Return of Christ 2050/2070 AD

This 2070 AD is the reference point used for the other years - given by both 740 BC Assyrian invasion of Israel and 722 BC Captivity in Assyria (hence two alternatives for all dates given) and Enoch's Dream of Beasts and adding 2800 364 day years for seventy 40-year terms of rule by angelic shepherd over Israel.

Another Verification of time of Second Coming of Christ from Book of Enoch

More confirmation of the second coming being near: the dream of beasts (Enoch 89 to 90) says that, around the time just after the Assyrian conquest of Israel, God commanded there be 70 tenures by angels as shepherds over His flock, Israel. The tenures seem to have a fixed length (Enoch 89-90) and seem to end at the coming of Christ which is before the Judgement and the Judgement needs to be around 3050 AD if you take the weeks of Enoch to total 7000 years. Jewish traditions affirm this and both Jewish and Christian prophesies say there is a millennium of rest before this judgement so the millenium must start before approximately 2050 AD. Therefore the end of these tenures is likely to be around 2050 AD. There is now very encouraging confirmation of the way this fits together because it makes the fixed tenure period 40 years which scriptures say is the length of reign of both kings Saul and David and Solomon so a significant period in God's purposes. Then all the more emcouraging is that this lets us hone that timing approximation of the time of the second coming of Christ: Starting 2800 years (364 day years or 2790 modern years) after Assyrian conquest of Israel - which was 722 BC - so approx 2068 AD. (That is provided these shepherd angels were appointed to start watching over Israel at the time they went into captivity.)

My Angel

I once saw an angel and it looked like an exotic animal with wings (larger than a jungle fruit bat or flying squirrel) and clearly intelligent - not what I expected an angel to look like but similar to a gargoyle but real like any jungle exotic creature. I think it was a vision but real - spiritual like seeing a ghost. I was so scared of it. Like I said one of its wings was covering the eye facing me which I would orherwise have looked into. In terror I started trying to drive it away I think by preaching to it that Christ was crucified for us humans. That worked. I didn't know if it was good or bad but later was ashamed thinking it was sent to encourage and protect me cos I had be scared to preach to take souls from Satan in case he didn't let me get away with it lightly - thinking this before I went to sleep. It was there sat on my chest when I woke up! I have a hunch it was a guardian angel looking after me. So since I had been a bit anxious Satan might get nasty with me for trying to poach his kids using the gospel, I think I was allowed to see my guardian angel to console me. The Pre-existence Puzzle

If Daniel 10 to 12 is Jesus before His incarnation speaking to Daniel, have those who read and accept Daniel but not Jesus actually been listening to Jesus all along? If John wrote Rev 1 and his vision of Jesus along same lines as description of the speaker of Daniel 10-12 - clothes, hair, eyes, voice - then it is possible Daniel was listening to the pre-incarnate Son of Man. So the Jews reading Daniel in their synagogues might have actually been listening to Jesus.
Proof?
In Daniel 7 there is described one like a Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven and led to the Ancient of Days and all power given to Him (7:13-14), this Son of Man represents ordinary saintly people of God because what is said of Him in 7:14 is interpreted in 7:27 as applying to the saintly people of God. Note: hence He is Son of Man because He represents human saintly people of God with respect to heavenly things; in 8:16 the one with a voice like a man commanded Gabriel "Make this man understand the vision ..." (see Note above) and Gabriel obeys (no archangel is higher than Gabriel); Gabriel speaks in the rest of chapter 8 then much later speaks in chapter 9 so some might be forgiven thinking it is him again in later chapters too 10-12 (although some say it is Michael which makes no sense because Michael is mentioned as a separate person a few times). But in chapter 10 the man speaking is described in verses 5 and 6. The game changing revelation about who this is in chapter 10-12 and that it is the same person as in chapter 7 is given in the Book of Revelation chapter 1 where the exact words of Daniel's lengthy description are used to likewise at length describe Jesus.

Advice to those who have read the gospel of John and want to know Jesus

If you have read the Gospel of John and you want to know Jesus then here is a piece of advice - if you have read John 14 - in John's gospel are commands and teachings to meditate on and to do as much as you can and to prepare to do in future - how about you have a go at obeying all the teachings you can obey with proper understanding (patiently waiting to obey others when understanding comes) then take the promises in John 14 to heart and earnestly ask Jesus to actually (when you know you are obeying where you can) show Himself directly to you and that God visit you too - like in the promise He gave in verse 21:

"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

and also ask earnestly that the Holy Spirit too will be shown to you and given to you like in verse 15-17

"If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth."

This is what you need deep down in a way scripture alone cannot give - it is the right thing to do:

John 5:39-40 "You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life."

The Resurrection

God created all things and did so sovereignly but the equally sovereign act of God, the Father, was to resurrect His Son. This means all the beneficial effects of this are God-made too. We might look inward and see hope in our lives having come about directly because God raised Jesus. Consider these God-made benefits which His sovereign act of resurrecting Jesus has produced in us. Jesus came to die and be raised by God and this resurrection changes things and changes us. God the Father changes us.

Almighty God - the Father - sent Jesus to die to become the resurrection by God's own doing to make believers whose lives are transformed by this resurrection and by believing it has happened - so these who are so changed are changed by God the Father with nobody else intervening - they are made by God the Father Himself what they become as a result of this resurrection. The words of Jesus transform them too in this same way because these are words from the Father so they cling to these words and those of the Holy Spirit and acts of the Holy Spirit so they stay children of God as Jesus frees them from their sins - and keeps doing so forever. The resurrection was how God made His family - past and present and future. Jesus had to die for this to happen. This is how people are born again - not from human biology but from the very work of the Father Himself in raising Jesus from the dead. The truth of this resurrection sets them free.

What 'Born Again' really means

Besides plenty of teaching from Jesus in John's gospel about being born again where people inheriting lying and murdering tendencies from Satan start instead to inherit ways that come from God - Peter too gives input:

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"

This seems to me to mean the hope we get from God by His raising of Jesus from the dead - it is direct influence by God on so many lives as the effects of His raising of Jesus touch upon so many lives improving hope. So the sense it is a God-made event means its impact is God-made and the hope it gives us is God-made. So we ourselves become God-made to the extent that it influences and changes us.

For me the witnessing of a miracle opens my eyes to what produced the resurrection and therefore makes me born again by the resurrection becoming real to me. (I had a bad burn on my finger while sitting in church and the pain stopped me concentrating on a sermon about "say to this mountain move and do not doubt and God will make it move" so I commanded the bad painful burn blister "Go!" and the pain instantly went and I kept my eyes shut until the sermon was over then looked and the blister had vanished - healed. So thinking on it I realised it is the power of God in creating and also in raising Jesus His Son from the dead.)

Don't live by the Flesh - Live by the Spirit

I think I know what it means to be driven by the flesh - when I get influenced too much by appetite and feelings like anger and lust and self-protecting fear. What is not so clear - probably because I let the flesh drive me too much - is how to let spirit and the Holy Spirit be what drive my will and actions and words and thoughts. Clearly loving God with heart and soul and strength and mind is a lot of it - letting such love (some say loyalty to God - loyalty is a good word) drive me in heart and soul and strength and mind. I get it that the commands in the NT are mainly Holy Spirit inspired so letting these drive what I do and say and think must be important in this. 

