There is one true God who will forever have absolute sway over every being, every person, everything. Kings come and go. It is not normal for a king to reign long enough to have absolute sway over all aspects of everyone’s lives. Normally only an immortal being could do this, ruling more and more for thousands of years, even controlling this king and that king, as kings come and go, but this being carries on consolidating power generation after generation, kingdom after kingdom, empire after empire. This ought to be the one true God doing this, but His subjects have not given Him their obedience. They therefore fall under the sway of the chief immortal opposition leader, to whom they become subject, at least until the one true God changes things. That day will come. In the meantime, this opponent, this antagonist, is in control. This opponent is God for this time. The time is soon when this opponent, this God of this age will cease from power. He will be kept out of power completely, while every person and every being and everything is placed under subjection to a man, the Lord. This Lord is immortal having been raised from the dead, having died, having been crucified for the sins of his people. This Lord will be in absolute sway because the one true God will give him power over all until it is all subject to him. Then this immortal man, this Lord, will be God for a long time. When a thousand years of this comes to a close the opponent will be released and try to revert everything to himself, but will fail and be deposed forever by the man, the Lord. Then this man, this Lord, will hand over all power to the one true God and even himself become forever subject to this one true God. He will rule forever but in subjection to the one true God. He and the Father will rule from the Father’s throne.
The one true God is the Father.
The opposer we call Satan.
The man, alive forever from the dead, this Lord is Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father.
