“The eagle overhead is the sign.” With increasing surveillance and digital ID talk lately, some think it is easiest to disappear off the Internet. A lot of us oldies might soon disappear from the Internet anyway just by doing nothing and paying nothing—once our now ancient free email accounts and other free services reach their limits. No point paying a regular fee for continuity if it merely creates problems for executors when we pass away.