Decyphering Enoch's Ten Week Prediction

Given the usefulness of the Book of Jubliees in helping decypher the ten week foretellig in the Book of Enoch by Jubilees providing a chronology resistant to error and similar to the Enoch ten weeks in the use of wimdows of time linked to major holy events this to my mind explains why both books were prevalent among the Dead Sea Scrolls. It also suggests to me the people of the time had the full ten week passages available to them.

Genesis and Jubilees gives a key to decyphering the Enoch 93/91 ten weeks foretelling of the Judgement time.

The key is that Enoch was born just less than 700 years - around 622 years - after the creation of Adam. He said it was in the first week but "seventh in the first week" implies the seventh "day" of that week - the seventh century of the seven centuries after Adam. This leads to a seven century week. So altogether it is spanning ten seven-century periods. A seven thousand year period.

Using seven centuries as a week and using the second temple construction as reference point while seeking best fit (not necessarily perfect fit) with key events and approx dates for them does give a starting point of 3900 BC or thereabouts. Then adjusting further to get all the clearest events to match what is feasible from known history such as the giving of the law to Moses and the time of Abraham you get a better fit for events like the creation of Adam and start of first week as around 3950 BC and therefore the Judgement as 7000 years after at around 3050 AD but using 364 day years as Uriel and Enoch instructed gives 6980 normal modern years and therefore a creation of Adam around 3940 BC and Judgement around 3040 AD. Then checking how the other weeks fit with history it all works nicely. The temple built is indeed the Second Temple. The plant of righteousness is Abraham. The ascending man is Christ. The burning of the house is the destruction by Titus and Vespasian. The apostasy is around 300 AD. The blindness is that of the Jews who said they could see in defiance of Christ. It fits well. This gives confidence the dates are right. Any later and the law is to late. Any earlier and the Judgement leaves no time for a millenium reign plus the second temple is too early. Different week period makes no sense either - it fits well with a 7 century week.

Chapters 93 and 91 of Book of Enoch plus some comparable historic approximations give these years of events through history leading up to future Judgement:

What I believe

I hear it often said or implied or commented that in this life we cannot be free of sin: We need to wait to be perfected after this life ends. I believe this is utterly false and horrendously misleading. I believe the lie or misconception comes from being over pedantic about what it means to stop sinning and be truly saintly. I believe there are some sins we must be freed from and repent and stop doing and this does not mean never ever doing in the slightest way but realistically quitting and no longer being defined by such sins. I should not lie but now and then I might tell myself something that might be false just to see whether it sounds false and to help myself think what the truth might be instead. Yet being truthful at every opportunity keeps me from forming a lying habit. I believe I cannot do this alone but need one man in particular - Jesus Christ alive forever - and the body of believers in Him who can be led by the Holy Spirit to help me quit sin and keep from returning to it. And I need to learn the ways the Holy Spirit leads me (and others) to live in order to please Him and not be taken over by untrustworthy lusts and cravings that lead to sin. All this must be now - starting as soon as possible - and needs faith in who Jesus is and that He was existing since before the Stone Age and will ever live into the future to save me now and then and always even after I die and after Judgement Day. God has no temporary saints. The Father has no temporary children, only permanent ones who in the main have ceased from sin and stay that way, kept by His Son,

Geology of the Noah Flood

At the time of the Flood they called this vast deep underground ocean Abzu

and Genesis indicates it was this that flooded the earth and Enoch foretold it would first fill a basin of a circle of mountains around Sumer and then breach the mountains - so the world might have been devastated then by an unsupassed tidal wave killing animals everywhere and humans along with them - according to Enoch's foretelling of it it would have happened around 2650 BC which agrees with the flood deposits and archaeological layers of Tell Fara - Shuruppak, capital of Sumer at the time, and agrees with Sumerian King Lists which say Kish became capital city of Sumer after it. The flood layer in Tell Fara doesn't prove anything about how widespread it was because only mud built over is preserved. 

Archaeology of the Noah Flood

Shuruppak and Kish are crucial cities for understanding the archaeology of the Flood. The Flood (Noah's Flood) marked the end of the Jemdat Nasr Period settlement of Shuruppak (Tell Fara) and start of the first dynasty of Kish. It dates to around 2650 BC. Those two cities are very important. They happen to both be subjects of the oldest extant translated cuneiform major texts known from the Fara Period - the Temple Hymn of Kesh (probably pre-Flood Kish) and the Instructions of Shuruppak. The latter actually mentions the last pre-flood king of Shuruppak mentioned in the Sumerian King List - Ubara-Tutu (biblical Methuselah the son of Enoch) plus it mentions Ziusudra - Noah. It does not mention the flood because it seems to not yet have happened when it was written. So these texts verify the Sumerian King Lists as at least accurate just before the Flood. There are other finds verifying the King Lists after the Flood. So this makes it rather likely they are accurate about the Flood having happened and having affected secular events by transfering kingship of Sumer from Shuruppak to Kish. It all fits.

If a baby is born today, how old might it be when it has enough evidence to be sure Christ is alive from the dead?

Many insist on proof being necessary before they believe Christ rose again. Evidence must be out there because some do believe it but how long does it take in life to come across it and believe? I think there is enough I've found now for me to believe. I believe He is certainly alive - alive in the sense He is active out there in public and also in private to make Himself known to those who love Him. Believing He died and rose from the dead is probably there in my heart's beliefs too. This mainly comes from evidence John the Baptist really lived and that he preached about the Lamb of God pointing at Christ. Christ surely therefore did die and must have died on that cross as historic witness statements in gospels attest. So put these together and yes He rose from the dead. But it has taken decades for me to acquire the convincing evidence. Have I just been slow? How long should have taken?

The Way it is

God is under pressure from humans and angels to get rid of horrendous behaviour that escalates to outrageous levels. Torture of the innocent to lethal unthinkable levels leads us to scream out for justice and God cannot ignore that. So when God says time is up on such things there is nothing to do except to destroy those responsible - which might mean me and you if we persist in certain kinds of behaviour. Christ is an answer for some who can be persuaded to love God and listen enough to Jesus to pick up the message and stop those kinds of behaviour. But most hate God and ignore Jesus or distort His teachings. Even 'Christians' and 'Messianics' and 'Muslims' do - many do. We see that a lot online and it is foretold.
But it is not enough to simply stop doing those things if we might go back to it in the distant future. God wants to make permanent saints who will never need destroying ever. This is only possible through the Christ, the Son of Man who has always done right and has  proven He always will. He can make people stay like this. His great sacrifice makes it possible to go this way.

Salvation and the Kingdom of God

Salvation is the discipleship which Jesus calls true. Then truth can set you free. First you believe Jesus is the One who was with God from before the world began as He Himself said and He will be son eternally of God, the Christ forever. You believe Him and start to hold to His teachings and continue with permanent commitment (perhaps getting baptised). Once you start to settle in to discipleshipand put sin away and salvation begins, at some point the Holy Spirit works in you and actually manifests that He has entered you. Then His dominion over you takes effect. Then you have entered the dominion of the Holy Spirit - the kingdom of God. You learn to live by the Holy Spirit instead of by trusting in your lusts. You learn to stop denying the Holy Spirit. This is what you need to complete your escape from sin and enter righteous living instead of sinning and your salvation is becoming complete - if you keep on in that way until the end - which you can only do with Jesus rooting for you - even after this life and throughout all eternity.

