Teachings necessary for living in The Way

The Lord Jesus Christ revealed to his apostle, Paul, that the Law of Moses and Jewish circumcision is not needed for acceptance by God and learning the righteous way of life God teaches. It is faith in Jesus and the message of Jesus Christ dying on the cross and rising from the dead for you which is needed. The teachings which came into the world when God sent Jesus are needed. The heavenly commandments are needed. Love towards God and towards our neighbour is needed. By this love we teach the next generation. The way of life taught by Jesus, provided by God, is characterised by major corrections needed to how we tend to live naturally before we learn the way of Jesus. It is not about believing Judaism and Jewish beliefs about God which are needed but it is about truth found in the teachings of Jesus when holding to them with belief in him. Truthful speech is vital. Jesus puts into a body of united believers those who follow the teachings he introduced. This body means speaking truthfully to others in this same body. The Holy Spirit comes from God into lives of the members of this body to create a unity like a shepherd branding every sheep in the flock. The Holy Spirit is given like a branding given to each sheep. Living in this unity means no need to lie to each other. It is no longer appropriate. Live by this truth. Then there is anger management, which follows from learning how Jesus sees hatred and murderous intent which comes from it as traits of the Devil, not of children of God. This means each day ensuring we do not enter the night hours with angry intents, and each day prayerfully forgiving the wrongs people do to us, so that God in turn will forgive us our wrongs against Him. Then there is adultery, which is a tendency if we have not learned the teachings Jesus brought to lead us to be faithful regarding marriage. His teachings on this matter steer away from wrongdoings of this kind which can lead to disaster in the course of our lives. He taught that divorcing the partner in cases not necessitated by unfaithfulness of the partner must not be followed by marrying another or it is adultery, but also it forces the partner into adultery too. Then there is the need to stop any stealing, and learn to replace it with honest work to provide for needs, both our own needs and those to whom we ought to be kind, who truly need it. These are main teachings on how to escape wrong ways of living so we can have life given by God, which can be forever. Learning from Jesus can take us into other aspects of such life too. The Holy Spirit guides the way. The teachings given by true apostles of Jesus guide the way.
