What total joy God gave Jesus by raising him from the dead, thus making him victorious Lord over all of us. Jesus suffered so much, though he had come from being immortal in heaven, taking mortal human flesh, to minister the truth to mankind. He is worthy in God’s eyes to judge us all, living and dead, on Judgement Day. He is the lamb sacrifice who died for your sins and mine, to purify his followers in the sight of God. Believing in him, be baptised into his eternally life, letting your former self come to an end by identifying, by baptism, with his death, and likewise uniting with him in his resurrection. Hold forever to his teachings, learning obedience to your Lord, Jesus Christ, entering into his church, the one body of Christ. Let God give you the Holy Spirit to be there alongside you giving comfort to you and through you to others. Jesus is coming soon. Be found worthy when he comes.
