merge the message of the Christ entering into death and rising from it into the existing ancient feast. Yet these two stories on closer analysis are distinct. Christ is not really a parallel of Ishtar. He died as a sacrifice for sins as the cross of Christ and its ancient meaning shows. He actually died a mortal’s death having become flesh first. His resurrection is a literal event involving the miraculous returning to life of dead body tissue which therefore gives hope to mortal humans everywhere. Inanna or Ishtar on the other hand merely entered the Underworld while alive and was ransomed from that state of imprisonment there by her human consort’s death. Yes there is redemption by death in both stories but they are not parallel.

Temporary Life versus Eternal Life

The final small section of the Book of Enoch though short and kinda tacked-on is perhaps the most challenging and tough to read and take in because it captures the essence of our human existence and the course of our individual lives. Here is an except which shows life might seem like science can prolong it but it is temporary and a trial run for something greater for those who pass the test but for those who fail there is a wait and then destruction.

Book of Enoch 108: 

“4. And I saw there something like an invisible cloud; for by reason of its depth I could not look over, and I saw a flame of fire blazing brightly, and things like shining mountains circling and sweeping to and fro. 5. And I asked one of the holy angels who was with me and said unto him: 'What is this shining thing? for it is not a heaven but only the flame of a blazing fire, and the voice of weeping and crying and lamentation and strong pain.' 6. And he said unto me: 'This place which thou seest--here are cast the spirits of sinners and blasphemers, and of those who work wickedness, and of those who pervert everything that the Lord hath spoken through the mouth of the prophets--(even) the things that shall be. 7. For some of them are written and inscribed above in the heaven, in order that the angels may read them and know that which shall befall the sinners, and the spirits of the humble, and of those who have afflicted their bodies, and been recompensed by God; and of those who have been put to shame by wicked men: 8. Who love God and loved neither gold nor silver nor any of the good things which are in the world, but gave over their bodies to torture. 9. Who, since they came into being, longed not after earthly food, but regarded everything as a passing breath, and lived accordingly, and the Lord tried them much, and their spirits were found pure so that they should bless His name. ”

Fellowship and Healing

In our life journey we need to find healing at times and yet we also primarily need to be pure as we hope in the Son of Man. We need purer healing than the world can offer. We need the healing of the name of the Son of Man according with the will of God. A major asset we should cherish is fellowship with at least one other believer. Fellowship in the struggle to live purely and do away with this life’s wrongdoings and unworthy behaviour and the love of satifying our human desires while ignoring God’s warnings. Finding one or more close allies with whom we can mutually be frank and honest about ourselves and our wrongdoings is an important blessing to be cherished. In confession to each other there is both sincere fellowship and healing. With true confession can come true forgiveness by God and with forgiveness true healing and health.

God Speaks to All from Mountain Tops

God speaks to all from mountain tops not just to denominations and groups with preferred sets of scriptures. God’s people are everywhere so He gets His messengers to go up high to proclaim the messages He gives them. The signs are up high for all to see not hidden away in a dark corner. People should all quit boxing God in. He is not anyone’s chattel nor a member of their denomination or group nor a proclaimer of anyone’s creed. Lovingly put His own words first. He has said far more than is in any denominational Bible. Jesus said “Judge for yourselves what is right”. He has more to say but people are not ready for it. God does not say any denominational or sectarian doctrines are the whole truth. Love God and what God does say. His people of faith should quit sinning, love the One Most High God, love one another and seek greater unity, humbly worshipping God together. 

The Temple

There is a temple for God comprising people. If the Son of Man adds you to this temple then He is built up by you being built up because the Son of Man comprises the temple’s corner stone. He is built up and glorified as you are built up and you recieve some of that glory. If He heals you and you are part of this temple then He is healed too. God Himself is glorified by the building up of His Son as God is in His Son and His Son is in God and when you are part of His temple He is glorified in you too and you in Him. So this kind of unity with His Son leads to sonship. It involves removal of negative qualities inappropriate in a son of the Most High God and the Son of God gives warnings to get rid of such negative qualities so sonship can begin and He sacrificed His body and blood so such sonship can begin. Then He works with each one who heeds Him to bring about this sonship which needs to be perpetual to be worthy sonship.

What Kind of Being is the Son of Man?

