Christianity will get clouded and become a dark place because nobody will want to hear anything actually true anymore. Lots of people will have lots to say which will be what they think each other wants them to say. They will form groups where they can hear what they want to hear. American “City on a hill” aspirations will become nonsensical. Meanwhile, anyone who wants to escape all this and live a truly godly life will get grievously persecuted and over time a certain number will be killed and in heaven will cry for vengeance. All this time the world will get marred, ruined, destroyed by the human race. The end times will go eventually into a new phase when vengeance is carried out as God destroys those who destroyed the world. Before this new phase starts, a terrible cataclysm will be unleashed on everyone that will send great and small running to bunkers and caves. Then a new power will emerge as Iran and Iraq through to the Balkans consolidates as a coalition that paves the way for a terrible leader and a global dystopian system which will be a test to everyone, sorting out the ungodly from those who want to live truly godly lives in Christ. Then the end will come: a big war converging on the Middle East against the godly who will be saved from annihilation by the return of the Christ, the Lord, Jesus.
