I really do believe scripture points to Armageddon being thirty five years away, as of 2024, in other words around 2059/2060. There is a very ancient prophecy, which by my interpretation of it, foretells 2800 years from the Assyrian conquest of Samaria until the start of the reign of the Christ. (Enoch 89/90 *). This points at 2060. (* Note: the Book of Enoch is scripture in my faith, as it is in Ethiopian Orthodoxy. I respect that most USA Christians are rooted in the Puritan faith. This was largely ignorant of the Book of Enoch when they crafted the Westminster Confession in which many American beliefs are rooted.)