What kind of being is the Son of Man? A very kind and powerful human being who rightly and justly holds the balance of power in the universe on behalf of human beings, who existed since before time. Utterly trustworthy. This being once became fully human by birth and then as a young man provided for all humans a sacrifice acceptable to the Most High God - by dying on a cross symbolic of a payment of mankind’s debt for sins. Then God made Him the first human to rise as an immortal human after dying and rising again. So now He can live as mediator for us all with the Most High God who raised Him. What a man! What a God who sent Him!

Hominids

Archaeology and paleontology has uncovered the existence of hominids which are not quite homo sapiens in ancient times many thousands of years before recorded history but in recorded history we have writings about such beings living alongside humans. One such being is recorded in the written accounts of the Epic of Gilgamesh dating from 2300 BC onwards and he is key to the events in this account. The hero Gilgamesh encountered and befriended a hominid named Enkidu who was not related to any human but was known to be a separetely created humanoid person created the same way as Adam (Adapa or Alilum as the people then knew him) out of the dust of the ground by gods. So this hominid as we might call him was living alongside humans after the flood and was known by name and part of the main history of that time and the following thousand years. Other known, named hominds are more mysterious still and evidenced both in written history and in prehistory. In written history they are distinct from what are biologically known as homo sapiens and are called in various cultures gods or angels in English or Anunna or Anunnaki in the language of those ancient times. In prehistory they appear in archaeology as humanoid figurines and also as what some call reptillians - humanoid figurines with features slightly reminscent of reptiles, especially their eyes. One being who is more mysterious still is a human being called the Son of Man who Enoch wrote about at length who did not live on earth but away in the dwelling place of the Most High God. This term Son of Man is thought to really mean human being. So there was a human being who was not related to other human beings in the time of Enoch but was a hominid uniquely produced by the Most High God before the world began and lived throughout the ages. Later the prophet Daniel wrote of the same person and later again the wondrous Jesus (Yeshu) of Nazareth identified Himself as the Son of Man and taught “Before Abraham was born, I am”. All very wonderful and mysterious.

To All God’s People Everywhere

When words of God Himself came to me in  a vision it was with the heavenly spiritual instructions to shout it from the mountain top to love God with heart, soul, strength and mind and therefore with all the voice given you too. If you are so inclined then look it up in your scriptures to check it is true, but, when you are convinced it is of God, write it out and lovingly put the words up at home and teach them to your kids and family that God says that “Israel has sinned” and must love God and must voice God’s words. The signs God is serious about this are the mass surveillance everywhere and rumours of wars and the war mongering. God speaks to all from mountain tops not just to denominations and groups with preferred sets of scriptures. God’s people are everywhere so He gets His messengers to go up high to proclaim the messages He gives them. The signs are up high for all to see not hidden away in a dark corner. Quit boxing God in. God chooses who will represent Him faithfully.

Spontaneous Generation

The archaeology of Enoch’s time and documents such as the Book of Enoch and extant texts of documents found later concerning Enoch’s time (possibly written in Enoch’s time) all support the existence in the time of Enoch and before him of a man named Adapa who had no parents but was an actual creation. We know him as Adam. This was a man with a real story coming down to us preserved in history. The story recorded of him is that he was a ruler for some time ruling mankind in general in Stone Age times using one of the first human cities Eridu as his base and throughout his very long lifetime running a temple there and fishing to supply fish for the tenple and the people there. He passed on his throne to a successor and so started a dynasty that was to last a thousand years from 3700 to 2700 BC. His people called him a sage, one of seven great sages during his lifetime including Enoch as the seventh. So this shows the very real possibility of an example of creation of a human person in history without the involvement of biological parenthood. Spontaneous generation brought about by the action of spirits we call deities, especially by the one overall Spirit mankind has ever since believed to be the highest Spirit, who we today call God. In texts such as the Epic of Gilgamesh it is recorded that other beings were similarly created such as the wild man Enkidu. So the existence of hominids in the fossil records might have explanations other than evolution. Adapa might be the one from whom we all descend but others might have been created through the time of the planet of whom Adapa was just the most godlike and intelligent.

You Owe it to Yourself

You owe it to yourself to find some way to discover, to encounter a great and truthful spirit who exists today called by many the Holy Spirit or the Pure Spirit. Finding this awesome being myself in the nineties opened up a whole new chapter in my life because of what He revealed through His supernatural ways in a church gathering on the outskirts of my home city. He communicated to all those in the meeting but made it especially clear to me who had been seeking Him that something was true which nobody had ever made clear to me before and as a result it had a knock on effect to me finding out things which astounded me. There is a book I discovered in a bookshop which at that time was little known but it had in it just the kinds of things that this Spirit had communicated so I found myself believing the book was the product of this Spirit too. This led to amazing conclusions and I started a website about it which led to starting facebook groups and sharing my research on the book with others. Together with others we grew in improved understanding of the book (the ‘Book of Enoch’) and learned not just the astounding truth of our human race and where it came from and where it is going but found how true this all is. Now after twenty years I am compelled to certainty that the Spirit who started my quest is utterly honest and profoundly knowkedgable and of truly good will. You do really need to find this Spirit too.

