The Book of Revelation tells of the Lamb slain before the foundations of the world. God can see all of the future. He could put in place future events and see that they happen. He could see it and predetermine it all long, long before the events actually take place. Therefore spending six days doing this to bring about this world, He could have spent those six mysterious periods of His mysterious time long before the events actually occurred in ‘real time’. It is mystery of course. Yet faith based on the miracles of God, and the majestic, time-spanning working of the Holy Spirit can be a first step towards understanding such things. The actual unfolding of the events could take place over millions of years, yet be determined and planned and set in progress long, long before in activity by God spanning six of God’s days.
