Addressing the USA Bible Belt

Whilst I am not a Puritan, nor Puritan-rooted, nor a believer in the Puritan’s sola scriptura, which I find too paradoxical, nor 66 book canon, I love scriptures, including, for example, the Book of Enoch, which is scripture in my faith, as it is in Ethiopian Orthodoxy. If I quote scripture, it might be the Book of Enoch, 2 Esdras, etc. I respect that most USA Christians are rooted in the Puritan faith. I thoroughly recommend reading the Book of Enoch and taking note of how closely Revelation aligns with it and echoes its words, especially given that it predates Revelation. A star falls from heaven in Revelation. Well a star falls from heaven in the Book of Enoch, but the Book of Enoch gives explanation of what this means, so clearly Revelation expects the reader to already be familiar with the Book of Enoch because Revelation does not explain the meaning. It expects you to know what it means by a star falling from heaven, or many stars falling from heaven. Of course, many will need lots of time to assimilate the Book of Enoch. Plus, it will for many become apparent that other such books around in the time of Jesus might be important to know. Give it years. It took me twenty. I started in the nineties. But this would work out nicely because the Book of Enoch indicates, if you work it out by careful examination, that we have twenty years or thereabouts before the real central times of Revelation, beyond the sixth seal, begin.