Crosses and Exorcists

There is a Sumerian cuneiform writing symbol more than five thousand years old and it sheds light on our human existence and condition. It is thought to be pronounced MASH. It is a cross or plus symbol. 𒈦 (https://lnkd.in/d-ic5bY). Three crosses 𒈦𒈦𒈦 means exorcist. One means sacrifice for the sake of peace and reconcilliation. Hence the Son of Man crucified was for our reconcilliation with God. Having been crucified and raised the Son becomes mediator with the Father and healing for many.

Our Human Potential

Human potential is huge if you look at Adapa’s ability to “break the wings” of the South Wind. Human’s are given such potential by God to parricipate in future development of creafion. Yet it is by following Christ that a person can best be propelled towards that potential. Christ who displayed such ability in calming a storm by spoken word. Spoken word will be how He will defeat the Beast and restore kind righteousness. Righteousness and faith meet in His actions which are always according to God’s pleasure and formed in Him by God’s providence. So the idea we can achieve potential without Abrahamic religions might be theoretically feasible but in practice is unrealistic and dangerous. He teaches “anyone who believes in me will do what I am doing” and “if anyone had faith and does not doubt in his heart he can say to this mountain ‘move and throw yourself in the sea’ it will be done”. His teaching and the way He Himself practices what He teaches enables us to be as Adapa was and Christ was. So nature will adapt to such faith being part of its future as more of us speak to it and it obeys and its future is forged by God working in Christ and Christ working in us. Other winds will have their wings broken. In the will of God. Neitzsche saw this and saw the dangers too since when we sit on the roof with Christ and command nature with Him we are in danger of falling off the roof into madness like Nietzsche fell into it. We cannot do anything without Christ but can do so so much with Him. We can walk on water in a storm but sink if we doubt and another danger is forgetting righteous kindness that He shows in His weillding of faith power. He was weak like us and weakness and proneness to madness and wickedness is our baggage we carry with us. He has now lost that weakness but was perfected with it. He guides us forward. We can partake in God’s nature through Him and become sons of God in the loss of ability to sin. We will stop sinning permanently by following Him into all truth and freedom from sin.

Enoch and the Geonim?

I confess I do love a comic hero movie now and then and some great ones are being made these days. There seems to be a never ending source of inspiration for comic heroes and it might be that Enoch foresaw one period of heroes in his future and our past who would be the elect geniuses called the Geonim. Enoch saw a group of chosen ones would be given great learning by heaven such that they would start to see nature and the Creator with seven times what normal humans can grasp and they would appear in history between 350 and 1050 AD which is when recorded history tells us the Geonim formed the Geonic Academies in Babylon. (Enoch 93:10 “And at its close shall be elected the elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness, to receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation”)

[11. For who is there of all the children of men that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled? And who can think His thoughts? and who is there that can behold all the works of heaven? 12. And how should there be one who could behold the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a soul or a spirit and could tell thereof, or ascend and see all their ends and think them or do like them? 13. And who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them? 14. Or is there any one who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and where all the luminaries rest?]