Behind the Scenes of Salvation

Behind the scenes of salvation, (the best desciption I have found is John 8), the person being saved believes the statements of Jesus about Himself existing even before the birth of Abraham and having God fully working in Him and therefore being able to permanently keep saving a believer who holds to His teachings. They quit sins where they can but behind the scenes while holding to Jesus' teachings the Lord Jesus Christ starts saving them by freeing them from every damning serious sin (such as adultery, lying, murderously hating, etc). The Holy Spirit at some point enters their life when they have become Jesus' as He frees them and they learn to let the Holy Spirit lead and dominate their lives in Jesus' name. This becomes permanent and Jesus keeps saving them like this and protecting them from attempts by Satan to sway them, just as long as they keep holding to Jesus' teachings and believing Him in what He has said.

To be a Christian

Believe and understand what it really means that Jesus is the Messiah - that He existed before Abraham was born and is not only sent to judge but to save too. It is He who rids you of the sins that damn us so you need to hold to His teachings so you are His disciple so He will do this. You will need to believe that He did die on that cross but was raised to life again and lives forever having been dead and now alive and immortal. So He is alive to save His disciples by freeing us from our serious sins. So He was loving to God and obeyed God even dying to satisfy God's will and showed Himself worthy to be called a true Son to God - and God showed He accepted Jesus as a true Son by recognising this loving obedience and raising Him from the dead. These things you certainly need to believe to be a true Christian disciple.

Why I believe in God today

I always believed the stories of Jesus I heard as a child but between childhood and my thirties I used to have to think when I woke up each morning to persuade myself God is real. I thought it should not be like that so I longed to have evidence I could remember and prayed often God would show Himself. As I got older I learned He comes to those who obey the teachings of Jesus so I did that and prayed earnestly. I knew I was called to preach yet hardly knew about God really. Then God the Father appeared to me in a vision like a dream at night in my sleep and said "I am God" and told me things that showed His love for my fellow people and predicted things that would happen the following day to show me this love and how He saves people from bad outcomes and it all happened just as He said. The dream was in answer to my prayer to see Father and Son and Spirit. It was more than a dream because God Himself was personally interacting with me. Months before I had been given another vision when asking earnestly for the Holy Spirit and to know with certainty that I had been given me. The vision was a bucket of building sand tipped out in front of me and words like subtitles said "Build the Temple". I asked for threefold confirmation and at a church meeting three messages were given by members: three little girls had written a song that went "Build, build, build the Temple. Build, build, build the Temple. Build, build, build the Temple" A man with a guitar who often spoke and sang preached about David being told his son would build the Temple. Another man then spoke about building the Temple. So this vision was a very real event to me. So later said to God I would preach to build the temple that is His believers - building up by His word - but I needed to know Him so I was not speaking without knowledge. That is why I asked to see Father and Son and Spirit. Then after God came in the dream just days or weeks later (mid January 1995 I think it was) a torrential rain storm period hit locally and flooded rivers and I read in Psalms how the Lord presides over floods and we should "Come and see the works of God" so I went to stand on a bridge near home and watch the flood water and rain. I had a big gold umbrella up because the rain was torrential. As I came back up the road a 'voice' only I could hear but clear as crystal with tremendous certainty and assertive authority said "PUT DOWN YOUR UMBRELLA". As soon as I did so the rain stopped so suddenly not a drop hit me. I said "It is the Lord" and remembered the way the disciples said this after the resurrection. Asking Jesus to prove it was Him I later at night asked for a dressing gown I had never used hanging on my bedroom wall to come off the nail by the morning and then went to sleep. In the middle of the night something or someone got into the hiddenmost depths of my mind and made me wake up and get up. As I did I reached for the dressing gown and took it and suddenly remembered my sign request. This made me perceive Jesus so clearly and the fact I had asked to see Father and Son and Spirit made me certain God regards Jesus as His Son: Not just a son, His Son. That is what I had asked and what was being shown me. Then weeks later I was taken to the church where for the first time I was given interpretation of a message in toungues that went: "See the trees how they put forth buds and leaves; they do so by the power of the name of Lord Jesus Christ." So now I had certainty who Father and Son and Holy Spirit are and was set on a path following them into all truth. I found very similar words in a forgotten book of scripures called the Book of Enoch and got lots of comfort and knowledge reading it. A little later I wanted to preach in a church that let anyone preach or 'share' so as I had a bath to get ready a voice suddenly said with a vision together with it "Israel has sinned; this is the sign" and I saw an eagle with a white eye overhead looking down and the vision showed me wars and terrors on the ground while it surveilled from up high. The vision said I would see such things as a sign. Immediately on TV as I got ready for church I saw US spy planes sent out (this was mid or late nineties I think) and a new police helicopter surveillance service just being started and later we had wars and mass surveillance appearing everywhere unheard of when that word came to me. So God is now very real to me but I love to think back on those things whenever I can.

Ancient Cosmetic Palettes

Palettes. Cosmetics were being used from the time of the Early Dynastic Period of ancient Egypt before 3000 BC and this is especially evident in archaeology by finds of cosmetic palettes used to hold and apply cosmetic pigments such as for coloring the eye lids. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmetic_palette The cosmetic technology of pigments and palettes and the culture of how to use them in beautification seems to have been introduced first to a group of sheep-keeping, hunting people living in Egypt from early times up until the time their culture changed to what archaeologists Pre-Dynastic. The earlier culture is called Badari by archaeologists and historians after a main archaeological site named el-Badari. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badari_culture  Comparing this archaeology with the Book of Enoch accounts we see evidenced here the spread of the teachings of Azazel among the early people living in the area we now call Egypt. These had been simple shepherds, goatherds and hunters but they started suddenly using sophisticated technology such as chemistry of pigment production and fine art palette carving. They changed to become culture archaeologists and historians call Pre-Dynastic Egypt (made popular today in the film The Scorpion King portraying its sophisticated sorcery and weaponry).

The Checksum

Why God hid the Son of Man? It seems God does this in order to provide a suitable judge, He keeps the person hidden away and set apart from corrupting influences and ties that would hinder judgment and then at the right time God brings out His judge. In this provision of a judge God also may provide a person suited to sympathy because of having experienced the same experiences as those who will be judged. So the Son of Man is especially suited to judging humans and all the more so when God made the Son of Man flesh and blood. The first time the Son of Man came He explained it was to testify to the truth and for salvation but that God has given Him the authority to judge because He is the Son of Man. Indeed God could have sent Him only at the end of time to only judge but sending Him before the very end allowed a time of salvation. The Book of Enoch too has been hidden so maybe this book has a place of judgment given by God and in truth and salvation. It is being brought to light now perhaps to allow us to judge the teachings of religious groups and the veracity of interpretations of scriptures from which it has long been set apart and to save by rescuing interpretations from becoming too destructive and corrupt. In accounting IT we call this function a checksum which is created at the beginning of data preparation then hidden and passed to those who receive the data to compare with the data sent to them to confirm whether it is valid data. If it is invalid then attempts can be made to retrieve the valid version.

Parables of Christ

The Parables of Jesus Christ are about the Kingdom of God which is the dominion of the Holy Spirit once the Holy Spirit came from God. Having the Holy Spirit and having Him in charge is the "pearl of great price".

