The Crown

In understanding the relationship between God the Father and Christ the Son, it is important to recognize their distinction while acknowledging the divine authority granted to the Son. Just as a king and his crown prince both represent the kingdom, with the king as the source of all authority and the prince as the appointed heir, so too does Christ serve as the visible representation of God's will and power. However, just as referring to only the crown prince as "the Crown" would disregard the supremacy of the king, elevating Christ to the status of the Father Himself would overlook the ultimate source of divinity. Christ derives His authority from the Father, acting as His chosen representative, but the Father remains the absolute and sovereign God. Recognizing this order maintains reverence for God while honoring Christ’s divine mission without conflating their identities.
