God lovingly saves. But we have to listen. Listen to God? What like listen quietly in case He speaks quietly? Well, no. Not exactly. Listen to the Christ teachings given to the whole world as the main light of our age, set up for this from the beginning, and now here in reach of all of us. The Good Samaritan lesson. Known around the globe. The Sheep and Goats. The Lord’s Prayer. The meek inheriting the earth. We can all go look up what Jesus taught. Then there are teachings of those he sent. Faith without works is dead. Speak truth to one another, those who are members of the Body of Christ. It is all Christ. It is the whole ethos of what Christ brought into the world. Light. We must walk in the light. It shines not only in words in scriptures. It shines in genuine manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the lights which are true churches full of true disciples of Christ. His Body. This Holy Spirit shines out teachings and gifts from Christ, given by the Father. In these things we can learn to love the Father and the Son, know them, keep their commands in order to lovingly obey them, building up others who do the same, all in love. This light then leads to truth. Truth is a pearl of great price. Truth can be known secretly and known corporately. It frees those who know it. This saves us. God saves us. But we must listen. Listen to the Lord Jesus Christ His beloved Son, in whom the Father is well pleased.