Hope or no hope?

In John 8 the Lord spoke to Jews who did not believe in Him being "before Abraham was born" and warned them they will die in their sins. Then halfway through the chapter it says what Jesus continued to say to those who DID believe and it was here He started to speak of being made free from sin by Himself

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So there is no hope given by Jesus of freedom from sin for those who do not believe He is the Son of Man who existed before Abraham.

What is the Trinity Theology?

The Trinity theology was an attempt to overcome problems with Jesus being described as a god because He said He is Son of God. First there is the polytheism problem - "Have no other gods before Me" is the command. Then there is the humanity of Jesus. Trinity theology tried to say Jesus is not just human but is also a god but not only that, He is the same god as the Father - in some philosophical sense He is The God. This gets around the charge of polytheism and the command to have no other gods. Then they tried to find verses to back that up. But actually this was not the answer Jesus Himself gave to the problem when the Jews presented it to Him. His answer was that He is only a god in the sense any mighty person can be called a god. Meanwhile He consustently taught His disciples to regard only the Father as the one true God.

The Cross of Christ

The cross of Christ means God is committed to bringing sinners to become saints so much that to free the believing sinners from persistently sinning He provided a sacrifice so they can put their sins behind them knowing God is doing the same (and can rightly do the same). Once this truth is known to a believer in Christ who still struggles with a persistent sin but holds to Christ's teachings (with a mind committed to fully obeying them), the believer is animated by the hope that God will provide a way out and Christ will work powerfully to free them. So their heart is opened and the Holy Spirit enters and truth enters and the power of God teaches and enables them to put aside that sin and practise right behaviour instead. It is the truth of the cross of Christ that facilitates this by giving hope that their sin can surely be dealt with and God will help and has paid their debt to allow this freedom.

Evidence of Angels

Enoch truly received instructions about the heavens from an angel who knew astronomy we only know in recent times. (Uriel, the Book of Enoch says, was the angelic authoritative guide to the stars and sun and moon in relation to the Earth.) This is evidenced in the Book of Enoch chapters 72 and 73, First the sun is somehow known to be greater than the moon and the moon smaller than the sun: 72:4 and 73:1. Then the size of the circumferance of moon is of the same order of magnitude as the circumferance of the heavens (sky) or in other words the Earth itself: 73:2. Thirdly what is most obvious then and now the sun and moon subtend the same angle so they look the same size to the eye and this is acknowledged in
72:37. The third fact would be obvious to Enoch but only in quite recent history have astronomers known that the moon is actually much smaller than the sun and a similar size to the Earth.

72:4 "And first there goes forth the great luminary, named the Sun, and his circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and he is quite filled with illuminating and heating fire."

73:1 "And after this law I saw another law dealing with the smaller luminary, which is named the Moon."

73:2 "And her [the Moon's] circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and her chariot in which she rides is driven by the wind, and light is given to her in (definite) measure."

72:37 "As he [the Sun] rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal."

Equinox

Relative day and night lengths listed in the Book of Enoch might have changed due to 'precession' and latitudinal changes caused by precession. It is Equinox for the Middle East latitude on March 20th in 2018 but not for all other latitudes apparently. Also the day and night lengths of a year for Enoch would have been different in different parts of the world. But not only that, it all changes gradually over time. The axis of the Earth gradually moves. They call it precession. We might be able to see where and when the Book of Enoch was written by the list given of day and night lengths and how they change through the year.

Human Logic

What pervades the world today? Social media - in cyberspace, the airwaves, our minds, our routines, our lives - but although it used to be classed as information and data (bytes and words and facts and fictions) we are starting to realise it is far more human than that - our humanness is filling our world like never before - emotions, fears, prides, joys, hatreds, loves, hopes, aspirations, plans, wishes, likes, dislikes, friendships, links, careers, skills, all human things filling cyberspace - now it is all logic - subject matter, logos, mind stuff and substance of what we are - yet all very very human - so the universe contains it but it does not need the universe to exist and it even existed before the universe in the person of the Son of Man and in recorded history of the not-too-distant past became flesh. 

The Human Man for Mankind

Angels and heavenly beings and human beings can be called people and sometimes translations of scriptures call them men. Many are man-like as distinct from a serpent-like or gargoyle-like being and there are angels who can appear like men. So if you see one you might simply say you saw a heavenly man. Yet the Lord before He was made flesh was called Son of Man or one like a Son of Man which implies He gave impression to those who saw Him (those blessed by God such that God gave them sight of Him) were somehow aware He was more human than angels who appeared human. This is what Jesus meant it seems by explaining He is this Son of Man - He existed since aeons past but more human than man-like angels so He is a man for mankind: The human man for mankind. 

True Flesh and Blood

When the Son of Man was made flesh He was really flesh - such that as He grew up even His own family did not believe He was anything more than a boy and then a young man - yet later one of His younger brothers Jude after His resurrection could quote Enoch and know Enoch was prophesying about his dear brother - and Lord.

Worthy of the Resurrection

The resurrection is only for those found worthy of it. To be worthy people must be clean. Clean of persistent sins. They must have stopped sinning so they have not died in their sins. This means first believing in the true nature of the One who frees from sinful enslavements - the Son of Man who existed in heaven as Son of Man before even Abraham's time, before even Adam, and was seen as the Messiah and died obediently and lives forever to keep people permanently free from enslavement to sin. Then it means holding persistently, constantly and permanently to the teachings of this Son of Man.

The Fourth Man

Just who was the Fourth Man in the Book of Daniel?
The Book of Daniel mentions two of the topmost angels, Michael and Gabriel, who can appear like men and Gabriel speaks to Daniel the prophet and Daniel records what is said in the Book of Daniel in the Bible today. But who was speaking to Daniel in the last two chapters of the Book of Daniel and appeared to Daniel by the river Tigris? Some say Gabriel but there was this one like a man earlier speaking to Gabriel (commanding Gabriel). If you say Michael it cannot be because the person speaks of Michael as another person. It seems, in writing the Book of Revelation centuries later and after the resurrection of Jesus, John was inspired by the Holy Spirit in showing this fourth person to be the Son of Man - Jesus (in Heaven over aeons before He was made flesh by the Holy Spirit). This puts a new light on what it means that Jesus is the Messiah.

To make it more certain we see two places in Daniel where there is this fourth man - the above mentioned passsges from chapters 7-12 (where there are three - Daniel and Gabriel and Michael - and then a mysterious fourth who is the one who is also led into the presence of the Ancient of Days) but also in chapter 3 where the fourth man again appears in the firey furnace of Nebuchadnezzar alongside Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

Hear o Israel

It seems the Jews today are looking for a Messiah who can be called the son of David but they do not want to call Jesus that. I guess the cross might have something to do with that. If they believe Jesus is The Son of Man who was seen by Daniel and Enoch it will all make sense to them (John 8). I think it comes down to who was speaking to Daniel in the last two chapters of the Book of Daniel and appeared to Daniel by the river Tigris - some say Gabriel but there was this one like a man earlier speaking to Gabriel - it seems in writing Revelation John was inspired by the Holy Spirit in showing this person to be the Son of Man - Jesus in Heaven over aeons before He was made flesh by the Holy Spirit - this puts a new light on what it means that He is the Messiah - they need to believe this - we all do.

