The last angelic session

 As Germany joins an arms race to counter Russia and supply Eastern Europe with weapons, it looks like the prophecy of the last invisible angelic shepherd in the Book of Enoch (Dream of the Beasts) is starting to prove plausible. Essentially the last reign of seventy invisible shepherd angels is foretold for our next few decades, leading up to 2800 years since the Assyrian invasion of ancient Israel. The last twelve angels in control of world events affecting the people of God are foretold to be each more deadly than their predecessors. The last angel would be starting their forty year session around now. Previously there were angels presiding over judgmental persecutions of people of God in which more deaths were counted than in previous sessions since centuries before Christ came. The last angel session (spanning forty years) is predicted to be of the same order of deadliness as the previous eleven (spanning a little over four centuries). This means it is a prediction along the lines of the next decades being similar in terms of deaths of people of God to those decades which included WW II. This is all in judgment for the apostasy which started among the people of the covenant with God before the Assyrians invaded ancient Israel. A covenant with God must be honoured. We should love God with all our heart and honour and teach His teachings to our children, not ban them in our schools. God lets these angels rule invisibly with deadly force and does not relent from anger. Yet soon it will be the end of this 2800 year punishment period and the Christ will return to judge more directly and in righteousness.

Ancient markers

Since ancient times, people worldwide have been following encounters with divinities and elemental spirits, sometimes becoming effectively slaves to spirits. Markers of places of divine or elemental spirit encounters were set up, like you see in Shinto shrines and folk religion spirit houses and elf houses. It is even mentioned in scriptures that when patriarchs encountered God immediate thought went to setting up a stone to mark the spot, or when disciples saw Jesus transfigured, immediate thought went to building a shrine to mark the spot. The spirit it is hoped, might return to that place if it was marked by a stone or might return habitually it and to go inside that structure if it was a small building. The hope was that this spot could be returned to for worship and seeking blessing. Places of spirit encounters were places where further communing with spirits and gaining of spirit blessings could be hoped for, sometimes sought by making offerings. Special days in the calendar were designated to help organise this. Rituals take place to further such spirit communion. The Christian gospel of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Christ allowed the freeing of people from the slavery to the elemental spirits which had been encountered and so that the spirits serving the Most High supreme spirit who had sent Jesus Christ could be regarded as ministering spirits and this Father God alone worshipped together with His Son Jesus, the Lord. The body of the believing receiver of the Holy Spirit from God (God the Father), with their own spirit awakened, then becomes the site of visitation, the temple, and the joining of believers by this fellowship becomes the special house of God. To this day, though, the shrines are still built and visited and the special days and ceremonies used to seek after and appease those elemental lesser spirits. It is the way it always has been for many in their traditional culture because not everyone believes the gospel of Christ.

Snake on a pole the symbol of healing

 The Israelites were led by Moses in the desert when they left slavery in Egypt. Then they grumbled. So God sent a plague of snakes. They were bitten. Moses begged for mercy on their behalf. God gave an odd but spiritually effective way to heal them. Spirit is odd. We have scientific materialistic doctrines taught us about spirit not existing, so we do not learn about spiritual matters. Science either dismisses them or calls it all mystery. Anyway the spiritual power of symbols is real sometimes. God told Moses to use a symbol to convey God’s healing. A snake made of bronze was put on a wooden pole and held up in the camp of people. They looked at it and there it was symbolising that snake nature which afflicted them with poison. That snake nature was spiritually held up there crucified, and it got spiritually destroyed with a spiritual curse, so that they would have healing from the venom. It worked. Spirit is real sometimes. They were healed by looking at it. That is power of the spirit of God. Now we have a much bigger problem. The venom we suffer is not from snakes. It is from humanness: our own and the humanness of those around us. It makes us do wrong. We fall short. Our ethical standards are beyond our human ability to achieve. If we cannot meet even our own ethical standards, so much more with God’s. This poisons our lives. Jesus Christ got crucified on a cross to make the spiritually healing symbol of a human on a cross of wood. That humanness was made a curse on a cross for our healing and ethical shortfall. That was effectively our humanness up on that cross being crucified and its poisoning power was being destroyed. We died on that cross. Our human venom was rendered into nothing. The Lord Jesus rose from the dead and the curse was finished forever. We therefore share that end of the curse. We have newness of life because we are dead on that cross, and because Jesus rose from the dead, ending that curse. The symbols are more effective than mere symbolism. They are spiritually the power of the spirit of God for our healing. It works. We have life welling up in us because the humanness is crucified in the crucifixion Jesus endured. He bought us life. With the holy blood of the Lamb of God that Jesus is. We should no more let failing be our thing. It is for life that we are healed.

That eagle overhead

 That eagle of war over Eastern Europe believers is not much different than the eagle over Western believers too. We have sinned: That, says the LORD, is why the eagle is overhead. It looms over us all. We have all broken the sacred covenant. We appoint our leaders without God’s approval. We ignore God’s words. We neglect to teach God’s teachings to our children. We even ban God’s teachings in our schools. Mushroom clouds are foretold. Forewarned we should repent and maybe our Father God will relent. This is so, so serious.

God’s arm is stretched out still

 God does not like war and destruction. There is no pleasure for God in the death of criminally behaving people. God likes people. God likes cities. God finds shade in the umbrella of a city of humans He has created. God does not happily destroy a city or watch over its destruction. This provides a pathway of hope. Repenting from criminal and unjust behaviour and from violence can lead to an averting of a crisis. Love towards God and the advertising of His teachings is a pathway of health, life, freedom and every blessing. Yet falling short of this leads to impending war and heaven-sent scrutiny. God’s arm is stretched out still.

The concept of ‘gods

 The Rabbinical Judaism assignment of a twisted ‘majestic plural’ meaning to the god(s) word Elohim allowed Genesis to not be heresy in the rules of the Rabbinical Jews of the second century AD and following. This get-out allowed the Rabbinic Jews and Talmud to label as heresy any attempt to attribute the work of creation to any being but the Most High. All rather convenient. But the real meaning is revealed in other scriptures where the LORD God (Most High) is called the king above all Elohim. Elohim are a nation’s gods. Usually nations had multiple gods in a kind of pantheon, but Abraham had only one god in his Elohim ‘pantheon’. So a clumsy but fairly accurate translation of Elohim might be ‘god-set’: Your national set of gods. The singularity of this god-set of Abraham led to this word applying to one being in some contexts, the Most High, El-Shaddai. In other contexts such as a context of a foreign nation the word would mean all the nation’s gods. In a very general context it would mean all the gods, such as when Yahweh is called the king above all gods.

“Woe to those who build up their houses with crime; for from their very foundations shall their houses be demolished, and by the sword shall they themselves fall. Those, too, who acquire gold and silver, shall justly and suddenly perish. Woe to you who are rich, for in your riches have you trusted; but from your riches you shall be removed; because you have not remembered the Most High in the days of your prosperity: [you shall be removed, because you have not remembered the Most High in the days of your prosperity.”

These words follow instruction of Enoch to his son to tell him of the final judgement and the events of history in predetermined times leading up to that judgement. So Enoch is strongly advising his son, and those who listen to his son, about the way to live rightly and not be condemned in that judgement. We only need to read our news today to find evidence of many, many using criminal or near-criminal ways to build up their careers and property. Once the criminality of people is exposed we might think that punishment should follow but might not follow as it should. Especially the rich and powerful get away with actions the rest of us would be punished for, and we know we would forfeit our wellbeing and future if we acted so criminally. Yet we know that God judges. There can be justice from heaven when none is metered out by society and the legal system. Now this passage in the Book of Enoch confirms that God even uses war to bring about such punishment. Violent death is sent as punishment, typically through war or similar means, and it even reaches the rich who prosper from criminality and deception, swindling and cheating, trickery and craftiness. Stand back and let it be. Intercede by all means, but do not stand in the way of God’s justice or pervert it or obstruct it. Live a right lifestyle that does not warrant such punishment. 

Scientific naivety

 In the West and increasingly globally we live in an age of scientific naivety. Scientists have deliberately suppressed any knowledge of spirit and only acknowledge material things, a universe of gravity, matter and energy. There is more than this. There is a whole ‘ology’ of spirit to be known and understood. The naivety is dangerous. You cannot understand truth if you deliberately ignore spirit. 

The trickery of science and scientists, medicine and medics

 Many published scientists do not recognise the trickery in sciences. For me it is a lifelong sadness to see how dishonest scientific work can be and how easily people are tricked by its devices, deceptions and ability to mislead and frighten people into parting with their money and public money. Look at how it all started. Rosicrucianism. Invisible colleges like the Royal Society. Sorcery - secret groups of esoterists who were forced to rely solely on experimentation rather than black magic and white magic, by the church which was burning their books and arresting them. If it wasn’t for book burning there would be no experimental modern sciences, no natural magic arts as the sorcerers used to call it. Many scientists despise the inquisitions and book burnings that took place when the printing press invention started spreading sorcery ideas and beliefs by the esoteric groups which included originators of modern sciences. Yet without those actions by the church there would be no formation of the experimental scientific process and the scientists would still be blatantly practicing sorcery today. At least today we find that there is a modicum of decency about use of experiments instead of invocation of spirits to find secrets of Nature. Without church censorship this change would not have happened. Yet the agendas of scientific studies still have great overtones of the aims of the sorcerers who started it all: philosopher stone, reanimation, crossing of species, homunculus, chimera, immortality, gold from base metals, and so on. These can all be discerned in modern counterpart scientific and medical goals. Medicine still tricks people into buying drugs and chemicals they do not need and are better off without. Trickery is so much part of what we see from medical and scientific officials. The leopard does not change its spots. It learns to blend in by its spots to hide from the hunter while terrorising its prey.  

