Now that Jesus is immortal, he is just decades away from beginning his millennial reign, during which the Father will gradually subject all things to him. In that time, it will be hard to view him as anything other than God, though not the Most High. Only the Father, the one true God, will remain the Most High forever. Jesus will have authority given by the Father during the millennium and will eventually hand over all authority back to the Father and remain subject to Him eternally. Yet, even then, they will reign side by side on thrones forever. The Father alone is the one true God, the Most High for all eternity, though there will be that time when Jesus will truly have authority as God.
