God, Jesus, and the Spiritual World – Simple Version
- God is supreme. He is the most powerful being in the universe. Angels and spiritual beings exist, but they serve God and do His work.
- Jesus shows God’s love. God sent Jesus to teach, help, and save people. Following Jesus is a way of following God.
- Prayer and worship are for God. Jesus shows us how to live, love, and obey God every day.
- Living like God wants. Loving God, loving others, and following Jesus’ example keeps us close to God.
Talking with Others:
- Jewish friends: Agree God is one and powerful; gently share that God works through Jesus too.
- Trinitarian Christians: Emphasize God’s unity: Father, Son, and Spirit working together; focus on love and following God.
- Pentecostal Oneness believers: Respect Jesus as God; also explain God is above all spiritual powers.
Bottom Line:
- Live your faith through actions: worship God, follow Jesus, and honor God’s creation. Actions show God’s truth even more than words.