Woe in the UK

 What a day when we find everyone is duped and possibly complicit in it. Trickery of medical science. Enmity against all that is right. The profits made from fear of death rates inflated by the statisticians by reporting deaths WITH covid persistently as if they were deaths FROM covid. The movement of money on a huge scale, not just in UK but globally, from public purses to pharmaceutical private purses. The poverty we will all now experience, if outside of the circles of pharma and medicine, as the currency value plummets due to the ‘printing’ of extra money to pay for the medical supplies, tests and vaccines. May their money perish with them. Just a little more than 17,000 actually dying in UK FROM covid, as distinct from huge published figures of those dying WITH covid. That is in comparison to 700,000 normal annual deaths in UK in any years. Woe. The rich have robbed the poor. Woe to them. The guides have been tested and found to be blind. Or if they claim to see, then their guilt is profound. Either incredibly stupid or incredibly guilty.

So now we know

So now we know! Or partly know.

Only 17,500 deaths in UK actually FROM covid, as distinct from WITH covid. Office of National Statistics figure, yet even there they only published openly the figures of deaths WITH covid. It took a legally binding request to get the figure of FROM covid deaths.

The collusion to this has been surely unprecedented in history. Not just government. All those such as Big Pharma who profited. All those who held back from questioning such high death rate figures being published, failing to ask for actual figures of deaths caused by covid, in those not having other causes of death. So, so many caught up in this and profiting. So many fearful to question it. Who can we trust anymore? Not many. And all that dishonesty just waiting to be manifest in another way soon. Unpunished this will just keep recurring in other ways. Trickery is the new norm. Woe. Woe. Woe.

Refusal

 When we refuse to believe tricks, propaganda, misleading news and advertising, there must be a danger that their whole system would fall apart, otherwise they would not go to such lengths to try to trick us and make us believe it all.

Trickery

 It is increasingly obvious that the world is filling up with tricksters. Snake oil salesman is the new template for not only careers but for the common way of life. Medical sciences are now highly funded but looking at the past concept of medicine you find that trickery has long been a major part of it and the prominence of this career path in global society makes trickery prominent too. It seems trickery is here to stay. Yet there is a silver lining because there is a Lord. There is a Master. There is one who has a right claim to the ownership of our innermost being. This of course is Jesus Christ, alive from the dead. His testimony highlights the trickery, the deception, and the enmity at large against all that is right. His teachings offer personal purification, as does the blood Jesus shed on the cross which can cleanse our tarnished consciences. We must cling to this one life boat before our Titanic of society sinks forever.

Children of the rich

 The children of super-rich people might get so used to buying all they want that they know they can buy people too. It is a bit despicable because it is too much like seedy corruption, like the vices of Babylon the Great. Yet the son of the richest person ever, did buy people, with his holy blood, and this son is not despicable but is the real deal, faithful and true. The reason it is no Babylon the Great, but rather the Kingdom of God, is that this person is totally genuine, totally legit. Nothing seedy. No vice. He really did purchase us with his blood, holy blood. The only-begotten. The Son of the Creator, God. This lord over us is Jesus Christ. 

The gods of the nation

 A nation must have its gods. There is no word for this concept, is there? Pantheon is not the same thing. A nation can acknowledge that other gods might exist and might even be part of a pantheon with that nation’s own gods. That leaves no room for considering their own gods to be a pantheon. Part of a pantheon, maybe. What to call their own gods? A godhead? Same problem as pantheon. There was in ancient Hebrew, as part of a concept shared by the ancients, a word Elohim. It is copiously threaded through the Hebrew scriptures. A nation’s gods are its Elohim. Yet for Abraham, patriarch ancestor of the ancient Israelites, the Elohim he knew and owned as his own, was one single being, El Shaddai, the Elohim of Abraham, the gods of Abraham, one god, who to many of us today is simply God. Abraham’s great descendant Moses knew this one God, the Elohim of Abraham’s descendants who walked in Abraham’s faith, as Yahweh. To me this One God is simply God. Jesus teaches us to call this One God ‘the Father’. In all this the initiative has come from this God Himself. To Abraham this God came down to speak to Abraham and to tell Abraham “I am El Shaddai”. To Moses this God came to visit and said “To Abraham I was El Shaddai, and to you I will be Yahweh”. Then Jesus came, with the word to us all that this God is the Father, his own father. Even to me this God once came and said “I am God”. Maybe others have been visited like this too. Yet, it is all one being, God. For many of us this One True God who sent Jesus Christ is our Elohim, our single person sufficient as our gods, content to have no other gods but God. Other gods do exist, yet only the Father is our One True God and Jesus Christ is His only-begotten Son. This One Lord of us all sent by this One True God. This Lord is Jesus. Son of the One True God.

The Father

 El Shaddai: In Genesis 17 verse 1, this is the unique name for God, the Father, which God gave Himself when speaking to Abraham. He is identified as Abraham’s Elohim in verse 22: The whole Elohim of Abraham, Abraham’s godhead, his set of trusted gods, is one person El Shaddai. Clearly this is what God later referred to with Moses when He said “to Abraham I made myself known as El Shaddai”.  So from the passage about Moses in Exodus we find that this is the same being as Yahweh. The closest meaning of El Shaddai I can find is God-the-Shedu. A Shedu is a huge wondrous male creature seen later in Assyrian statues, head of human, body of lion, wings, legs of an ox. Like the cherubim described by Ezekiel. People say this represents power in all areas of power. (It is also known by the female equivalent called a Lamassu.)

Technologism

 Nothing will persuade people away from obsessively using drugs and chemicals every way possible for every slightest problem. In this faith of technologism, people are utterly convinced technology solves every problem. Scientism goes along with it: thinking all facts must be scientific. It is the new way, the scientific-materialist religion. No technology will cure it, until it becomes like a terminal illness killing off many species of animals and eventually humans too.

What does a cross do?

 What does a cross do? Why have exorcists since ancient times used a cross to repel possession and heal their patients? What power is in that cross? Moses lifted up a serpent on a pole, akin to a cross, to heal mass snake bite victims and repel the snake poison. The serpent on pole and the cross are symbols used by medics and pharmacists in modern times as well as by sorcerers and exorcists since ancient times. The cross propitiates. It takes the brunt of the divine judgment within a situation of punishment for wrongdoing. It substitutes for the judgment of recipient of punishment. It holds up towards the patient a symbol of the evil being dealt with. The one upon the cross has to be in the form of that evil, in order for the evil to be overcome by this combination of propitiation (bearing the punishment instead of the patient) and substitution (bearing before the creditor the debt of the patient’s wrong doing). This was the meaning of a cross symbol in ancient times. The symbol was called MASH. (This might be a root of words Mass, and Massiah, we associate with this cross today.) The Messiah took this position of becoming sin on a cross to deal with sin and bear the brunt of wrath of God against us because of our sins. This heals us when we look to the cross in faith. It heals the punishing effects of sin and repels the power of sin by bearing the divine punishment and wrath so that we do not have to. So we should turn from our sins and live rightly, grateful for this cross and remembering its bearer, its substitute sacrifice.

Knowledge beyond science

 Most scientists look at the universe as scientific materialists leaving God out. They make God ‘out of scope’ of their science and deny the existence of anything except matter, energy and gravity. So the evidence of the nature of God is deemed by their definition ‘unscientific’. Yet God gives us both reasoning ability and faith and moral compass to lovingly include Him in our knowledge, once we discover this knowledge from the cross of Christ. The testimony of the apostles becomes more important to us than the science of the materialists. What is out of scope to scientific materialists is in scope to believers. 

The most important messenger

 God takes a human who can eat and drink to speak certain things to humans, for the salvation of humans who need to be able to identify with the speaker of the saving message. Human ghosts and non-human spirits are useful in some situations but limited in use because they overly scare the human recipients of the message. So for utmost important saving messages and truly vital works of salvation, God uses a living human messenger, whether alive as a mortal or risen as an immortal resurrected human. Even the resurrected human can scare the hearers so in the main a mortal human, not yet having died, is used for the truly vital and saving messengering. The Book of Enoch describes the ultimate messenger from God, the very son of God, to be in fellowship with humans for their salvation and to help and counsel them to keep them ever righteous and at peace with God, the Son of Man, the anointed Elect One. Jesus proclaimed this Son of Man as himself, sent by God. 

