If Armageddon started soon, nobody would be surprised. Many would think it quite warranted. That is exactly why it cannot happen now. Ezekiel says it will happen when Israel has been living in peace for quite some time, harming nobody, and so at that time there will be no warrant for it. It will be wholly undeserved when it happens. If it happened right now, it would be a very different matter. I would think of it being thirty to thirty-five years away. Long after the current conflicts have settled and peace has reigned. Of course, there will be a time between now and then when the Beast Empire rises, and this will affect Israel greatly, but still a time of peace will precede the real Armageddon.
