Consider the birds

“Consider the birds of the air…” Lord Jesus Christ has a name given him by God. It is a name of special meaning and huge significance. Jesus means Salvation. Divine salvation is the divine act of delivering us from evil. Even in Nature, there is divine deliverance from perils which are always there, and the divine deliverance is always there to counter them. The birds, though able to fly to escape dangers, are still vulnerable. God who gives them their wings also gives them food. It is there for them all around them, as insects and seeds abound on land, or small fish are abundant in the sea. God sees. God sees to it that there is provision for the creatures He sees wherever there is life. It is His very nature to save. He cares when humans destroy habitats and environments of the planet He has made. He will save it finally from humans one day. How? By wrath against the masses but salvation of the ones who believe in the name given by God to Jesus, His Son. His Salvation. Believe in God’s power and disposition to save. See how Nature is governed by it, in every way. Winds blow at times so very strong, but are divinely governed to not blow too strong, because that name of Salvation is there behind the governing. Food grows scarce at times, but still that name is there to save. Jesus summed it up like this: “Consider the birds of the air. They do not toil or sow, yet still their heavenly Father feeds them.” He said: “God sees every sparrow which falls. Are not you worth more than many sparrows?”. “The very hairs of your head are numbered.” God’s governance is everywhere, and all things it is God’s nature to save those He has made: He who named His Son ‘Jesus’, translated “Salvation”. Believe on that name.