Health warning

 The Book of Enoch is a health warning about the world we live in: about the world’s technologies, cultures, sorceries and sciences, fashions, customs, superstitions, military ways and the behaviour of its people. It shows the unfortunate spiritual origins of these things and the downsides of our objects of desire. The outcome is that we should have our eyes more widely open as we live in this world and we should practice a strategy of daily avoidance of what it has to offer. It does not forbid anything. It does not legislate. It cautions. It enlightens. It explains. It leaves the decisions to us on how we will apply its lessons to our lives. Overall we should practice a strategy of knowledgable avoidance and live by the guidance and truth of the Holy Spirit of God.

Message in a bottle

 If you believe in the veracity of Jesus Christ and the gospel testimonies of Jesus endorsing the Book of Enoch, you can eventually understand that the Book of Enoch is a message in a bottle to you. You were known 5000 years ago when Enoch wrote much of it and you were its target audience. God can transcend time by foreknowledge and predestination. The Spirit who inspired Enoch inspires us still today and has the same things to say as then. Much of what the Holy Spirit says to us today is right there in the Book of Enoch just waiting for us to read it and be astounded.

Looming

 Let’s not get hysterical about it but nuclear war involving UK and US is looming. UK and US sin is the cause. Time to involve God in our appointment of our leaders. We are covenant nations under God. 

Divine imperative

 If your old life has died and your new life is hidden with Christ in God, if so, then the mysterious and distant crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has your life mingled with it and that event has formed part of the makings of your inner being: The most important brick in the wall. There are others too who have these same components in their life and so there is a mysterious unity running between those who are joined to Christ in this way. Love one another. Speak truthfully to one another. 

Divine fellowship

Remaining in Jesus’ love is as important as Jesus remaining in the Father’s love. Jesus remaining in us is compared by Jesus to the Father remaining in Jesus. Jesus remains in the Father and the Father in him by Jesus keeping the Father’s words and doing what pleases the Father and having the Father’s constant devoted love. So too with us. As you get to know Jesus and find you have fellowship with Jesus by holding to Jesus’ teachings, you suddenly find you actually know the Father too and have fellowship with the Father and have the Father in your circle. That is because the Father is in Jesus’ circle, in Jesus’ life, in Jesus’ whole way of doing things, in the outcomes of all that Jesus does and in all the workings of Jesus’ actions and teachings and miracles. Seeing Jesus, we see the Father. Seeing the Father we see He has a beloved only begotten Son who we find is right there with the Father. The two are inseparable. 

Christ died for you

The cross in ancient times was symbolic. It was symbolically used to hold up a bronze figure of the enemy of a demon in order to exorcise that demon or defeat that enemy. The bronze figure depicted on the bronze cross was a lord or enemy with power over the evil being. This was a practice from the dawn of human civilisation. Moses was told by God to deal with a plague of snakes among the camp of people by making a bronze snake and putting it on a pole and holding it up in the camp to cure those bitten by the snake. These kinds of practices were known among ancient peoples as the way evils were overcome in exorcism and healing. The cuneiform ancient writing symbol of a cross came to be associated with exorcism and divine healing. This was so from the start of civilisation even back when writing first came into existence. Holding up a figure of a powerful spirit would fend off other powerful spirits. Artefacts from long before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ show this very well established practice. Even today we see that ambulances have images of the serpent on the pole and have crosses on them. Medical pharmacy stores do the same. The Red Cross organisation does this too. God did it with His Son. The Christ on the cross is held up - against an evil. We are that evil. Our wrong behaviour. That powerful person held up before us to overcome the evil of us is our Lord. That Lord over us is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ crucified. Now risen as both Lord and Christ. Looking to this Lord Jesus Christ and learning from him, believing his veracity, believing God sent him, this overcomes our evil consciences and leads to powerful divine healing from our wayward behaviour. Dwelling on this truth of Christ crucified for you opens you to the healing and restoring power of God, allowing the correcting Spirit of holiness from heaven to enter your innermost being and lead you into truthfulness and truth. Look to this Lord Jesus Christ crucified for you and be healed from your evils and be cleansed in your conscience. 

Resurrection

 Resurrection is important to God. It is such an important part of His agenda that He does it three times, first on Lazarus, then on Jesus, God’s own son, then ... well we just have to wait for what is next.

The banquet buffet

 Jesus is like a banquet buffet laid out before us. Faced with a banquet buffet, some pick around the edges and are satisfied with a taste; others dive in. They all get satisfied and tell the story. Some have more of a story to tell. 

Omicron and providence

 COVID19. A lot of factors come together to cause the ‘evolutionary’ variant changes to ‘stick’. Proximity to other variants. Distance from antigens for a prolonged time. Chance is one of many factors. Darwinian ideas might play a role but that seems to be belittled nowadays. What nobody fully understands is the role of providence. Call it reversed entropy if you like. Convenient changes. Serendipity. Things moving towards a beneficial outcome such as Omicron. Omicron combining several changed properties resulting in rapid spread plus reduced threat to life. An overall benefit. And after there had been just a few variants. Coincidence? Understanding coincidence is like understanding providence. Very remarkably beneficial changes or very noticeably harmful changes, remarkably varying from the expected statistical average. Luck - good or bad. Here we should ask “Does God throw dice?” Answer: perhaps not but God determines outcomes. Science cannot comment on that because it is the unknown, non natural, untestable, undetectable metaphysical universe where science only sees matter, energy and gravity, but cannot tell us if that is all there is because it is unable to see that far.

Human origins

 If humans were evolving for millions of years and have been around as humans for hundreds of thousands of years, why so few pyramids? Why no beautiful building remains older than ten thousand years old? Why no writing before five thousand years ago? Why no technology? Why no global destruction till now? “They were hunter gatherers,” say the advocates of the current too-big-to-fail, dogmatic theory. Nomadic hunter gatherers exist today and in the last few thousand years but look at Aksum, Timbuktu, the Great Zimbabwe and other glorious cities built by our equivalent in the last two millennia of so-called nomadic hunter-gatherer races, you cannot just sum up thousands of years of humans with such sweeping phrases like hunter gatherers. There are still tribes in Papua New Guinea living as they always lived. Yet other parts of Papua New Guinea have cities. Even the newly discovered cannibal tribes there are still building amazing tree houses. Without outside influence. Humans are a very capable species, irrespective of their lifestyle. Just because some people live as so-called hunter gatherers in known history does not mean those people and others nearby don’t build buildings, sophisticated buildings which last. Look at nomadic Tuaregs and Berbers but then look at the astonishing library and civilisation of Timbuktu in the Middle Ages. Human hunters, gatherers and nomads are a species which does amazing feats of innovation and builds amazing buildings. It is in our blood, whether or not we hunt, gather and migrate. So again I ask, if humans were evolving for millions of years and have been around as humans for hundreds of thousands of years, why so few glorious building remains older than ten thousand years old? Where is real solid evidence of humans living hundreds of thousands of years ago, given that it is in the nature of humans to build, learn, innovate, design beauty and leave behind buildings which can last thousands of years? Typically big, long-lasting building projects have happened among humans several times every millennium, throughout known ancient history. Why no evidence of these before ten thousand years ago? Then they suddenly started. That is not consistent with a slowly evolving species existing in its present state for hundreds of thousands of years then evolving just a little more. 

Genesis according to the modern world

 Once upon a time a couple of unknown creatures wandered into a swamp, settled down in the swamp land and they or a couple of their descendants gave birth to a baby human. Why have creatures ever since then not given birth to baby humans in other places too? Perhaps the couple of unknown creatures were on the very point of extinction and were themselves children of new species, so none of their kind existed before or after that, to have other baby humans. Who did that baby human pair with, to produce its human descendants? It must have been ultra-human because it would have had to couple with the kind of creature its parents were, immediately diluting its humanness. So its descendants were at most slightly human, having had to couple with and breed from non-humans. It is all a nicely far-fetched human-concocted notion, if you ask me. A fairy tale? Or a product of atheistic scientism and scientific materialism. Either way, for atheists who want to cancel God, it makes a nice story to tell their children.

Information and life

Life usually consists of cells. Cells have lots of information and need lots of information. The DNA for example, but also RNA, mRNA, and mechanisms for how these all work together and fit together. The information exists to tell a cell to produce other cells and to change into specialised cells and to stay alive, with all the processes that requires and the information about all the protein sequences that are required, etcetera, etcetera. Even a plasmid or virus needs information to encode amino acids into useful proteins that will help the DNA or RNA to reproduce in host cells, despite being so relatively simple in structure that some scientists say the plasmids and viruses are not really independently alive. Even such semi-alive viruses and plasmids need to store, reproduce and evolve huge amounts of information and to develop within a context in which exists huge amounts of information. Then there is the overall context such as the direction in which these living and semi-living things evolve and relate to each other in an ecosystem. For a bee to hatch and grow into adult there has to be an overall information system that says whether there will be flowers with nectar to gather. For flowers to grow there has to be information that bees exist to pollinate them once they are mature. The information in a planet inhabited by living things is so vast. Then the planet needs information to keep it inhabitable. If it does not persist in a certain orbit from its star it will become uninhabitable. Something has to hold the information about the orbit and the parameters of flexibility of that orbit within which life will continue. All these things are prerequisites of life. Where is all this information stored? Within life itself. So how would life come out of gravity and matter and energy unless it existed before gravity and matter and energy?  Ultimately this information needs more besides in order to result in the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the new future that comes about through Jesus. All the prerequisites for the coming of Jesus require the kind of holy information that could not come from mere gravity, matter and energy alone but must be previously stored in Life existing before these material things. 

