Relying on deception for security can lead to dangerous consequences, much like walking a treacherous path without realizing the pitfalls ahead. In times like these, when the world feels uncertain and precarious, it is more important than ever to seek true peace—the kind that can only come from being reconciled with God. Making a refuge of lies can be to make a covenant with death. We live in apocalyptic times. Be reconciled to God, instead. Let yourself be convicted by truth. Confess to having done wrong. The gospel preaching is what can save the one who believes and lead you open to the Holy Spirit. This then can unite this believer with the body of Christ.
