Evangelical groups focus on personal faith but still centralize decision-making and doctrinal control. True faith embraces personal revelation and spiritual sight, as Jesus taught. Are we limiting what God can show us? God is sovereign. You cannot limit Him with preconceptions, creeds, and canons. He teaches us, or we stay ignorant. Almost all churches today choose ignorance.