A prayer for England

The original English king, Alfred, famously established a law code for everyone, based on scriptures and Christian case judgments. It led over the following millennium to the worldwide concept we find today in most countries of the rule of law. For some countries it is only recently that this concept of laws for everyone in a country has been adopted. Yet behind this we have a concept of Christian values of virtuous judgment by priestly leaders and monks. Oddly, England did not allow the English successors of Alfred to continue to rule England and allowed England to be dominated by other countries for a thousand years. Yet other countries in turn adopted the law system of Alfred which he in turn had inherited from both Christian religion and Europe’s Charlemagne empire. England had started from Anglo Saxon mercenaries accompanying Roman imperialists as the hatchet men of Rome and it continued as providers of warrior men for successive foreign rulers of England for a thousand years. Today we have more access to scriptures and we have the revivals of Holy Spirit leadership over English churches, concurrent with similar movements in the other countries of the British isles. Now we know that providing mercenary services to foreign rulers is not the epitome of a Christian country but rather a violation of God’s higher call through Christ Jesus to peace and to a putting away of the sword. Let England no longer be a provider of the sword to every neighbouring or treaty-yoked country. Let us be led towards peaceful life as well as lawful life, with the teachings of Jesus Christ held in highest esteem. God grant us rulers who will lead us towards this. God cease from punishing our wayward folly with leadership by the blind into meaningless war amid a threat of World War III.

Every man sitting under his own tree

 Hitler’s vision was a car for every family - the people’s car. Let’s not follow Hitler. Every household with a garden and some peace and quiet plus a home working cottage industry - more laudable goals: For a healthy outlook and the salvation of this planet.

What is directing us?

 We need there to be sighted leaders who say what they see to the blind who can follow. There are too many blind leaders who say what the blind want to hear but leads to disaster like this horrid threat of nuclear war and the horrid plagues of pharmaceuticals and the old world imperialisms. God judges us by allowing the blind to lead us, but the mercy of God is shown to us by Jesus warning about the blindness of the guides who fail to practice what they preach. If people ignore Jesus then the only outcome is that the things they hear will be directions from blind guides leading to misery, degradation, destruction and war, even a threat of nuclear war. Jesus is still the lord who is our hope, Jesus who is the way, the truth, the life. 

Moral backbone

We listen to things. Sometimes these things are wise things. They are solid and like nails hammered into wood. If we ignore wise things it leaves us flimsy inside. Wise sayings that sink home form a firm inner core in our psyche that directs our thoughts, attitudes, and actions wisely and soundly. It helps our conscience grow truly and properly. We call it a moral compass because it guides us truly. We call it a moral backbone because the words and concepts stick firmly, because they are reliable and sure. The message of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ might seem to an unbeliever to be folly but if we let it take root into a believing inner mentality we find it to be even more sure and true and rightly guiding than words of human wisdom because it is heavenly. It sits there as our moral backbone does only it gives us all the more help towards rightly guided actions than wisdom can give us. It is heavenly. It is like a cross within us, nailing us to it and killing our sinful inclinations even more than moral backbone can do. It strengthens our conscience, inspires our hope and faith and it leads to genuine love. It awakens our inner spiritual being and opens it to the interactions of the heavenly Holy Spirit to cleanse us and make us fitting servants to the service of God the Father, with Jesus Christ as our living lord. It helps us love the world no more, breaking free from the world’s vice grip. To God be thanks. 

Beliefs without evidence

Many atheists say they accept no beliefs without evidence, but theirs is effectively a belief without evidence when they say, without evidence, that no gods or spirits exist, that nothing except the material universe exists. It is not just not believing. It is believing that nothing except the material universe exists. This is called scientific materialism. Many atheists believe in it. It has become a main philosophy of the modern world, underpinning science and much of modern reasoning. There is no evidence for it. For example right now, if you look inside your consciousness, your thoughts, your feelings, your impulses, awareness in your mind, this reasoning will tell you to regard it all as matter and energy and nothing else. It will tell you that material processes can account for all that is going on in your consciousness. This is purely a belief without evidence. There is no evidence that the material universe, the matter and energy and gravity, accounts for everything and is all that exists, that nothing else exists. This is a belief imposed upon us by the modern age, the predominant way of thinking that has arisen in society in recent times, mainly over the last century or so. It is a belief without basis, the very kind of belief that many atheists claim to reject, yet it underpins the atheism of many.

A philosophy of life

 Life cannot come from non-life since too much information would need to accumulate in opposition to entropy. So life must always have existed even before any Big Bang and therefore it must have not been composed of matter and energy. Presumably this life, for it to survive a Big Bang, it would be such that it would not be killed by anything since that Big Bang. So it would be eternal and the source of all other life. At some point it must have made the first life involving matter and energy. The original life would be able to carry the information needed by matter and energy. Since non-material life must exist, it follows that it could have created other non-material life too. No reason to think only the original life created material-based life, several non-material life forms may have collaborated, in all probability. Even material-based life has non-material components such as consciousness, so this supports the existence of pure non-material life going back to before any material universe existed. 

The burden about Britain

 “Israel has sinned”, says the LORD. The powers look to the church to serve their own ends instead of serving God with love. The people look to the powers to rule instead of looking to God to provide the rulers. The UK is supposed to be a covenant country, an Israel of God. Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, all your strength, all your mind. Love God with your voice. With your vote. Seek the will of God in the selecting of your rulers. Bring God into the power system. Teach God’s words to your children. If not? There is looming war, even a hint of possibility of a nuclear aspect to it, with generals and politicians all discussing it even now. The eyes of surveillance are eyes of war. Where will it end? The nuclear option? The bombing planes flying out from a mushroom cloud behind them? Tell it from the rooftops. Love God, your God. Jesus help us, the Lord who is Jesus alive today. 

The real war

 Rumours of wars that don’t yet exist. But some of the mighty will find their actual problem does really exist. There is a living lord who has something against them. This lord is Jesus Christ.

Three heavenly human colleagues

 Presumably there are three human colleagues we know about today who are alive in heaven: Jesus (the Son of Man), Elijah and Enoch. All three are mentioned in the Book of Enoch. All three intercede for the ‘sheep’. I hope they are all good friends. They must get a lot of company with each other.

Jesus Christ’s knowledge of scriptures

Jesus Christ has good knowledge of ancient scriptures. The Book of Enoch turns up in scripture scrolls of the stashes we call Dead Sea Scrolls very frequently, one of the most frequently found sources as Dead Sea Scrolls were being discovered during the last century. A significant proportion of these scrolls date from the time of the first century BC so were likely in circulation also in Jesus’ time. Jesus referred to scriptures about angels not marrying and of all known scriptures of that time, only the Book of Enoch records this detail about angels. Jude, brother of Jesus, wrote about and quoted the book too (Epistle of Jude). Jesus clearly keeps good knowledge of the Book of Enoch and promotes it to believers. It appears to be top of the main list of scriptures endorsed by Jesus Christ. The contents of the Book of Enoch permeate Lord Jesus’ teachings, it is clearly close to Jesus’ heart, and this permeates some of what the Holy Spirit still teaches today in Jesus’ name. “We do well to pay attention to it as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.”

What greatest being might exist?

What are the odds of no other beings existing in the universe other than those known to scientists? Of all the beings in the universe, what are the odds of humans being the greatest beings? What are the odds of the greatest being in the universe being greater than humans? Considering the age of the universe, if scientists have calculated it correctly, and the relatively short time humans have existed, if scientists have calculated it correctly, surely the greatest being alive today would in all probability be far, far older and greater than any human beings born in our lifetimes. So how likely is it that atheists are correct in thinking there is no god? The greatest being in the universe, and there must be one, must surely surpass humans so much that we could call this greatest being a god. Anything else would be too improbably to consider a scientific possibility. Why don’t atheists agree? The greatest being in the universe or universes must be a probable certainty, not a myth or a theory or a lie or a fiction. It is inevitable that there is one being who is greatest. By probability alone, the likelihood is almost certain that this being is greater than any of us. Why do atheists not agree? Surely it is not really debatable. What is astounding is that this greatest of all beings has made Himself known to humans and given an only begotten son to save humans. 

Baptism

 Baptism or faith alone? Isn’t it a bit like asking, can you live with a partner as husband and wife or must you get married to be husband and wife? Ceremonies are important in life in societies. Laws hinge on them. We make commitments in our hearts but open, ceremonial commitments are important too. But like living with a partner or getting married it is a choice and depends on circumstances.

Only in Christ

 The answers are only to be found in Christ, when we lose everything that we may gain Christ. 

What is life?

 How could life come from chaos and gravity alone, unless it already existed from the very start of the Big Bang and before? Can life not exist and then exist? Is that consistent with physics? It seems consistent with physics that life existing before the Big Bang would be necessary for life to ever exist after it. This leaves the question: what is the nature of life that could exist before the Big Bang and to survive the Big Bang without ceasing to be alive so that life can exist now, after the Big Bang? What is the nature of that life? It clearly has nothing to do with matter as we know it. It has no hypostasis like gold or silver. 