In the name of Mashiach - if you believe Mashiach ben Joseph, Mashiach, Messiah came 2000 years ago - you should be persisting His name - continuing His name - keeping His words - that will be your salvation - irrespective of the letters that tokenise the word used to refer to Him - no, His reputation, power, the authority of His teachings in our lives - the same authority by which nature itself is persisted and was created

Messiah ben David

Trusting in the Mashiach who came 2000 years ago leads to you seeing Mashiach ben David and then you might be surprised to find that He is the same person - then you might be surprised to find that God is the same God and the Spirit is the same Spirit who hovered over the waters and the message is pretty much the same message "Israel has sinned!" 

Dominion

Surely the crucifixion of the Messiah 2000 years ago ended the dominion of legal laws - they do not diminish but they lose the top spot - under their dominion Messiah had still been killed even though it had been made to look legal - that way is finished as big boss over anyone - now the way must be the Spirit of God at the top spot - in dominion over us who believe God

Judgement Day

What will happen at the Final Judgement? Everyone known to the angels for a nasty personal history of sinning in some way gets a book written during their lifetime about that sin or sins and the book for each person will be opened and read at the Final Judgement. There are some who are also entered by name into another book either during or perhaps even after their lifetimes when they significantly obey and do the will God in some way, like Jesus did by going to the cross and suffering unto death. These have been faithful unto death and are promised a crown of life so their names are written in the Lamb's book of life. [Sources: Book of Revelation, Book of Enoch]

Spiritual Power

The Holy Spirit is specifically mentioned in scriptures yet we do not see the Holy Spirit but we see what disciples do beyond their natural ability and we receive the effects of it and realise that it comes from the Father and Son - then teachings tell us to understand this as being the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we get so caught up in it that we realise it is happening within us as well as among us.

There is also history of real events if we believe they occurred - the visit of Jesus Himself to Saul of Tarsus like an atomic bomb in that the light blinded Saul and he fell to the ground even though Jesus was high in the sky - perhaps miles high - then spirit enabling of Jesus to speak just to Saul himself and others only hearing a voice without perceiving the words yet oblivious visually to the light - so this combination of uttermost power and spirit emanated from the Son of Man - such is His nature - this is the Son of God at work now He is immortal - and this is only a small scale demonstration compared to what He will do at His coming again when everyone around the world will at once see that coming in the clouds - millions of times more physically powerful than a most powerful nuclear bomb and spiritual in nature such that it is directed differently to different people and accompanied by unnumberable angels to gather the elect.

Becoming Like Jesus

Even without trinitarian teaching about Jesus being God uniquely we can still understand that in one sense Jesus is uniquely a god. Yet this does not prevent us becoming like Him and being truly a brother to Him in spirit and nature. He became mortal flesh and died and rose immortal and we can become like Him by the Spirit (born again) and then die as He died and rise by resurrection as He rose. But still it is true He alone was set apart while angelically immortal human and sent into the world making Him validly called a god.

John 10
34Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’d ? 35If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— 36what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?

"Put down your umbrella!" The Son of Man has you covered!

Seventy Generations Later

After seventy generations had passed since Enoch preached to the fallen angels and then to that entire generation before the Flood, Jesus the Son of Man made flesh and crucified went and preached to them again after His crucifixion once His body was raised from the dead. Amazing to think what He might have preached. His crucifixion and resurrection must have been a part of it. Apparently it was to seek to bring their souls to obedience by knowing directly from the Son of Man Himself about how His obedience to God by letting Himself be crucified had led to God raising Him from the dead. So now seventy generations had passed and the Son of Man Himself was preaching to the generations of Enoch, Methuselah and Noah, maybe they would repent in prison (hell) and be a part of the resurrection at the Son of Man's return???
1 Peter 3:
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 19 in which he went and proclaimedd to the spirits in prison, 20 because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. 21 Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

Walking with God

Today walking with God means pleasing the Holy Spirit and being ever mindful of how to do so and ever learning how to do so - once we belong to the Son of Man - walking with (in step with, in liaison with, fellows together with) the Holy Spirit given in the name of the Son of Man - ever meditating on what the Holy Spirit teaches and demonstrates

Romans 8 (v5-11) "Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you lifed because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you."

The Christ in Old Testament Times

Did Daniel tell of Gabriel or of the Christ fighting alongside archangel Michael? (In the Book of Daniel chapter 10)

Compare:

Daniel 10v5-7 "I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude. I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves."

Revelation 1v12-16 "I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance."

The Mind Controlled by the Holy Spirit

Book of Enoch chapter 67:
"8. ... now their spirit is full of lust, that they may be punished in their body, for they have denied the Lord of Spirits and see their punishment daily, and yet believe not in His name. ... 10. For the judgement shall come upon them, because they believe in the lust of their body and deny the Spirit of the Lord."

Water into Wine

The miracle of changing water into wine illustrates creation involving Father (the giver of the miracle) and Son (the implementer if it) - the Father designs and commands the work of creating and the Son implements the Father's will obeying the Father's commands by speaking and others obey the voice of the Son (like the servants were told by Mary "Whatever He says to you do it") and nature itself too obeys the commands of the Son because the Son always obeys the commands of the Father and believes the Father. Authority to create and govern creation starts with God and always goes through the name of the Son. I believe the Son even if not doing all the inplementing nevertheless it is in His authority and name that others including angels do it. So all is through the Son, even when the Son was flesh - while flesh and absent from heaven still ongoing governance and creating was being done in heaven by His authority - in His name. The water into wine miracle and other miracles demonstrate all this for us to believe. "Believe on the evidence of the miracles", He tells His disciples.

Learn not to trust inner lusts but trust the Spirit of God

Romans 8:

5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Enoch 67:

8. ... now their spirit is full of lust, that they may be punished in their body, for they have denied the Lord of Spirits and see their punishment daily, and yet believe not in His name. ... 10. For the judgement shall come upon them, because they believe in the lust of their body and deny the Spirit of the Lord.

Live by the Spirit

The scriptures do not, despite the strong insistence of many, come as a set. Any one set will have major inadequecies which further revelations and scriptures can fix. Some inadequacies are glaring. Romans is an important epistle and its highest point is chapter 8 describing the way to live for eternal life. Yet it assumes we know what is meant by living by the Spirit or the Law of the Spirit and living by the flesh. Galatians 5 emphasises it without explaining it: "Live by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." Nowhere do the Bible scriptures clarify conclusively what such an important teaching means. In forty years of attending various churches nobody has explained it conclusively in my hearing nor has anyone I have asked. The Book of Enoch (67:8-10 *) is the only source I have found that clarifies; by teaching that kings of the earth trusted in the lusts rather than following after the leadings of the Holy Spirit. This shows that it is all about what we trust and therefore follow after and if we trust our lusts we miss the leadings away from that way given by the Holy Spirit and if we distrust them and trust instead the leadings of the Holy Spirit we will be saved from the peril these kings were heading into.