EA (ENKI) and the Book of Enoch

There is a word used in ancient writings which might wrongly be taken to mean a deity: EA or in its Sumerian version ENKI. It appears in texts some of which might have extremely ancient origins so it might have been a word in use in Enoch’s time yet did Enoch ever mention it? Does the Book of Enoch translated in various languages, but not available in languages of the time of Enoch, ever mention concepts which might be Enoch’s use of this word EA or ENKI? The word ENKI appears to be composed of EN and KI. KI is possibly a word meaning Earth but might have originally been KIG so it is not clear what significance it has in ENKI. The part of the word EN means lord. Some say the actual original word might have been E-A meaning house of water (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enki) which seems plausible given the strong associations between EA and Eridu, capital city in earliest times of the Sumerians and workplace of Adapa. Sumerian is ENKI and later Akkadian is EA. The mention of EA or ENKI in the ancient text of Adapa and the South Wind, perhaps originating with Adapa himself and perhaps originally predating or contemporary with the Book of Enoch original texts, speaks of advice given to Adapa by Enki which led him to grave disappointment even though it seemed very wise. The concept of upspringing water is linked to Enki along with wisdom. There is perhaps a possibility Enki is the word given to wisdom which comes as what we would call flashes of inspiration or just inspiration in general. So Inspiration might have over time become personified and eventually thought of as a deity, much as is done with Wisdom in Eastern thinking and Justice in Roman thinking. Enoch did enphasise wisdom and heavenly inspiration as like a well of water springing up within the righteous. Jesus later developed this applying it to the Holy Spirit. Is Enki the Holy Spirit? Enoch too wrote of springs of water as a parable of the Holy Spirit and of other spirits which might be good or bad. One other (sad) consideration might be that in those times after the fallen angels taught diviniation, divination drew on invocation of spirits for inspired counsel and the source of such counsel was collectively called Enki or Ea. Enoch did write praise of God that God “fills the earth with spirits”. These spirits might have given the inspiration to prophets and been thought to inspire outcomes of divination too. Even in the Mosaic Law much later which on the whole condems divination, divining by priests was allowed within strict controls where only the Urim and Thumin could be used and only by designated priests. Later still the first apostles cast lots to divine God’s appointment of a replacement for Judas. Balaam might have used divination in his prophecies and even his donkey once became a kind of mouthpiece for divine counsel. So the Adapa and the South Wind text might hint at such counsels as being considered inspired or from heavenly origin wisdom as being collectvely ascribed to Enki (Ea). Another possibility is found in the two Sumerian names for Enoch: Enmendurana and Enmenduranki (the names for Enoch used in the Sumerian King Lists). Ea could be an abbreviation of Enmendurana and Enki could be an abbreviation of Enmenduranki. So it might be that Enki/Ea is Enoch. 

What is the Abzu?

The Sumerian texts such as the Epic of Gilgamesh often refer to the Abzu. It seems to be underground or deep geological water. Sometimes it is philosophically or metaphysically associated with wisdom. It is also a place of refuge. It has supernatural connotations like the Greeks had about the River Styx: it has a ferryman, for example. Maybe it was known to the Sumerians such as Enoch (Enmenduranki) that deep down in the earth’s crust or deep under high mountains there are geodic holes in the surrounding rocks filled with water and salts and often superheated by magma with which they come into contact. These holes can become lined with huge crystals like massive versions of the geodes sold in geological specimen and semi-prescious stone shops and tourist shops. The Epic of Gilgamesh mentions Noah (Utnapishtim) being given refuge in the Abzu. Perhaps it is that supernatural power can be given people (even without the need of their death) to survive within such a massive water-filled chamber. Enoch’s description of several places has resemblance to such chambers after water is largely removed but leaving the crystals in some cases and sometimes with water running through like the River Styx. The dead reside in some such chambers and God in another. The philosphical nature of the Abzu on the other hand might be that it can be a parable for our inner wisdom and psyche. Take the saying ‘Still waters run deep’. This might explain in part why it is associated with wisdom and perhaps with EA or ENKI which might be personifications/deifications of wisdom like we see in the book of Proverbs. Enoch too associates wisdom with water from deep within: a saying alluded to by Jesus extending it to the Holy Spirit. Inverting the parable helps in understanding how a human might survive in the geological Abzu if placed there for refuge: just as wisdom within wells up like water inside a geode of the inner being so wisdom might well up within the literal Abzu to sustain the soul placed there. This comforts the soul constantly. For those dead souls or spirits in the special (Paradise?) place of the dead which unlike the others is refreshed with a river of water there might be this constant flow of comforting, sustaining wisdom.

Both the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees offer a heavenly perspective (if you believe them) but Enoch looks forward while Jubilees looks backward. So together they provide a stereo view. Enoch looks forward at the future using heavenly tablets of planned time. Jubilees uses heavenly knowledge of history to look back on what happened but the events are those foretold by Enoch and the heavenly tablets. Putting them together means focusing until they both align. Then you get the heavenly perspective in stereo with double certainty. Then the future comes into view. No wonder the Jews held them both in high esteem by including many copies of each book together in Qumran among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The author focused the two timetables of history, the Book of Jubilees abd chapters 93 and 91 of the Book of Enoch, nto one to look into the future too. The focusing required assuming a jubilee is 50 years while a week in Enoch 93 and 91 is 700 years after which it all comes into focus and alignment and the full ten weeks including our own future comes to light.