Mistaken historians

 Why do historians call people such as Enoch ‘mythical’? They are mentioned in contemporary texts, extant texts, so why say they are mythical? The mythical are only mythical until archaeologists can substantiate their existence beyond the contemporary texts such as the Sumerian king lists and scriptural texts such as the Book of Genesis and Book of Enoch. They just need more sources. So ‘mythical’ is a label. It is a misnomer because there is no evidence that these people were NOT real people. There is no evidence they were mythical in a true sense of the word. Lack of known evidence of existence is not evidence of non-existence. This is therefore a mistake on the part of historians and ordinary people who are influenced by these historians and their writings. 

One True God

There are many gods who are spirit beings to whom many prayers have been made and in whom many have hoped. One spirit being stands out above all others because this One is most mighty, most high, king over all others, eternal, and yet most of all this One True God saves those who call on Him and hope in like no other gods ever really do. Yes, gods save, but one is so much greater in saving, so much that true faith can be put in Him, as Jesus taught and does: Jesus the Christ He sent to provide real salvation through all time. It has meant Jesus dying for our sins on a cross and now this same Jesus is the one this One True God resurrected and made the Lord over us all forever. Repent and be baptised in Jesus’ name and you will receive the promised Holy Spirit. Stop prioritising gods who do not save like this God. Serve and prioritise above all others the One True God who sent Jesus Christ for our salvation. When you have received the Holy Spirit you will be led into the truth and spirit anointing you need to serve this God, the Father. 

Holy communion

 Thinking now, it is Saturday evening, so it is Sunday communion online tomorrow morning. Letting Jesus in. Such a powerful yet simple ceremony introduced by Jesus Christ two thousand years ago, extending the Passover introduced by the Father more than a thousand years before that. Remembering Jesus and taking in Jesus’ body and Jesus’ blood symbolically but spiritually in this ceremony, showing the death Jesus offered of the holy body and blood of this holy only begotten Son of God on the cross. It started the covenant between God and the disciples of God’s holy Son. Food of eternal life. We kept the feast online during lockdown and we all know what time to attend bringing our own red wine and bread, so though we are many in various houses, we link up at once knowing others do the same. I like to continue it even now lockdown is ending. So simple yet so powerful. So holy. Jesus present in spirit. Lord over us all. Lord having died and risen by the will of God who sent Him.

“Just do your job!”

 “They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness.” (2 Peter 2:15)

We must be so careful when we have a choice of the kind of work we do for a living or the kind of employer who employs us. I remember agonising over my line of work decision and I remember the choices of jobs when I was young and unemployed. I tried selling double-glazed windows but they insisted I must lie to potential customers to secure a follow-up visit. I tried scientific lab work but they insisted I must experiment on live animals. I tried IT consultancy and did well for years but it got nasty when foreign not 100% friendly countries wanted ability to control our sensitive document systems. I was very zealous for following Christian gospel teachings in my work and it ruled out so many jobs. Yet now, looking back after forty years of work, it was good to shun any work where wickedness was necessary to earn the wage. Do governments sympathise with this? Do workforce leaders, leaders of industry and heads of government departments influencing work available to us realise that wickedness pays a wage but destroys the moral wellbeing of the worker of that wickedness and threatens to undermine the ways of righteousness laid down by the One True God? Like Balaam mentioned in scripture, it is too easy to start life with good intentions but become professionally wicked. So many professions today involve wickedness. But the answer of society is to tell us there is no such thing as wickedness or righteousness and we should: “Just do your job!”  

The Way of Balaam

 What god would require humans to cultivate human foetus cells, harvested from a wholly unnecessary abortion sixty years earlier, and inject an extract industrially produced from those cells, all in exchange for some kind of overestimated assurance of immunity from a plague, a plague likely produced by the very studies undertaken by the communities who follow such thinking? Does this god also want governments to force these injections on those whose faith requires rejection of such abhorrent practices and ill treat those who have legally succeeded in avoiding such injections? The medical ‘sciences’ following this god are largely made up of those who profess atheism and teach a metaphysics in which gods do not exist, claiming this all comes from experiments on Nature alone. The god of this age is a god who blinds and lies and kills and forces decent people to act against their consciences, even attempting to force such things on those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow Jesus’ teachings. Woe to the blind guides. They have followed this ‘way of Balaam’.

One God

 The God who parted the Red Sea and led a new people out of Egypt and over a thousand years later was called “Your Father in Heaven” by the Lord Jesus Christ, this God is one person, one being, one God, faithful and true. Love this God with not just your heart, your soul, your strength and your mind but also with all of your voice. Publish His words online, post them around your living space, tell them to others, teach them to your children. Make Him part of your leader elections. Make His commands your goal to understand and follow. Let Jesus His Son lead you by the Holy Spirit. Lean on the teachings and ways of Jesus so they influence your inner understanding and outer actions. This is life and peace. Let Jesus in. Let Him be our Lord and we one people for Him under God.

Greatest sermons in history

 If we look at the great speech of Moses in Deuteronomy - Hear O Israel ... There is first an emphasis on who God is, God the person who led them out, then on God being one person, one God, and then on how to show love to this one person who is God of Israel by keeping this God’s words and giving them high prominence in daily life and teaching them to children to persist them through future generations. It is practical love based on truth. It was possibly the greatest sermon in history, until the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount does not replace it at all, but augments it and completes it. The Sermon on the Mount is in perfect continuity with the Moses Hear O Israel sermon, and Jesus maintained the focus of Moses on “Your God” by then continuing by referring to this same one God as “Your Father in Heaven”. Hence One God becomes in Jesus’ teaching the One True God, the Father.

God and a god

 One of my main religious and theological aims is to understand why the Father says “I am God”. And of course Jesus never says “I am God”. Of course God does not tell us whether the word is god of God, but in English the absence of ‘a’ or ‘the’ (indefinite or definite article) invariably means ‘God’ rather than ‘god’. Any powerful person to whom people make supplication can say “I am a god”. But the Father says “I am God” so I would love to understand that. Jesus did imply “I am a god” (recorded in John chapter 10). But never “I am God” in the sense the Father says it. I think even Trinitarianism would accept and acknowledge this. 

Is Jesus a ‘mighty god’?

 Is Jesus a ‘mighty god’? He is a resurrected immortal human so in this sense Jesus is effectively a mighty, godlike man: A ‘mighty god’. Plus the status of Jesus, given to Jesus by the One True God, makes Jesus a god, once among men, now among believers in meetings in Jesus’ name, and above all in lordship, the Son of Man who comes in the clouds (as with Paul on the Damascus road). Yes, quite a guy!

A false kind of monotheism

 I think there came a time in Jewish history from 300 AD onwards spreading into Christian history when it was fashionable to deny the existence of gods apart from God. The Book of Enoch didn’t fit that narrative. Actually neither did other scriptures but translation tricks could hide this. The tricks would not work on the Book of Enoch, so it got suppressed. The Jews after destruction of the Temple took a new stance on monotheism, but not monotheism where God is king above all gods and where Elijah was answered by fire while prophets of Baal were ignored, no a different definition of monotheism where gods did not even exist. A false monotheism. I could understand it that the destruction of the Temple weakened the original case for monotheism where gods failed to deliver from God’s hand, because it must have seemed like now God had failed to deliver from the hands of those who worshipped those other lesser gods, so maybe, I expect they felt pressure to say, God was the lesser god. The salvage operation might have been a plan B outright denial of other gods existing: Playing a patriotism card requiring patriots to join in by denying gods even exist, besides God. That would make sense. In which case the Book of Enoch might have been collateral damage in fallout from destruction of the Temple and destruction of the argument of Moses and Elijah. If God could not be regarded as Most High god, they would insist God is the only god. This persists in Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Jewish faiths, even in Islam. The result would be to argue with Hindus by saying that their gods do not exist. The real truth, however, is still that the resurrection of Jesus Christ proves that God is the Most High, king above all gods, and that the gods cannot elevate us like God can elevate and perfect us now that Christ has died for us and risen.  It is not a denial of the existence of other gods. 