* Enoch 67

"... 8. But those waters shall in those days serve for the kings and the mighty and the exalted, and those who dwell on the earth, for the healing of the body, but for the punishment of the spirit; now their spirit is full of lust, that they may be punished in their body, for they have denied the Lord of Spirits and see their punishment daily, and yet believe not in His name. 9. And in proportion as the burning of their bodies becomes severe, a corresponding change shall take place in their spirit for ever and ever; for before the Lord of Spirits none shall utter an idle word. 10. For the judgement shall come upon them, because they believe in the lust of their body and deny the Spirit of the Lord. 11. And those same waters will undergo a change in those days; for when those angels are punished in these waters, these water-springs shall change their temperature, and when the angels ascend, this water of the springs shall change and become cold. 12. And I heard Michael answering and saying: 'This judgement wherewith the angels are judged is a testimony for the kings and the mighty who possess the earth.' 13. Because these waters of judgement minister to the healing of the body of the kings and the lust of their body; therefore they will not see and will not believe that those waters will change and become a fire which burns for ever."

The Resurrected Righteous One

"1. The book written by Enoch--[Enoch indeed wrote this complete doctrine of wisdom, (which is) praised of all men and a judge of all the earth] for all my children who shall dwell on the earth. And for the future generations who shall observe uprightness and peace.

2. Let not your spirit be troubled on account of the times;
For the Holy and Great One has appointed days for all things.

3. And the righteous one shall arise from sleep,
[Shall arise] and walk in the paths of righteousness,
And all his path and conversation shall be in eternal goodness and grace.

4. He will be gracious to the righteous and give him eternal uprightness,
And He will give him power so that he shall be (endowed) with goodness and righteousness.
And he shall walk in eternal light."

(Book of Enoch 92:1-4)

When times are changing and troubles increasing and with an outlook of worse trouble yet to come (as we might regard times now), surely it is the natural human fear to fear whether we will survive - survival is threatened. God's prophet Enoch (Idris) recorded the message that repels that fear - that there will be a righteous one who will overcome death and rise from it. This will show righteous living to be a way to overcome death and survive the worst of the troubles ahead. This Righteous One who is not stopped even by death is ever alive to help the righteous ones who look to Him for protection.

Two Lakes of Fire

Chief angels showed Enoch two lakes of fire for ultimate judgement by God: one for fallen and excessively aggressive angels and the second for spiritually blind and umrepentant humans. The first is described as currently existing. The second will appear at the judgement. The description of the first sounds like the Mid-Atlantic Ridge discovered below the seas stretching north to south in the Atlantic Ocean where the ocean floor of the whole planet splits apart constantly with endless fire and magma constantly spilling out. There is no known feature on Earth like it - a chasm of fire stretching deep into the abyss of the earth's crust and running from Iceland to Antarctica. This sounds so similar to the description given by Enoch so it serves as an ilustration of what awaits us if we die in our sins.

The Two Great Messages

Enoch has two great messages - a message to the sinners who do what is wicked and a message to the righteous who do what is right. To the sinner:
"Woe to you, ye sinners, when ye have died,
If ye die in the wealth of your sins,
And those who are like you say regarding you:
'Blessed are the sinners: they have seen all their days.
And how they have died in prosperity and in wealth,
And have not seen tribulation or murder in their life;
And they have died in honour,
And judgement has not been executed on them during their life."
(Book of Enoch chapter 103)
To the righteous:
"I swear unto you, that in heaven the angels remember you for good before the glory of the Great One: and your names are written before the glory of the Great One. Be hopeful; for aforetime ye were put to shame through ill and affliction; but now ye shall shine as the lights of heaven, ye shall shine and ye shall be seen, and the portals of heaven shall be opened to you. And in your cry, cry for judgement, and it shall appear to you; for all your tribulation shall be visited on the rulers, and on all who helped those who plundered you. Be hopeful, and cast not away your hopes for ye shall have great joy as the angels of heaven. What shall ye be obliged to do? Ye shall not have to hide on the day of the great judgement and ye shall not be found as sinners, and the eternal judgement shall be far from you for all the generations of the world. And now fear not, ye righteous, when ye see the sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways: be not companions with them, but keep afar from their violence; for ye shall become companions of the hosts of heaven. " (chapter 104)
In John 8 in the New Testament scriptures we see how the Son of Man bridges the gap between these two messages and tells those sinners in danger of dying in their sins that they must believe He is the Son of Man who existed before the time of Abraham and tells those who believe this that they must simply hold to His teachings "then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" - free from what amounts to slavish service to sinning.

The reward of the righteous who are free - or freed - from sinning is manifold but one such benefit is seen in Enoch's relating of the events of what was to him future and to us past and present: The Holy Spirit to lead into all truth including truth related to the fundamental nature of all things (such as how it is all mysteriously controlled day to day by the power of the name of the Son of Man) :
chapter 93 verse 10 relates to the time of the latter part ("close") of the "seventh week" (and onwards)
v10
"And at its close shall be elected The elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness, To receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation."
So truth consists of underatanding creation as the Holy Spirit teaches about it. And truth sets free from sinning. And elevates those set free.

Heavenly Perceptions

A vision is an inner perception: Like a blind person perceives who is there with them without needing their eyes. They perceive by a combination of senses and all other forms of knowledge available to them. Just over twenty years ago I was delighted to be given a perception of God and His Son and His Spirit without physically seeing either individual person and yet the sum total of what I was given was more certain than sight and gave me more assurance than any sermon. The Father appeared to me in a vision like a dream at night in my sleep and told me things that showed His love for my fellow people and predicted things that would hapoen the following day to show me this love and how He saves people from bad outcomes and it all happened just as He said. The dream was in answer to my prayer to see Father and Son and Spirit. It was more than a dream because God Himself was personally interacting with me. "I am God" is how He introduced Himself to me in the dream vision. Months before I had been given another vision when asking earnestly for the Holy Spirit and to know with certainty that I had been given me. The vision was a bucket of building sand tipped out in front of me and words like subtitles said "Build the Temple". I asked for threefold confirmation and at a church meeting three messages were given by members: three little girls had written a song that went "Build, build, build the Temple. Build, build, build the Temple. Build, build, build the Temple" A man with a guitar who often spoke and sang preached about David being told his son would build the Temple. Another man then spoke about building the Temple. So this vision was a very real event to me. I later said to God I would preach to build the temple that is His believers - building up by His word - but I needed to know Him so I was not speaking without knowledge. That is why I asked to see Father and Son and Spirit. Then after God came in the dream just days or weeks later (mid January 1995 I think it was) a torrential rain storm period hit locally and flooded rivers and I read in Psalms how the Lord presides over floods and we should "Come and see the works of God" so I went to stand on a bridge near home and watch the flood water and rain. I had a big gold umbrella up because the rain was torrential. As I came back up the road a 'voice' only I could hear but clear as crystal with tremendous certainty and assertive authority said "PUT DOWN YOUR UMBRELLA". As soon as I did so the rain stopped so suddenly not a drop hit me. I said "It is the Lord" and remembered the way the disciples said this after the resurrection. Asking Jesus to prove it was Him I later at night asked for a dressing gown I had never used hanging on my bedroom wall to come off the nail by the morning and then went to sleep. In the middle of the night something or someone got into the hiddenmost depths of my mind and made me wake up and get up. As I did I reached for the dressing gown and took it and suddenly remembered my sign request. This made me perceive Jesus so clearly and the fact I had asked to see Father and Son and Spirit made me certain God regards Jesus as His Son: Not just a son, His Son. That is what I had asked and what was being shown me. Then weeks later I was taken to the church where for the first time I was given interpretation of a message in toungues that went: "See the trees how they put forth buds and leaves; they do so by the power of the name of Lord Jesus Christ." So now I had certainty who Father and Son and Holy Spirit are and was set on a path following them into all truth.

