Looking at a building site, there might be many workers, and those who wheel around sand in a wheelbarrow, and tip the wheelbarrow out, so that others can in turn pick up the sand with spades and shovel it to where it is needed, the wheeler of the wheelbarrow might just do that one task, while others do different tasks. But each one does the task allocated to them. Just because they do not shovel around the sand where it us needed, does not mean the wheelbarrow worker is any less a worker. They do not abandon their assigned task thinking it is not enough. I watched such things today on a building site. It reminded me of my own task, assigned me by the Holy Spirit vision given me long ago, to tip out all these things, so that others pick up on some of it and relay it in their own work. Each one does their task. They do not abandon it to do another person’s work, or try to do all the work. It is best to focus on their allotted task. Building the Temple, in my case, does not for me mean doing every task it involves, but being faithful in what was allocated to me.