Zaccheus

 I think of the account in the gospels in the Bible of the man Zaccheus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zacchaeus). He was despised by his locals for his work as cheating tax collector for the occupying Roman forces. No wonder. His life was stunted by this disgraceful stigma. His height was stunted too. He had to get a view of Jesus when Jesus passed by a crowds prevented Zaccheus seeing Jesus because Zaccheus was rather short. So Zaccheus climbed a tree to get a view. He was used to doing things out of initiative to compensate for his height and poor social stature. He reminds me of myself I hate to admit. Having worked in local government almost twenty years and been a conformer to the authorities of officialdom since school days, sucking up to teachers and to the system, I too was of low esteem in the eyes of my peers. Hated for conforming and benefiting from it, when others were unfairly treated by that system and not so able to get along with its impositions. What makes me feel I have much more in common with Zaccheus was the way Jesus treated Zaccheus and treated me too 2000 years later, that same Jesus. Zaccheus got noticed. Jesus didn’t shun him. Jesus went up to him personally and introduced Himself and then actually went along to this man’s house and gave despised Zaccheus a one-to-one lesson in the ways and power of God, converting Zaccheus and freeing him from his trap of vice and ignorance. Jesus is still like that today. He came to me in 1995, I think that was the year, and spoke a miracle into happening when I was walking in the heavy rain, me out there with a massive umbrella up. “Put down your umbrella!” Jesus said it invisibly but right inside my head with absolute authority. When I put the umbrella down in that torrential rain the rain stopped instantly. Then when I said to myself “It is the Lord!” the Lord helped my uncertainty by visiting me later in my house that night. I kind of knew it was Jesus out there in the rain but I really wanted Jesus to confirm it. I asked for a sign it was Jesus Himself. I went to bed that night and saw a dressing gown, never really used, hung on the nail on the wall. If it was Jesus, I said, let it be off the wall by the morning. In the middle of the night an extremely authoritative feeling got right inside my head waking me up. It got right through my mental defences, like the master of my soul alone could do. I so remembered that power all the years since. I woke and felt compelled to get up immediately. I simply reached out a took the dressing gown. As I took it off the wall I suddenly remembered the sign I had asked for. The Lord truly was Jesus. Wow! I knew it with a calm I had never known before. That calm returns to me just by remembering it. Jesus truly is the same Jesus as spoke to Zaccheus and calmed storms and walked on water and even did miracles after rising from the dead. This Lord is truly Jesus. The Master of my soul. Now I know what Zaccheus knew. Despised by men, and rightly so, but visited for salvation’s sake by the Lord Jesus Christ, by the kindness of God who gives Jesus these things to do, God the true Father of Jesus Christ. What a man Jesus is. A true gentleman, alive today. Alive, thankfully, forever. The same forever. 

Exasperating

 It is exasperating that ‘Christians’ continue to reject the teachings of Jesus (or ignore them, perhaps unable to understand them), accepting instead their human traditions and denominational teachings based on human traditions. Even the trees of Nature are growing by the power of the teachings and the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Why do people expect to prosper while rejecting this glorious name of Jesus and Jesus’ teachings? It is exasperating. 

Truth and the word of God

 Truth coming through Christ is packaged with implicit or explicit commands to be carried out. It is called ‘God’s word’ in scripture. The teachings of Jesus and the truth and grace coming from Jesus and the apostles and gifts of the Holy Spirit are called God’s word and are to be carried out with their implicit and explicit commands.

Above the law

 Political leaders might think writing laws and rules puts them above those laws and rules. Well there is one thing which is above their laws and rules: Truth.

The price of the vaccine

 A politician, in the place of leader, telling me I must be vaccinated, especially now the risk is almost gone, is pushing me not so much into a sinful direction of acting against my conscience by being injected with sorcery baby juice extract, so much as pushing me into a direction of ignoring politicians like this. Tell me it is sinful to ignore the politicians and I’ll tell you that, indeed pushing a believer into sin is a serious matter. The leading politicians and their followers will probably pay a costly price at the hands of the heavenly champion of believers.

The folly of modern science

 It is funny (no, not ha ha funny) that modern science gets conflated with wisdom when really it is about the folly of imposing lies rather than facing up to truth; lies such as the big one that spirit does not exist and spirits do not exist and mind is a set of chemical reactions and electrical signals.

Real Chrustianity

 Real Christianity is not about following denominations without accountability to Christ. It is about Christ, Jesus. It is about teachings flowing from Jesus through the Holy Spirit. It is about taking this as a yoke, like a yoke of oxen. It is about the doctrines Jesus believes. It is about the God Jesus believes and loves, the One Person who is the Father, the God of Jesus. It is about the one man who is Lord over us all, who is Jesus who died on a cross and was raised to life by God and lives forever, the same now as in the gospels. It is about the Holy Spirit teaching such believers and having dominion over us and helping us by leading us into all truth. Are you this kind of Christian?

The End and the New Beginning

 At some point, more than 1000 years from now, maybe not much more than that, after Judgement Day, the Earth’s crust will pretty much all melt. Perhaps it will be caused the the descent of the New Jerusalem, I don’t know. The sea will all evaporate and vaporise into space. Then all things will be made anew. Even Hell will have gone. Only spiritual immortal and imperishable things will remain. 

I love it

 I love it that God exists. And I love it that the Lord exists (Jesus). I love it that the Holy Spirit has dominion. I love it that Jesus is the same Jesus as we find in scripture.

Dark origins of the science of chemistry

 In 300 AD the Roman Greco-Egyptian father of alchemy and chemistry Zosimos of Panopolis wrote about the Book of Enoch and about what it reveals about the dark origins of chemistry:

“The ancient and divine writings say that the angels became enamoured of women; and, descending, taught them all the works of nature. He seems to imply the Book of Enoch is the ancient divine writing from which we learn of this fallen angel origin of chemistry. It alludes to these passages:

“And in those days Noah saw the earth that it had sunk down and its destruction was nigh...”

‘And a command has gone forth from the presence of the Lord concerning those who dwell on the earth that their ruin is accomplished because they have learnt all the secrets of the angels, and all the violence of the Satans, and all their powers--the most secret ones--and all the power of those who practice sorcery, and the power of witchcraft, and the power of those who make molten images for the whole earth: And how silver is produced from the dust of the earth, and how soft metal originates in the earth. For lead and tin are not produced from the earth like the first: it is a fountain that produces them, and an angel stands therein, and that angel is pre-eminent

1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. 2. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: 3. Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, 4. the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. 5. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. 6. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals 〈of the earth〉 and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. 2. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended: and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are wrought on the earth. 11. Contrary to Modern Science

 Contrary to prevailing scientific dogma, spirit exists and spirits exist. (This disagrees profoundly with scientific materialism.) There is a king over them all. God. And a lord over them and over us all. Jesus.

A sanity check for Christians considering a career in Science

 “The heavens declare the glory of God;

the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;

night after night they reveal knowledge.

They have no speech, they use no words;

no sound is heard from them.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,

their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,

like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

It rises at one end of the heavens

and makes its circuit to the other;

nothing is deprived of its warmth.”

I tried studying science at university because of this passage and other such sentiments. Like many, I had hoped that by finding out more about Nature, I would feel more wonder at the glory of its creator and understand the ways of God. One year into my degree and it was clear the atheism of the lecturers had no such sentiment nor would they ever give glory to God or recognise the wonder of what they were trying to understand and teach. They only loved the money they might raise to do more experimentation. All I would learn from Science would be the cunningness of alchemy. So sad. I nearly quit but peer pressure made me continue and complete my degree. I later took a scientific lab job but again there was no love of finding out the knowledge within Nature and glorifying God, only substantiating feedback to funders to keep the lab open. Then they closed anyway and tried to get me a job in another lab, but it was not possible, I was told by the other lab, to continue that career path without experimenting on live animals. I quit. Years later I realised how much ancient sorcery practices still take central place in sciences and drive the agenda. Sad. Jesus warns of this in Revelation.

Real church

 Real church is a circle of those connected to Lord Jesus. Focussing on supporting a building for meetings tends to make the ownership of the building too important. I prefer house churches but even there you get the house owner having too much power. Lockdown has helped put things into perspective.

Good news

 Take comfort from the existence of Jesus and with Jesus being a man and with Jesus being the righteousness of God, the Father.

The Way Ahead

 Jesus walked on water, showing that when you walk with Jesus there will always be a way.

Appeal for Unity

Since the Council of Nicea, the majority of Christians, albeit Catholic Christians (in those times Catholicism was a slightly different concept of ‘Christian’ seeking to incorporate all in the Roman Empire) have sinfully been rejecting that minority of Christians who hold to the teachings of Jesus and find in this that they cannot fully accept some aspects of Trinitarianism. Many of this minority hold to teachings that God the Father is the One True God and that Jesus Christ is sent by this One God; teachings known as Unitarianism. Today the majority of Trinitarian churches continue this sin. Yet we should consider in the favour of both Unitarians and Trinitarians that the Holy Spirit is coming upon all these groups nowadays. We need to see a unity developing between Unitarians and Trinitarians in order to please God and build a single Temple and church for God and as the united, single body of His Christ. The Holy Spirit seems to me to be leading the way in this by descending upon all these disciples, irrespective of whether they are Trinitarian or Unitarian. Neither group should persist the division, because both groups should follow the lead of the Holy Spirit. Those led by the Holy Spirit are truly sons of God. This is what we should all aspire to be, above all else, above all our dogma preferences and philosophies.