Signs and Times

The heavenly bodies are signs because natural things are parables as well as showing seasons and times. See how the sun subtends exactly the same angle as the moon and looks the same size even though the sun is much bigger. The eclipse is like it is because they overlap so closely by these angles they subtend. Then see the sign of design in nature by how we only see one side of the moon because it rotates at exactly the same angular speed as the time it takes to orbit Earth and always has done constantly in history. It shows it is created deliberately and keeps to God's design obediently. The times as God revealed them to mankind include a 364 day year and heavenly records seem to record years as 364 day years. The ancient Greeks did not like the year to not be the same as the time it takes for a natural year to complete but they did not change the year to 365.25 days. The Romans did follow Greek astronomer and Roman astronomer advice about the natural year length being :365.25 days long and they changed it under Julius Caesar's leadership and he made a new calendar on advice of these astronomers including a month named after himself and making sure this month July was one of the longest. Augustus changed it again and got himself a month named after him and changed February to decrease it so his month August could be just as long as July. The calendar stayed like this up until the time when popes ruled the empire and astronomers found the year was slightly too short and it made feast days less and less accurate so they persuaded Pope Gregory to change it again. Gradually the whole world came to switch to this Roman Empire calendar. Some countries only switched in the last couple of centuries. Heaven probably still uses the calendar they always used and taught to humans as recorded in the Book of Enoch - 364 days long. The Hebrew calendar included in the Law is similar to the Enochian calendar because it combines solar and lunar.

The all-history timescale foretold in the Book of Enoch means a second coming of the Christ by 2050 AD at latest and most likely before 2040:

This leaves barely time for a thousand years of Christ reigning but means a second coming by 2050 AD at latest and most likely before 2040.


How this was determined:

“And after that in the fifth week, at its close, The house of glory and dominion shall be built for ever.”
Then later it says (http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/boe097.htm)
“And after this, in the tenth week in the seventh part, There shall be the great eternal judgement, In which He will execute vengeance amongst the angels.”
Enoch effectively tells us the Final Judgement will be between 3400 and 3500 years after the building of the second temple in Jerusalem. This is because the rest of this account shows a week means seven centuries. Note: the year for Enoch and for angels was 364 days. So his 3500 years is 3490 years by our modern reckoning of years.

The Reign of Christ

"I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." -- Revelation 20v4-10
When will this happen? Well it is just before the Judgement. The Book of Enoch shows the Judgement will happen at a time we can determine (from the Artaxerxes' command to rebuild Jerusalem Temple in 458 BC) is around 3030-3040 AD. So given the war of Satan takes place before this final judgement and the reign of Christ and imprisonment of Satan is for a thousand years before that, we can deduce the reign of Christ will start very soon, as early as 2030-2040 AD.  But note too that it (Book of Enoch) says "in the tenth week in the seventh part" so 3030-40 AD is the latest this could be and anytime between 2930-40 and 3030-40 would be in the seventh part of the tenth week. It is just that Jesus has not yet returned (He did say it might be at the eleventh hour - just before the latest time it could be) so His return could been in line with this prophesy at anytime from 1930 to 2030-40 AD - yet quite a lot needs to happen apocalytically first and there is little time left to keep in accord with the heavenly books from which Enoch was recounting.

Obviously this first resurrection can only happen once. So God seems to be waiting till the very last minute to ensure people still struggling to repent of major sins and learn the truth in Jesus have as much time as possible before time is up. I was never sure enough information existed in scripture to say how soon this resurrection might be when the Book of Enoch was hidden from me (and most people) but now I know what much of it says I believe we can be in the light about it. If God leaves it much longer I think there will be not enough time for Christ to have His promised thousand year reign with His saints before Satan is released and the Final Judgement begins. Azazel and the other fallen angels must be judged by around 3030-3040 AD at the latest according to the heavenly written plans, it seems to me now. Then the second firey opening will appear in which the human wicked and spiritually blind will be cast. So fitting in the full thousand years of rule of Christ will be a tight fit now. Such is God's mercy to the strugglers and stragglers (like myself) to give us all the possible time to get sorted out in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ the Son of Man (with God from before time, we believe, and now crucified and raised forever).

The Judgement

"Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire." -- Revelation 20v11-15

When will this be? The Book of Enoch tells us (if we combine it with the 458 BC decree of Artaxerxes to rebuild the Jerusalem Temple): circa 3032 AD

Enoch's World History Chronology Elucidated

Heavenly tablets seen by the Sumerian prophet Enoch who was taught a 364 day year by archangel Uriel give a clear (perhaps clearest and most reliable) chronology of all world history. It is set out in seven period chunks of time which can be determined with good confidence to be seven hundred years long and most likely 364-day years. There were ten such periods called 'weeks' when translated into English. Several such weeks had significant events at their close. One week helps us determine the complete chronology because it forms part of another much later prophecy of Daniel which also uses weeks to describe periods with seven equal slots plus secular history helps with sanity checking this event: the decree by Artaxerxes to rebuild the Temple of Jerusalem which Daniel tells us marks 483 years before the killing (cutting off) of the Christ. This can therefore be estimated with good confidence to be 458 BC. Then when we apply the Enoch weeks (698 years long) we get this very enlightening chronology:

When the Christ shall come

The Book of Daniel has a revelation concerning weeks of years which tell us when the command to start the building of the second temple was given working back from the crucifixion (cutting off) of the Christ.
The Book of Revelation tells us the time of the Second Coming of the Christ as being a thousand years before the Final Judgement.
So through these scriptures we can tell the time of the Second Coming of the Christ from the date of the crucifixion of the Christ.
Note: 3500 Enochian years (as Uriel taught Enoch) is possibly years according to the 364 day year so it might be 3490 modern years.

The History (and Future) of the World

A scriptural chronology of history excelling any other chronology is found in the Book of Enoch (http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/boe096.htm http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/boe097.htm) which is immune to scribal errors in copying numbers which plague other scriptural chronological records because it is recorded in a sequence of seven hundred year timespans and especially records what happens at the end of each such period.

It starts with the birth of Enoch at the end of the first seven century 'week' after Adam.

"And Enoch began to recount from the books and said:
'I was born the seventh in the first week,
While judgement and righteousness still endured."

I estimate the 'weeks' of centuries correspond roughly to these periods:

Enoch based the foretelling on records of God's plans he was allowed to see when in Heaven and tells of what seem to me to be these events which in his time (when he recorded all this for his descendants) were future events.

first law codes 2500 to 2000 BC, Abraham's call around 1900 BC,
eternal Law given around 1200 BC,
house of glory built forever around 500 BC,
a man (Christ) ascending somewhere between around 300 BC and 200 AD, elect about to enter enlightenment around 900 AD,
elect and righteous dominating around 1650 AD,
reign of righteousness and demise of wickedness up to 2350 AD,
Final Judgement around 3050 AD

This implies the enlightenment and rise of Western learning among believers in Christ from 1000 AD onwards was possibly at least partly the work of the Holy Spirit in teaching elect people about nature. This led to domination of enlightened people over the whole world up until around 1700 AD. After that and until today and in centuries from now onwards the wicked will start to be suppressed and eliminated with righteousness taking more and more lead (especially when Christ returns - other scriptures say).