Some historical background to Enoch, of the Book of Enoch

 Some historical background to Enoch, of the Book of Enoch. Sumerian was the only language in the region where Enoch lived several generations before the Flood. So writings of Enoch would have been written in Sumerian. Writing in Sumerian was just becoming commonplace around Enoch’s time, written mainly using a stick to press marks into clay, then drying the clay. It is called cuneiform writing. The first records of lists of kings of the people who spoke Sumerian before and after the Flood were written down up until the time of Abraham in cities such as Abraham’s city, Ur. These records are known today having been found in archaeological digs since the 1920s. They are called The Sumerian King Lists. They mention Noah, calling him Zuisudra and Utnapishtim. Mostly writing started in Sumerian cuneiform but after the Flood a new language developed called Akkadian, starting from around 2500 BC. The Sumerian started to be replaced by Akkadian from around 2200 BC onwards, but Sumerian still survived like Latin, Sanskrit and Ge’ez survive today, mainly for religious use as a language for official sacred writings. The first kings documented in the lists of kings after the Flood are not corroborated yet by archaeologists so they tend to be doubted as historical by historians. The first king in the lists to be corroborated is a contemporary of Noah after the Flood named Enmebaragesi. He is usually dated by modern historians to 2700 or 2600 BC, which means the Flood would be dated around 2800 BC to 2700 BC, although its historicity is doubted by historians today. So essentially, although records go back to times of Adam, through to times of Enoch, through to times of Noah, no person mentioned is usually regarded by modern historians as historical unless they are corroborated by extant archaeological  finds from the time. This means that Enoch, although mentioned in Genesis and possibly tied to the Enmenduranki mentioned in the Sumerian King Lists (predecessor of predecessor of predecessor of Noah), is not regarded as historical (yet). If he were (and he might be if more discoveries are made), historians might date him to around 3000 BC. 

Christian life

 Honesty check. Wonderful people who have no use for idols and have made God, the Father of Jesus, our one God above all gods, how do we realistically live godly, Christian lives? There will always be hours to fill which provide a vacuum which can be a struggle to keep free of vice, even if we do as much evangelism, building up of each other and encouraging as our spare time, opportunity and energy allows, with God’s help. We may read some scriptures, as much as we can take in, perhaps doing so in a shared community context to aid understanding of what we read and provide for spiritual help. All that might fill an hour of spare time. We pray a short prayer (God is in heaven so we keep our prayer short), similar to the Lord’s Prayer, along those lines or maybe using those words, which might take minutes, given time to focus and prepare or a lot less, maybe a couple of times a day. We spend a bit of time kindly reaching out to the poor who ask for our help. We try to get some Christian meeting attendance into our day, perhaps a couple of times a week for a few hours a week. We keep such time free of dishonesty and keep only truth on our lips and in our minds, That is all well and good. We do not want to get ritualistic or to unrealistically overdo it. This is perhaps in addition to caring, spending family time, working full time or part time to provide for needs, keeping our environment civilised, getting sensible hours of sleep, eating, all leaving hours to try to relax. We might be working seven to ten hours a day to have something to give. In the restorative relaxation hours what do we do? It makes sense we still look at maybe some fashion magazines or celebrity gossip TV (if we are female, especially), watch some movies, maybe try to get informed together with being entertained by watching documentaries or reading factual books or browsing interesting subjects online. It might seem worldly, but we do need ways to both relax and gen-up on knowledge with a broad range of interests, perhaps with some hobbies in mind such as gardening or home improvement. We are humans and there are only so many ways we can learn and socialise even if we seek to remain as godly as we can be. What if we were stuck in prison or hospital or on an oil rig or remote lighthouse, with nothing but a TV or computer and only worldly people as colleagues and company. We need to try to avoid extremes of worldliness such as violence, porn, promiscuity, drugs, darker scientific interests, self-harm, alcoholism, hating, trolling, fraud, dishonesty, stealing, idolatry and the many vices thrown towards us by darker sides of society, but it is a battle, depending on circumstances, needing God’s constant help through Jesus Christ, and mutual help of believers by prayer and encouragement. We have not too much control over what we can do in our days, especially if income is low and we are poor. Mainly we keep struggling to eliminate vice from our day and try to include the positive, beneficial things as much as we can. We need to include self-development so we can stay productive and work profitably as we know and obey our Lord, who is Jesus. This might require that we learn from both worldly and godly sources, if we are realistic and honest about it. It depends on circumstances often outside of our control. So it is an ongoing need for wisdom and grace from God, who gives from above only good and perfect things, and we have to trust what God actually gives, not just what we think God might give. Reality is the thing. We should filter out the excessively ungodly, worldly, harmful vice, but we need to accept what is put into our lives from above and accept that God is real and knows what is good for us and that might involve things we do not relish such as hardship, boredom, difficulty and sadness. In all our struggling we can remember that Christ provided for us the crucified sacrifice which affects our behaviour and God raised Jesus Christ from the dead so that we have help at hand forever. God made with us a covenant by that cross. He is in the struggle with us.

Down through time the cross of Christ

The cross of Christ is like a rebuke of our sin that reaches our consciences down through time even to today and forever. Christ provided it for us by that crucifixion. God raised Jesus Christ from the dead once the good was done. God loves us. The cross of Christ crucified affects our behaviour but struggling against sin is still tough. God raised Jesus Christ from the dead so that we have help at hand forever. God made with us a covenant by that cross. He is in the struggle with us. All this love lavished on us by God, the Father of the Lord Jesus. We owe it to God to put effort into building up the believing followers of Jesus and building these together into the united body that is the new Temple for the glory of God’s name. We should openly pass all these things on to our children and write them for ourselves and our close neighbours to read and even make them known widely and loudly. This is how we can love God back.

Time travel

 If we can predict the future, and obviously not everyone believes we can, but given a belief exists that prediction of the future and precognition do exist, it means we can communicate to people in the past by the possibility of some in the past predicting what we communicate today. So since information can travel to the past from the present, maybe that information carries some of ourselves within it. Something of our spirit is conveyed by information travelling back to the past. 

Reason enough for monotheism

 The resurrection of Jesus in real history. It shows the power and love towards us of the God who sent Jesus, with prospect of our resurrection too. This gives us reason, believing it, that God should be our One God to whom we pray. No other god, though they exist, offers such a prospect as we have before us in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.  

Monotheism is misunderstood

Monotheism is misunderstood. We cry to God not because we think no other deities exist. We know there are many who do exist and indeed many have been creators involved in creating from the beginning, even creating life. We cry chiefly to God because God more than anyone should be our God of choice, having sent Lord Jesus to be our Anointed One and die for our sins and having lovingly raised this Lord Jesus from the dead. We cry to God because He is king above all gods. We cry to God because He alone is father over all, under whose authority all things are made to be. We cry to God because no other god can save like our God saves, because He is more mighty than they and none of them can undo what our God does or prevent it succeeding. God has first place and the right to be our God more than other gods. We look to the Lord Jesus for salvation, not because we think no other lords, no other masters, no other saviours exist. We know others do exist. We look to Jesus Christ because He is lord above all lords and because Jesus is alive forever from the dead and has the keys of death and Hell and because He is the one for whose sake His Father has authored the creation of all things. The love extended by God towards us in sending Jesus Christ to give all of us the teachings and truth and provision of sacrifice on the cross for our sins, this love is our reason to make God our god more than any other god when we believe this message and believe in Him and in Jesus His only-begotten Son. 

True Monotheism

Monotheism is mistaught, misunderstood, misconstrued. I am eager to understand it in the way that Elijah understood it: True monotheism as taught by God Himself. In its true form it does not correspond to denial of the existence of gods, of elohim, but it is something else. As far as I can so far understand, it is about the true meaning of the second commandment out of the ten “No לֹֽ֣א shall have (yih- yeh-) יִהְיֶֽה־ You לְךָ֛֩ gods אֱלֹהִ֥֨ים other אֲחֵרִ֖֜ים before (‘al-)  עַל־ Me פָּנָֽ֗יַ .” ‘al- “upon, above, over” and ‘yih- yeh-‘ “come to pass, shall have” seem to be the crucial imperatives. “You shall not allow other gods to come to be before, above, over Me.” It is not a command to deny that other gods exist. It is about not letting any of these other gods come to be over, above, before God, the Most High God, the king above all gods.

Origins of dark science

 In the Middle Ages, as alchemy spread in Europe, when Persian writings were translated by monks, the small groups of leisurely men interested in alchemy started to print their theories and beliefs using the newly invented printing presses. The Church tried to police it. Darker science publications were burnt, especially when ceremonial invocation of spirits was involved, but theories linked to results of scientific studies based on experiments were allowed to circulate. However, the sorcery, when covered by experimentation, was allowed to circulate too. So sciences today still have a dark core of animal experimentation (the sacrifice), weaponisation, medical and eternal life potions and ambitions to discover dark secrets of how create animal life from plants or inanimate matter (the homunculus and golem) and mixing of completely different species (the chimera).

A gospel of encounters

 When people experience Jesus, by an honest response it can lead to confessions which are effectively the substance of the gospel. This happened around the Nativity, played out by Christian school children at Christmas, but in reality, two thousand years ago coming from a collecting together of many religious supernatural experiences concerning the baby Jesus. The epistles of the apostle Paul emanate from his supernatural experience of Jesus on the Damascus road. The others who wrote New Testament scriptures did so because they encountered Jesus risen from the dead and realised it was the one they had all called ‘the Lord’ before the terrible crucifixion took Jesus from them. Whether to call it supernatural is questionable because it was no ghost that they saw, but the flesh risen walking and talking Jesus who still did miracles in front of them. I have met people who claim encounters with Jesus in these times in which we live today. Even I encountered the Lord in a miraculous moment out in a street near my home. The way the voice told me to put down my umbrella in a serious flood torrential rain storm and immediately as I lowered the umbrella the rain stopped dead so not a drop, it seemed, touched me, that made me say to myself in certainty ‘it is the Lord’. The further encounter to help me be even more certain, that night, over night, left me certain this was indeed the same Jesus found in the gospels and that this Jesus is so very much the master, even of my deepest being. We can know these things by testimony of others and even by, some of us, experiencing Jesus for ourselves. The truths we can express from these encounters supplies the content of the gospel message. It all contributes to the gathering of a body of many believers around this risen Lord: the Lord who we can all confess is the Jesus of the gospels risen from the dead. Want to not die in your sins? This is the way.

Jesus’ endorsement of the Book of Enoch

 When Christians decide whether to read the Book of Enoch in their private devotions and in their church services, the chief consideration ought not to be whether their denomination endorses this, but rather that Jesus endorses it. Jesus is after all the risen lord and master over the whole house of God. The gospels provide evidence, which we can take together with historic evidence from the prevalence of the Book of Enoch in those times, that Jesus did endorse the Book of Enoch as essential scriptures to be known, together with knowing the power of God, to keep us from error. Being saved from error is a key part of salvation which is by the truth that is in Jesus. 

The saying to confess with heartfelt belief

 The saying to confess with heartfelt belief: “It is Jesus, risen from the dead, who is the Head over all God’s household, the Lord.”

Stars and the Universe

 It might seem that believers are guessing that maybe all planetary and stellar objects in the universe are made by God and His angels but it is more likely that actually the Holy Spirit, whose knowledge of the universe is true and real and from the very beginning, has made it known to believers by revelation, because the psalmist of some of the scriptural, biblical psalms, was inspired to compose psalms stating that all the stars are God’s handiwork.

 Goodbye 2021, the year we pondered if the black sciences of USA, UK, EU, China, WHO too, give us both pandemics and vaccines.

This same Jesus

 When Christ comes into our world again, the Jesus of the gospels is the same Jesus who will come. He has not changed. He is dependably constant. He comes in smaller ways even now, as a foretaste, and is recognisable as the very same Lord as the apostles and disciples of the first century gospels knew. Best that we get to know those gospel sayings well. Many will not survive that swordlike tongue wielded by Jesus, the same as in ancient times. That time long ago they heard those words and then were allowed to crucify Jesus. This time there will be powerful enemies who will fall to the sword coming from Jesus’ mouth. Some are falling to it  now as a foretaste. Know Jesus’ sayings, and believe that Jesus is, and was dead, and is alive forever.

Conscience

 With baptism I gain the description, CHRISTIAN, and association with the name of Christ, Jesus Christ. But I have to keep to this in good conscience and good faith, with genuine persuasion, holding truly to the full teachings of Christ and hoping in all this for salvation from my sins and from dying in my sins. Conscience is essential in this. Love comes from keeping it clear. Being forced against conscience or forcing other believers to act against conscience or if I or others do things thar wound the good conscience of believers it is not love. It is not loving our neighbours to make people act against their conscience, nor will any love come from it. 

I need the name of Christ

 Christmas. Christianity. Christ. Having association with the name these represent, the name CHRIST comes with baptism. We who have been baptised in order to bear this name, ought to be proud of it: proud of the title CHRISTIAN. Yes, leaders of so-called Christian churches and kingdoms let down that name, giving Christianity a tarnished name. But we are not baptised into the foolishness of worldly leaders. We are baptised to receive Christ because we need another name in addition to our own. I need this name of Christ in addition to my name so I was happily baptised. The name of Christ saves me. I need its salvation. I might happily do without the other things associated with the name and Christianity. I can even live without Christmas, take it or leave it, but I need the salvation that comes with association with Christ and Christ’s teachings, and with fellowship with the one who brought it all into the world, Jesus Christ, and with the God who sent Him and created this way, the Father.

Writings of Noah?

 “1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. 2. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children’.”

That is from the Book of Enoch chapter 6, first two verses.

This is from Genesis chapter 6, first two verses:

“1. And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2. that the sons of God having seen the daughters of men that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose.”

There is no possibility these are coincidentally so similar. Maybe one is quoting the other or both are quoting a common source. So which came first? Is there another explanation? Those of us who believe the Book of Enoch is genuinely from Enoch, great grandfather of Noah, might say Genesis came later. Yet not necessarily so, since Genesis might be quoting Noah and Noah might be the editor of the Book of Enoch, having written part of it, so maybe Noah simply wrote both passages, and neither quotes the other. They are just written by the same person.

Revelation that is not in need of improvement by dogma

 Peter knew that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

“Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.”Matthew 16:17

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17

We should discern what comes from God the Father because of how good and perfect it is. Jesus discerned the revelation by which Peter knew Him because Jesus discerned its goodness and perfection. You know it was a good and perfect revelation, coming as it did to Peter from the Father. Not some mediocre revelation that would need to be revised later to fix the imperfections and defects. Not a shadow of truth that would change. 

Augmented Intelligence

 If computer augmented intelligence was truly a new stage of human evolution, by now humans would have evolved ploughshare hands or evolved to have horses’ legs from all those centuries working the countryside. A major strength of humans is that we DON’T get too attached to our tools. We can use them then lose them, and move on. The original information revolution people were a little too obsessed by their own importance. Dark Science

People ought to distinguish science and dark science, like they distinguish other magic and dark/black magic. The dark science would be science using techniques likely to appeal to dark forces. Dark forms of experiments on animals (or humans, even). Uses of resources gained by dark methods such as human foetus killings and animal experiments (especially deaths of humans for the sake of the studies) should be seen as dark. These dark studies and processes are processes where appealing to evil forces cannot be ruled out, even if they cannot be proven, where there are hallmarks of possible dark magic origins and thinking. Immoral science, unethical science and science which just seems dark, rather than clean, genuine, wholesome experiments, these darker practices should be regarded the same way we regard black magic. There’s dark science and dark medicine which will get its practitioners thrown in the fire of judgement day. We shouldn’t be teaching it to our children. 

Natural vaccination January 2022

In 2022, in the UK, COVID infections seem likely to be rampant after the first week in January increasing to maximum before the end of January. Staffing problems are surely to be expected. If this is one wave, subsiding after mid January, it does look like a natural or God-sent mass vaccination programme. Staffing problems might be completely unprecedented. Worse point mid January. Nobody catching it before Christmas recovering in time to cover for those catching it after first week of January. That is going to lead to all kinds of problems. Forewarned is forearmed. I’m hoping the sickness will be mild for most and not lead to more than usual winter deaths. Yet the effect of lack of staff in nursing homes due to staff sickness could be dire.

Dark

 If the medical mages wanting us all to inject something had really only wanted full acceptance, I wonder why they based that injection on things that would make it seem so dark. It makes it look like they were bound to use dark arts to do it.

The ultimate victory

 God, together with the Christ sent by God, defeated Rome and its gods. The gods worshipped by Ancient Rome, though powerful when invoked, were unable to prevent God raising Jesus Christ from the dead after Rome under its gods crucified Jesus. God showed that He is king above all gods. Now the worship of gods of ancient Romans is in so many countries gone. Now God who is king above them, God the Father, can be known and prayed to and worshipped. Even if not everyone knows God, king above all gods, there is scope and an open chance to know Him and live in service to Him. Centuries earlier the Israelite people had been formed in another similar victory showing that this same God is king above even the gods of Egypt. Coming out of Egypt was not easy for Moses and his people. Gods were invoked against them by Egyptian shamanic magicians. The magicians had huge power by invoking the spirits who were gods to Ancient Egypt who had power even to create life. The gods empowering the priests were real. Are still real. One particular god worshipped by some of the Ancient Egyptians was Seth. He was possibly the same being the Israelites and later their Jewish descendants called Satan. Many characteristics of Seth recorded by Ancient Egypt also apply to characteristics associated with Satan. These gods, these beings, do not cease to exist just because their worship dies out. Some of these gods had even been involved in historic events behind the creating of the Natural world we see today. During the Exodus the One True God above all gods overcame all the gods invoked by those powerful Egyptian shamanic priests and magicians and God sent plagues that even those powerful priests and the gods of creation could not stop. The gods did enable those magicians to mimic some of the plagues but they could not end them. Eventually after the tenth plague, it proved too much and the Pharaoh gave in and let Moses lead out the Israelites, out of his clutches as their overall slave master. Whether Seth was one of the gods or angels invoked by the magicians is not recorded in the Bible scriptures, but centuries later the same or similar being Satan is recorded in the gospels as having sought to cut across the path of obedience of Jesus Christ and was instrumental in the betrayal which led to Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus said that the betrayal was Satan’s hour. Yet the refusal of Jesus to disobey God or let God down was a beginning of this god of the age, Satan’s defeat. The crucifixion provided for your sins and mine, when we believe and let it turn our consciences away from sin, purifying our consciences. Then the resurrection of Jesus from the dead by God completed this victory over Satan and showed the ultimate power over all gods does indeed belong to God and to His Son, showing Jesus Christ to be the Lord over all, made lord over all by this One True God.

That is the astonishing glory of God through the crucifixion and resurrection of the one who is now shown to be Lord over all, Jesus Christ. This Jesus is the same today as in that ancient time, and is the same forever, alive forever.