IMPORTANTLY Enoch tells us the Final Judgement will be 3500 years after the building of the second temple in Jerusalem

Sorceries

Sorcery found a way to hide its spiritual creepiness - it became modern science. Children learn it in school along with the other teachings of the fallen angels. This ensures society always persists the fallen angels' teachings and sorceries of drug addiction and medical 'miracles' that keep the world under the spell and jurisdiction of the god of this age.

The ongoing giving of prophecies from thousands of years past till this present day

Various religious groups over the centuries have taken issue with the possibility of ongoing giving of prophecies by the Holy Spirit. There have been those who have labelled this belief in ongoing prophecy as heretical. Yet one thing is proven to me by the Book of Enoch more than anything else: The Holy Spirit does indeed inspire prophecies today just like those He inspired Enoch to write all those thousands of years ago. When I first came across tongues and their interpretation in a pentecostal church it confirmed my belief these things happening today is not a heresy as some suppose but a day-to-day reality. What is more, not long after this I read from the Book of Enoch in a bookshop and found almost those very words and certainly the same general meaning of the words right there in what Enoch had so long ago written so I knew too that this Book of Enoch is a genuine work of the Holy Spirit working so consistently and persistently over thousands of years since even before the earliest Bible books and still exactly the same today.

The Plan

From the ancient Book of Enoch we find that Enoch, seventh from Adam, prophesied concerning the wickedness before Noah's Flood and that Enoch's prayer persuaded God to preserve some people from that Flood so as to later make a population of righteous people so when He destroys the wicked again there will be righteous people to replace them - helped by the Son of Man. The God and the Son of God (Son of Man) would forever dwell with these people.

"Before Christ"??

Now I realise the truth of Christ's sayng "Before Abraham was, I am" it makes less sense to keep using 'BC' ("Before Christ") - there is no year of earth's history that is 'before' Christ - He is before all things - like John the Baptist said "One who is coming after me has surpassed me because He was before me" - John the Baptist was born before Christ was born but Christ was before John the Baptist (as Daniel found out when a hand was put on his shoulder and a man spoke to him - Daniel 10).

A Great Mystery of God

There is a great mystery of God that starts with Enoch's prayer following the first of his two dreams (in the Book of Enoch chapter 83 and following) - chapter 84
"5. And now, O God and Lord and Great King,
I implore and beseech Thee to fulfil my prayer,
To leave me a posterity on earth,
And not destroy all the flesh of man,
And make the earth without inhabitant,
So that there should be an eternal destruction.
6. And now, my Lord, destroy from the earth the flesh which has aroused Thy wrath,
But the flesh of righteousness and uprightness establish as a plant of the eternal seed,
And hide not Thy face from the prayer of Thy servant, O Lord.'"

It ends with God saying in Revelation "See I am making all things new".

Fascinating Truth about the Christ

Fascinating how Jesus Christ spoke like somehow all the benefits of His existence from before Abraham and even before time were available to Him - must be it was His by the efficacy of the Holy Spirit - like the Holy Spirit had buffered all Jesus' knowledge and veracity from before time began - all given Him by God since the start of things - and could constantly make it all available to Jesus.

Truth that changes things

Chirst died for you and me and all of us - that truth changes things - that truth opens us to His teachings and to the moral compass provided by experientially knowing the power of God.

Whose Children are we? God's or Satan's?

The Son of Man taught that we are born of Satan because we are born liars and we must be reborn so we are born of God with the whole spirit part of us being from God-given Spirit and God-given spirit-words. John 3, John 4, John 8. That this Son of Man exists is amazing and yet real so being amazingly reborn can be real too even though the thought of it is amazing.

I hate relying on what the preachers and teachers say - my motto is to understand it from the best source (I tend to stick with the gospel of John).

To make it easy to check it for yourselves here is a chunk of the Gospel of John chapter 8

9At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

11“No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,”Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

12When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

13The Pharisees challenged him, “Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid.”

14Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. 15You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. 16But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. 17In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. 18I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”

19Then they asked him, “Where is your father?”

“You do not know me or my Father,” Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” 20He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his hour had not yet come.

21Once more Jesus said to them, “I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.”

22This made the Jews ask, “Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, ‘Where I go, you cannot come’?”

23But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

25“Who are you?” they asked.

“Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied. 26“I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

27They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father. 28So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. 29The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” 30Even as he spoke, many believed in him.

31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”

34Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father. ”

39“Abraham is our father,” they answered.

“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you wouldc do what Abraham did. 40As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41You are doing the works of your own father.”

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”



Years later John who recorded those words of Jesus would go on to teach things that showed He took to heart and understood what Jesus was saying

In First Epistle of John he wrote (chapter 3):

4Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

7Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Be Born Again

The Son of Man taught that we are born of Satan because we are born liars and we must be reborn so we are born of God with the whole spirit part of us being from God-given Spirit and God-given spirit-words. John 3, John 4, John 8. That this Son of Man exists is amazing and yet real so being amazingly reborn can be real too even though the thought of it is amazing.

Jude knew his brother Jesus believed and loved the Book of Enoch

People who are ignorant and unbelieving regarding the Book of Enoch believe in a circular argument (a trick of the uninspired mind) that goes: it is not canonical because it is not scripture and it is not scripture because it is not canonical. How foolish. Jesus cuts through all that by knowing it is true scripture and not just teaching what it teaches but supporting His biological brother in his teaching of it in the epistle Jude was given by Jesus' authority to write. The truth Jesus brought into this world inspired those like Jude who know Him very closely and knew that He believed the veracity of the Book of Enoch such that Jude knew it would be OK with Jesus for him to verify the Book of Enoch in his epistle. If Jude included it then he must have known Jesus believed in it and He knew Jesus first as biological brother then as disciple of the Teacher.

Be Set Free by Truth

There is plenty of truth in the Book of Enoch; this kind of truth as spoken of by the Son of Man:
(John 8:31-32) 'To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
It is the sort of truth that leads a true disciple to make cultural changes in their life along with a change to more righteous behaviour. All kinds of truth about existing social culture and how it got to be like it is in the world which makes us revolt at the fallen angel teachings and want to be less driven by such things and want to take on the kind of culture God intended as we put aside the evils of the world such as lies and murderousness.

The Holy Great One seen by Enoch

Just as John in Revelation tells (by his faith and the Holy Spirit) that the man (Son of Man) seen by Daniel (Daniel 10) is Jesus (before He was incarnated), so too Jude tells (by his faith and the Holy Spirit) that the Holy Great One seen by Enoch (Enoch chapter 1) is Jesus. Some pour doubt on passages in the Book of Enoch about the Son of Man because these passages are said not to be found among the Dead Sea Scrolls fragments of the Book of Enoch. However Jude uses chapter 1 and clarifies from it that the Great One seen by Enoch is this Holy Great One who will come in the clouds at the end time (much like God Himself descended on Sinai): Jesus, the Lord.

Enoch 1
1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and  righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said--Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
And appear from His camp
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5. And all shall be smitten with fear
And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6. And the high mountains shall be shaken,
And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame

7. And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder,
And all that is upon the earth shall perish,
And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).

8. But with the righteous He will make peace.

And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them.

And they shall all belong to God,
And they shall be prospered,
And they shall all be blessed.

And He will help them all,
And light shall appear unto them,
And He will make peace with them.

9. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
